I worked in the dallas terminal second worst terminal next to chicago terminals are the most antimanagement they all believe we did nothing but tand their and collect freight bills. Honestly I think the want it to go BK to kill the union, if your management you know as welll as I do they are 24/7 trying to find ways to kill the union. That is why I think they want this to go BK to kill ties and kill contract with the union. and to be honest if they do that they company will sky rocket back up. Because the causuals are miss treated by the union, but are the hardest working guys out there now imagine everyone busting tail like those guys 24hrs a day

nope Im a former yellow operations supervisor, thoose guys hide behind the union to get a paycheck they do not earn. Now I will say there are some great workers but the lazy ones far out weight them. And the union memebers get mad if anyone is even nice to managers, the stewards were the worst always yelling a causals for talking to managers. Plus I have never seen so much waste of man power and destruction of products in my life. You cant fire anyone because they run to union, I have seen a man drive a forklift in to a the Hub managers truck and get sent home for one day and laught at him in the face the next day he was back,because he recieved pay on that day.

If people saw the amount of lost and damaged goods they would freak. We were told never let people on the docks because 15-25% of the dallas hub was a full section of millions of dollars worth of lost freight because freight bills were torn off and goods damaged . The stealing is rampant their I have had many of time US military personel came out looking for goods lost in transit. I watched a 25 million dollar flight simulator drop and shoved in a truck like nothing happened and all the sensors had turned red, and was told just pass it along so it would not be blamed on the dallas hub. There are no consequences for not doing your job for the union and the worst can happen is being sent home for a day. There are people that can not read moving and suppose to be reading freight bills just putting peoples product where ever and expecting the non union guys to clean up the mess. The best yet are the 4 porters that are paid to sit around and read a newspaper all night a sweep once a night and if there is a spill they will throw a fit and go take a break

This was nothing but a stall in the company going under. Im sorry to be a downer but I am a former laid off yrcw operations supervisor. And i can say first hand the is more money lost than made and the teamsters will not change and will strangle this company. There are charts posted in the break rooms showing how fedex and ups where out performing them and making then money and that yrcw was falling more and more each month. I dont have any negative feeling towards the company but in my opnion if the company can not break away from union its a goner. And the management is constantly trying to find away to kill the teamsters unions, trust me on this every thing they do is I a process of killing the union and if this comapany goes BK it will kill the union and try to come back without union ties
