I didn't buy .85 cents of stock. I had stock before the last reverse split. That is what dropped my number of shares down to its present worthless number.
Meaningless. The way I read it, for each share of FNXC I own, I will get .0001073 shares of the new company. Since I own 8500 pieces of garbage, I will get .91205 shares of the new company.
Outstanding shares are supposedly 64.8 million. Multiple that by the .0001073 and you get 6953.04 shares going to current shareholders. Yet, they are issuing 75 million shares???
Sounds to me like he is setting the new company up from the get-go to massively dilute that one also. 96+ million shares traded on Thursday (all at .0001), yet ONLY 64.8 million shares outstanding. Guess he decided to do another massive dump. Just wondering when the next RS is coming.
He is doing the same thing he did a few years ago. He dumped and dumped and then did a 1:5000 reverse split. Apparently he is needing money again. I am still holding the 200 shares that I was left with after the last reverse split.
Just another money-grubbing ambulance chasing law firm. They filled the class action without any plaintiffs and are now digging around trying to find some. Shouldn't be legal to file lawsuits without having clients for those lawsuits.
I hope so. That's my birthday and that would be a very good birthday present!
Yes, the "Ste A" means Suite A. However, that doesn't mean there is more than 1 room or even a large room. I have seen old hotels turned into "offices" that are rented out cheap for people needing an "office" outside of their home. No way to tell about the size without someone seeing it.
The name of the game is convenience. Last spring I could have paid about $150 for a push mower, but I paid $1200 for a riding mower. More out of my pocket, it uses more gas, doesn't get all the little nooks and crannies. Why did I get it though? Convenience. I (or my wife) now mow the yard in about 1.5 hours as opposed to 4-5 hours with a push mower. Today's society is all about convenience. Yes, the car wash sponge costs a bit much, but it is more convenient.
Probably BS. Do you think he would have hesitated to name the company if the PR was real? Just more games!
Thanks, I did block his/her PMs. I have a free account, so I can't PM back.
I agree with you. They are not going to lie to the SEC and investors. If they are going to be trying to get on the NASDAQ, they have to be on the up and up. If they raised the AS, they have a reason to do it. They do need to let us know all the details behind it though.
What is an "iggy"?
Possibly, but that would be more likely if they announced that they were going to have quarterly dividends. For a 1 time dividend, it probably would raise the PPS up the amount of the dividend until the dividend was paid, then it would drop lower. However, some people would value the stock slightly higher than they normally would because of the "if they did it once, they could do it again" thinking. Besides, it would raise the credibilty of the company as I don't think scam companies pay dividends.
I am also in this for the long term. Am trying to do some flipping to get my share count up though. Picked up some more yesterday, but missed today's opportunity. Drove all night and spent the day napping and checking PPS. PPS was .147 and took a nap and woke up to see .124 or so. Frustrating because I could have picked up a bunch more. But at least I wasn't driving all day, would have missed seeing some of the action I saw.
Exactly, that's why a dividend (no matter how small) should be done, IMHO. It would do 2 things, 1 - force a massive short squeeze and, 2 - raise the basis for valueing SPNG stock. While #2 is important to the everyday value of SPNG stock, #1 (the MSS) would temporarily propel SPNG stock values to heights only dreamed of before coming back down to realistic values.
It would also boost the PPS (without the short squeeze) because the company actually paid a dividend. Dividends don't have to be quarterly to boost PPS, they just have to occur every now and then. Investors look at that and price the shares accordingly.
You've never mooned someone?
It wouldn't even need to be 10%. A .001 or .0001 per share dividend would be enough. Wouldn't cost SPNG much money, but would catch the shorters with their pants down.
maybe there isn't one? Could BW have done a Carnes and just had a special run of water done, videotaped it so investors could see it, and that is the end of it? Remember, the TA is still gagged, no updates anywhere, DEL incorporation as a "safety precaution", OS raised to 5 Bil, AS raised to 7 Bil. Way too many red flags thrown up, but we want to believe BW and ignore the red flags. There has been speculation on this board that BBDA is helping finance Potencia. Members of this board are buying Potencia and telling their buddies about it and are helping try to get it into stores. BW gets money and sales staff from BBDA, IMHO. I want to believe, but every passing day makes it harder and harder.
You really need to get that 2nd computer.
Or switch to 3 or 4 computers. If he is using 2 aliases, how many others is he using?
Seemed like a good bet, what with a new CEO with an established company. But with him "not" knowing the SS (while at same time a few billion shares dumped into the market), the CE status on pinks, inability to get his website updated to take name of "old" CEO off and his put on there, nearly all PRs and videos having his private company mentioned or shown. All that made me rather nervous, plus losing 40% of investment with it looking like another 20% might disappear. I decided I had better pull out. Volume was down in a big way and it seemed like most of what volume was left was either dumps or other investors leaving. Just seemed smart at this time. Besides, SPNG is looking a WHOLE LOT BETTER!
True for the most part, but they can affect the PPS at times. But doing good DD and listening to the longer-term posters can offset any doubts the bashers raise. When you see 10,20,30 new faces on the board and they are all trying to raise doubts and fears, you know that something is going to happen soon. I saw all the new faces lately, read their posts and then read the replies to them. Then I sold a water beverage company (at a loss since they are doing nothing right now and might drop even farther) and put that money into SPNG. If the MMs are trying this hard to keep SPNG down, something is on the horizon. And it looks like blue skies to me.
I think that Dora would pop it more than .05 IMHO. Mom and Dad babysit kids and have foster kids. Place is a screaming madhouse a lot of the time, that is until SpongeBob or Dora come on. If one of them is on the tube, you can hear a pin drop. I like SpongeBob, don't care for Dora a whole lot, but the kids love her. Probably would kill for a Dora sponge.
What do you mean?
BillyRay, I have a free account, so I can't PM back.
Not sure idea is patentable, most likely has been patented sometime in the past. The truck washes has all kinds of brushes and such mounted on long poles. Anyway, it would kinda look like a sponge mop that you pick up at the local store. So, old idea except when applied to SPNG products.
Thanks for the patenting idea though.
Thanks. Been watching this board for a little while and doing some posting to it, but didn't think about the sponge on a handle until I saw your picture of the truck.
Thanks, didn't think of the RVs and boats though. Anything tall enough that you can't reach it with your hand. Could be a bigger market than I thought.
Maybe someone can pass this onto management.
How about adapting the car sponge to be able to be mounted on a long handle? This would be useful for washing/waxing big rigs. A truck wash costs about $35, extra if you want it waxed also. A lot of truck owners wash their rigs at home and being able to mount the car sponge on a long handle would allow the truck owner to wash and wax his big rig at home (or local wash bay) cheaper and probably cheaper. Wouldn't be as big a seller as the car sponge, but a side market nonetheless.
I agree, I want straight talk. I want the good and the bad so I can make an informed decision. "Blue Sky" can drive up PPS too high, making the corrections worse than they should be. "Doom and Gloom" drives PPS down and makes it hard for PPS to rise. But, when you have all the facts PPS will behave accordingly. With a company like SPNG though, PPS will still rise, but maybe not so fast that it attracts the shorters and paid bashers. I like reality and can still make plenty of money on it.
Actually, yes WalMart returns products unless it was shipped from China or somewhere like that and has to be returned to the shipper's location. With American companies, they will return items and the shipper usually has to pay the shipping cost to the WalMart DC and then pay again for the returned product. WalMart has been the Kiss of Death for a lot of American companies, unless they are making their product overseas and shipping to USA. WalMart constantly says, lower our cost or we drop your product. Of course, if it is a hot selling item, it isn't too bad. While I think that the car sponges and such will be good sellers, the character sponges will be HOT. Just can't let WalMart make up more than 50% of orders or they have us over barrel. Get WalMart and will have to get KMart, Target, and other big locations also to balance WalMart out.
Don't see SPNG taking a hit of growth, not with SpongeBob coming out. They are pushing their car sponges hard on TV and sales are moving up. You put the up front costs in first, like I said, in case the product flops (I don't see this product flopping though). If sales increase to the point where you have to add in another production line, then you end up with more costs from buying more moulds, that's another bubble in the COGS that helps keep the tax rates down. True, you can amortiorize out the cost of hardware, but don't think that is possible with the up front license fees.
You would add it in full at the beginning, you would add the percentage license fees in each quarter as the license continues. some companies might break it down and add in so much per quarter until the license is complete, but that is only to keep shareholders from freaking out over big increases in COGS. The full fee is usually added in at the beginning in case the product flops, but also because it is a start-up cost to that product, just like the cost of the moulds for the products and the dies for the packaging.
The COGS will come down as each quarter progresses, just relax and sit back and enjoy the ride.
Nothing wrong with that. I worked for the company that invented those portable basketball units, the ones with the plastic bases. The moulds for those cost over $250,000 and that was back in '93. The moulds for the sponges will be smaller, but they will need more of them. And if one gets broken, SPNG has to pay for the replacement mould, not the company doing the moulding. Also, there are up front licensing fees. Viacom isn't going to just say, Give us X% of each sale. They are going to want a big chunk up front just to sign the contract. When that basketball equipment company I worked for back in the early '90s tried for the NBA endorsement, the NBA wanted $500,000 up front, plus 10% of sales (sales, not profits). All that gets added to the cost of goods sold and raises the percentage at first, but that percentage drops as sales continue to add up.
Not neccessarily. In the beginning of a new product life cycle, new costs are added. For instance, the cost of new molds, design costs for those moulds, if the product needs a different size package then new dies are required to produce the new packaging, advertising also comes under cost of goods sold - need to advertise that new product to get sales. As the life cycle of the product grows, it needs less advertising to maintain momentium, dies and moulds only need replaced when broken or worn out, no new design costs because using the same dies and moulds. Cost of goods sold will usually rise as a percent of sales at first, but then drop as production continues.
Maybe if they grab a sponge (or SpongeBob) they can stay afloat. :)
What exactly are the mechanisms for forcing the NSSers to cover? And are they truly enforceable?
I think the MMs did a good amount of shorting on Friday, and probably covered a lot of it when it bottomed out. They made a good chunk of change on what they covered, but am thinking that they still have uncovered position on SPNG and would love to see it come back and bite them in the butt. Of course, this is IMHO.
Here's to seeing a green close every day this week.
With all of the bashers coming out of the woodwork over the last few days, this week will be exciting. A lot of ups and downs, IMO. Pretty pitiful way for the bashers to make a living though. Trying to drive down PPS or even destroy companies so that NSS doesn't have to be covered. I don't have many shares, but I for one will be holding onto my SPNG for awhile. I hope the bashers and the MMs get caught with their pants down on this stock. GLTYA.
Kinda strange that Vlado sends out PRs listing the names of the companies he is supposedely signing contracts with, but when he finally releases a PR with a dollar amount, he simply states "wireless industry giant". No names given, why? Was it simply another BS PR designed to generate interest so he could dump more shares? Never heard of a company that tells it contractors that they can release a PR saying the size of the contract, but no, you can't mention our name. IMO, if this was a real contract, VLado would have released the name of the company also so that he could tell investors that yes, we are a legit company and we are getting paying contracts, not just contracts that allow us to bid on projects.
Good post Huppo.
Quite correct, a GOOD board needs accurate factual information. Facts are positive or negative and need to be evaluated fully. A person can't ignore either set of them, they need to be considered together. But, we need all of the facts. That's were a board like this helps. A lot of different people with different viewpoints sharing their DD. I am like you, a realist. I try not to pump and I try not to bash. I look at the surface of the water and ask what is below it.
Boards need realists like you. Sure, you will tick off the people who are enthusiastic about a stock and the people who are down on a stock, but I would rather have a good look at all the facts. It is the best way to determine if it is in your best interest to buy a stock.
Hang in there and keep posting.
