Good article about indigenous bloom ... the company that is likely the merger or JV partner (assuming they pull that off)
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.ladysmithchronicle.com/business/indigenous-bloom-and-stzuminus-first-nation-partner-to-provide-first-nations-cannabis-opportunities/amp/
They are doing a reverse merger with indigenous bloom/hempco.
Yep been using it nightly since my first post. Is it a miracle? No. Is it effective ... or more effective than other creams I’ve tried? So far yes.
For others reading this you may not like the way the company is run and that is certainly your right. It’s a far leap to go from disliking the trajectory of a company to declaring it a scam.
Based on what? An address? Old history?
Is the bottle in my hands a scam too? Am I a scam???
Happy to do it will keep posting my experience as time goes on.
Hah that lid was no joke. I finally managed to pry it off.
A couple of notes for people who are curious...
Very nicely packaged as I said before.
I would say the cost was on par with other creams I’ve purchased. The tub is bigger.
The cream is sort of off white and very thick. More like a paste.
There is very little smell maybe slightly medicine like. That could also be my nose.
The experience:
First despite being so thick it rubs in surprisingly fast.
I ended up using it twice last night. Interestingly I have very mild neuropathy in my hands too and that’s where I felt the strongest and fastest effects. Even though that was a “secondary target” as I primarily put it on my feet and neck/upper traps. Meaning I just rubbed in a bit of residual stuff after the other body parts so as not to waste it. Hands felt gently and pleasantly warm within a few minutes of use. Neuropathic sx there went to basically nothing BUT I repeat my case is mild in the hands. The warming effect lasted an hour or so. My hands didn’t bother me for the rest of the evening.
For the feet I waited about an hour and applied a second M&m sized amount just to the toes. I would say the pain went from maybe a 5/10 to a 2 or 3. That effect lasted for around 6-7 hours; I woke up for my nightly business at some point and noticed the pain was starting to come back. Still that’s pretty impressive for a first use.
I’ve applied it again this morning to my feet, wondering if this has a loading response. Pharmacology is in the distant past for me but some day it would be nice to see pharmacokinetics/dynamics on this kind of product.
Received my first jar of hourglass cbd today and will try to post a full first use report by tomorrow...
I will say it’s very nicely packaged and came with a mask which is a nice touch. Applied it to my feet for neuropathy ( look it up if you don’t know) and a little bit on my neck and shoulders which are tight after running this weekend. I rubbed whatever residual was left into my hands. In all I used a dollop about the same size as a peanut m+m or slightly more. Not expecting a miracle for this first time mainly I want to make sure I don’t develop a rash or other reaction. Let’s see what happens.
I have my doubts as to whether it’s Tilray BUT it’s not impossible even with this merger. The M&A activity is booming right now. Frankly some of it is crazy. But this is all part of the deal the MJ space is still ike the Wild West and will stay there until the financial heavy hitters are allowed in.
I doubt that a big boy like Tilray would go for merger or JV versus outright acquisition.
Much improved... waiting for my order to ship.
God only knows. I’ve been praying that the relative silence recently is because that negotiation is on-going.
I really hope there is an answer to this soon.
It got changed to the 26th I think... there was a PR.
Ordered hourglass today too will give my honest opinion as soon as I can. I’m in medicine and this will be a very interesting experience for me.
Yep same here... irritating to be up wicked early Sunday AM for nothing (I’m in Cali).
Yourist if you’re reading you had better drop a PR about this loss of PR.
Thanks for this.
I’m having a lot of trouble finding information about the new company other than they are newly incorporated.
Anyone have anything?
Great information.. do you happen to have page ten?
That deal fell through.
That deal fell through.
You have certainly reported this kind of call several times.
I’m curious if you know many shares your friend holds.
The other thing is this - coordinated short sellers have also been known to make such calls.
Just food for thought...
The how it works page has also been rewritten ... this is a much better version imo
They released the details of the agreement in one of their reporting statements. It actually gave away too much in detail including the commission on sales, the territories etc.
I have been in this longer than anyone here (competing with ND and Mike) and my opinion fwiw is this:
1. Like all pennies it’s high risk. Very high risk. If you don’t have money to lose you shouldn’t be here.
2. The original ticker had nothing to do with the current enterprise. I could go on about that story, their device (which I saw) and the foolishness and frauds of the presiding CEO but it’s of little meaning now.
3. The new company has always been a growth play more than anything else.
4. People should read about the Boston Brewing Company.
5. What is on market here is a product which MAY be a game changer - I’m still waiting to get my hands on some. The other products in their portfolio aren’t particularly special.
6. What is also on market here is the company’s ability to distribute and market which they seem to have at least some capability of. That combined with their licenses does make them a potential M&A or JV target.
7. Which would make them attractive to northern players looking to expand down here relatively cheaply.
8. Catalysts: good ER, name of a partner. Hype is also a catalyst but not my preference.
9. Otherwise this likely remains a boutique stock for 1-2 years minimum.
I will happily talk to anyone who is interested and I have plenty of shares!
Welllll maybe it is sundial.. they applied for decent sized shelf offering... a billion. Exciting times!
they would be good too though I think they are in a merger...
Ideally we could attract some attention from more than one of the big Canadian players. Sndl is still in the mix given how much cash they are sitting on....
HEXO has news regarding an acquisition ... clearly they are looking for things to buy.
I still wonder if HEXO is the secret admirer. They have news today.
That guy is joking he also said the ceo walked out of his moms house in the morning ... check out his old posts.
My guess is HEXO.
Great question I’m hoping they expand to northern Cali soon so I can give it the college try.

Interesting article... for what it’s worth gpft is in the e spreadsheet.
https://weedmaps.com/brands/grapefruit/retailers
The weedmaps page has been cleaned up not sure when that happened.
I agree that press releases, while informative, are a pretty old school way of going about this. It also seems clear that those releases are related to sentiments on the board - we have a few members who appear to be in very good contact with management.
So with that in mind, I so would love to see some of the things in the article below put to use. Given that their launch is in LA and assuming the rest of Cali is next, I would think influencers of all types would be at the core of a marketing campaign. Even a few minor league influencers would expose the product to thousands of people in one go and at reasonable cost.
The other thing I keep wondering about is the other brands in the portfolio like SugarStoned. It seems like the products are still available ... maybe? I bought some long ago for full disclosure. Is the founder still contracted and if so why isn’t she endorsing Hourglass? She has a few thousand followers in the LA area which is small but it’s a hell of a lot better than 48.
I would love to see an update on all of that; words from the naysayers get responses but I’ve been in this longer than most (by far) along with a few others. You did the work and got the product out there... throw some of your supporters a bone and tell us what your marketing goals and objectives are.
https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/celebrity-endorsements
The old company was purchased by the new owners primarily to get the ticker in a reverse merger.
People speculate and conspiracy theories come and go. As far as anyone can tell via public records there is zero relationship between the founder of the original company (radiology) the current owners.
Sounds good thanks much for the update.
Hahhhhh old crew! Yeah I’m still here. If this hits then I’ll do very well ... if not then I’m fine.
I never got samples of this product but if they get distributors up in northern Cali I’d love to give it a try and report back.
Anyway after all this time I’m ready to see it to the end I suppose.
Mind telling us which dispensary? Are you in SoCal?
All fair questions. Re the gummies I got them quite some time ago. Months. Not sure what the status is now.
I have tried the sugarstoned gummies in fact I still have some.
I’m looking forward to trying the patch less patch - once they have a broader release I’ll get both the cbd and full spectrum versions. I’m in northern Cali so I might also see if I can get some shipped up.
I didn’t go down there to look at a Christmas tree display. I’m a double boarded physician and wouldn’t be so easy to fool. The technology didn’t fail and there are plenty of examples out there - look up cone beam CT. Anyone feeling ambitious can read an FDA presentation about it.
There was a fair amount of interest in this initially and some coverage in trade journals etc.
The failure was in the execution. There are many approaches to rendering these images which depend on the algorithms used. On top of other things, Janes couldn’t satisfactorily discuss his chosen algorithm nor did he provide images from predicate devices that were appropriately comparable with what his machine produced.
His own radiologist attested to that and the FDA told him to get lost. By the time the guy figured out a more reasonable (but still imperfect) approach to this the money was either spent or pocketed and the deception started.
This was never going to be a CT killer because CT exams have achieved economies of scale. It could have had some market in ancillary settings like outpatient, operating theaters... places where fluoroscopy “plus more” would have been appealing.
Regardless none of this has anything to do with the current business - this effort may exist on paper but Janes is long gone and I believe their scientific advisors (whom I have communicated with in the past) have all been disconnected. This is a cannabis company now which may or may not make it based on their ability to claim market share and keep debt under control.
If businesses were all classified as scams because of ugly things in their past, the DOW would collapse tomorrow, the lights would go off and we’d be back to being farmers in no time flat.
