Just bring a big fat cheque and you can corner the market Novo 😉

So much potential for Lexaria. This next 6-12 months is going to be fun I think...

What's your guess on multiple deals? They are testing three GLP-1 drugs, plus CBD alone and added to Semaglutide.
And, will we have to have separate deals for weight loss and diabetes? I imagine so if they are marketed separate from each other?
I guess what I'm saying is there could be multiple deals coming.
And don't sleep on the CBD for weight loss and diabetes, that is an easy to market, in house drug that someone will very likely buyout if the results continue to impress with no side effects.
I have no idea how to place a value on something like this, the sky literally is the limit it seems. If management plays this right there will be a lot of life changing money coming in 😉
Huge for the sector and for a potential pill or sublingual version with few, if any, side effects.

Just sell dude, take your loss and move on, you are becoming unbearable with the whining. Be an adult, pick up a phone and call and you will get all the answers you want(other than where any negotiations are at, if there are any ongoing). But this is a public company and there is only so much the company can say, especially when/if they are in negotiations with potential partners.
The IND has already had the initial meeting, it went as well as possible and yes, they obviously are good with the data supplied so far or it would not be proceeding to the next step that is required for IND approval and ultimately full market approval for the product.
Your insinuations that he is taking kickbacks are downright hilarious, if not bordering on slander.
For starters I was talking to Chris yesterday, so please don't try to say he isn't accessible. You obviously are new to investing if you think big corporations just run around signing multi billion dollar contracts without a vast amount of due diligence. You do not know how long these other deals that have been signed were ongoing/in discussions, but some of these deals can take a couple years easily if they want more information from ongoing studies etc. If you want self gratification maybe go play with bitcoin and see how you make out there, but the constant whining is a little much.
How is Chris Bunka taking us for a ride? He's been very good at keeping the float low, using foreign labs and universities to save money all the while developing a product that could change a lot of lives down the road. If you think multi billion dollar corporations just run around signing contracts without substantial due diligence, you may want to re-think that. They are methodical in their approach and will weigh results with many other products that could be on the horizon, or in the market already. It all takes time and I am of the opinion Chris has down a pretty decent job of steering the company to date.
How do you know Big Pharma or Big Tobacco aren't in contact or even testing the Dehydratech products? I think it would be very naive to think that, maybe pick up the phone and call Chris himself, he is very open to conversation.
Instant gratification is a disease some times...
If you don't believe in the stock, why do you still hold? Honest question. And to say GLP-1 drugs are just "trending" is disingenuous, they are looking more like a miracle drug for society, looking into cancer, Alzheimer's and many more diseases to potentially be treated with these medications. These advances in medicine don't happen every year, decade or generation. This could be a once in a lifetime advancement in medicine. That is not just "trending" imo
Either shorts covering, or a pre-arranged sell of shares from past offering. After hours is the p0erfect time to do something like this because of very little on bid and ask...if anything. Hopefully this means those shares are in safer hands now than the fund who just wants to run the financing scam over and over again.
Deals like this take time, large corporations move at a snails pace at times. I am confident we will get something from LEXX in time with the nicotine. We may not like the pace large corps move at but we are at their mercy when it comes to the deals. It is in their time, not ours unfortunately.
I have my doubts we will ever see that reverse split. We now have some income coming in which will show on statements, plus the IND which should make this thing pop and stay well above Nasdaq threshold. The proxy is a "just in case" backstop, nothing more imo.
I noticed the mentioning of large corporations involved in nicotine and pharma. I think maybe this is a hint as to what or who they are currently in discussions with regarding the technology and how it could become a large part of their product pipelines.
Nice to see the Drops are selling well, I imagine this is the reason for the larger orders coming in since they are powered by DehyrdaTECH. Really sounds like this product is taking the market by storm. Quick, convenient, measurable dose, what better way to consume the product?
Excellent news! Seems Bunka has been busy building the company after all.
I'll double Amen that! Disruptive technology is right and was the original reason I got into this stock. The big money is and will always be pharma, the other stuff is great but let's face it once they prove this tech to work in pharma they will get contracts that will end up paying multiple multiples of THC/CBD/Nicotine does. The shear size of the pharma market that this tech could potentially corner is what I have my money riding on.
The ability to pass through the blood brain barrier cannot be overstated. This is a huge win waiting to happen imo.
Fully agree Kgem, there is more to uplisting than just a higher SP. The major boards want stocks that will have volume, a person has to think that Chris won't be selling anytime soon so you take about 20% of the float off the market right there imo, which means very little trading action without a large fundraise, even then you have the holding period.
As you say, not much time to get the ducks in a row to make an uplisting possible this year. But one never knows, maybe Chris has some cards up his sleeve that he plans to play before too long, the NR today may be part of that game.
I agree Kgem, yes the R/S was voted on but to be used only if the SP isn't up where they need to be. I suspect they were counting on the Altria deal to help in this regard but I still firmly believe the deal falling through is best for the company long term.
I think you are right when you say a string of news before listing may be in the cards.
You are correct when you say that major exchanges want liquidity, so a R/S is conducted and then they do a major financing which then creates the dilution and liquidity that Nasdaq wants. It would really reduce the positions that the longs have in the company, but, this kind of move is typical. imo
I may take a hard look at how I play this. They will probably have a concerted push to get the SP up before doing the R/S which I may look at getting out at that time and then back in after the R/S or uplist. Not sure what I am going to do, need a little more forward statement from the company and how they are going to address this situation with uplisting.
Exactly, the nicotine income will be nice down the road but the real money is in Pharma, been saying that for quite a long time.
ROTFLMFAO
If you were involved in startups as you say you would be more even keel, but you aren't. You are acting like some child who got his bat and ball taken away from him. Having a temper tantrum is not a good look for someone who fancies himself some big shot investor.
You don't have to mention Bunka's name, your posts speak volumes. Grow up.
Like I said, some people are childish. Old? I am under 50 thank you and still have invested for a couple decades and have seen people like you all the time, whine about stuff on the internet, calling people names and generally being a fool.
If Bunka got played and is an idiot as you say, then why not sell out and move on rather than acting like a child? Naive is thinking that this is not the best result for the company and most likely the reason they were this quick to announce. But carry on...
Boy, some people sure are childish. Having a hard time understanding business and understanding why this could be very good LONG TERM!
I did not say it will explode Monday, it will go down because people like you will be selling, others with a clear mind will be buying.
You are so certain, why don't you explain how some of us are so naive? I've been in business a very long time and invested for a couple decades, I don't believe I am naive. I am just able to think with a clear mind and not let emotion ruin my day.
But I guess if you think doing business with one company versus multiple companies is a disaster, I guess then there is no changing your mind.
Need to take the emotion out of it and look at this with fresh eyes. This IS better for the company long term. More contracts, probably for a better royalty structure, means more future income. Yes, they get their percentage of the profits, but those profits could maybe be moved up to the parent company Lexaria Biosciences in some way to reduce the impact of Altria's percentage. I don't know how everything is structured so this is just me spitballing but is something I may want to look at if I was Bunka.
I have no doubt that someone will step in, I think this is possibly the best result from this agreement. Got $1m to prove it works and then be able to sign deals with anyone they want. I'm not a huge fan of letting someone have exclusive rights to a technology.
I'm actually happy that this deal fell through. It allows Lexaria to sign many more deals in the States and keep the majority of Lexaria Nicotine division. In the long run I believe this will be better for the company, they know the product works and as such can now market it to others which should be more beneficial to LXX.
Now, question will be, does someone come in and buy up Altria's portion or will they still be able to have a workable relationship with a board member etc?
Good news!
NKLA? Was riding a wave for starters. People understand the technology behind a companies like that. This company, not so much, that is a problem and as such we are valued where we are. Do I agree with their valuations? No, just like I don't agree with Tesla's, Apple etc. Tech is getting way too overvalued for my liking based on revenues or even for you, potential revenue growth.
Of course a takeover would be at much higher prices, that is common sense. BTI news is a clear example of what the market wants, they want revenue and shouting otherwise will not change that.
I agree that the valuation is low, but the market wants something that the company hasn't delivered yet and that is sustained revenue. Show the market that they will have orders quarter after quarter and then the market will wake up and realise.
I suspect that once the uplisting is done there will be a large push to move it higher. You will get the funds working to get more attention drawn to the stock they invested in. Whether that will be enough to hold the SP up is anyone's guess. But in the end revenue growth is the only thing that will see this company to a sustained higher valuation. Many companies go through this when they go from discovery to full roll-out, mining, tech, pharma, doesn't matter, revenue is key.
Of course I am aware of royalty payments, but the first thing is to develop a product and bring it to market, could be a year or two out.
Why are you taking this personal. I gave an opinion and one that I am willing to stand by. The market want real income, not some for ongoing testing and development. If it was a case of signing companies up then we would be much, much higher than we are today, but look at the shareprice, it hasn't happened, in fact gone down.
I'm long on this and feel the tech will win out but real income versus a little bit of money to fund more testing/development are very much two different things.
No, I don't think it will do much. Likely see a bump but really, it is just moving onto phase 2 of the program. If they decide to jump in and start producing something, which means real revenue then that is a different story altogether.
I suspect the same, markets want to see actual revenue. A commitment for the $11m may see a bump up in SP but I don't think it will last and we will see the SP come down again.
Now, if they confirm the 50m+ orders(actual P.O.) then we will see a bump up imo.
I would like to see some big pharma move in to test the product, that is where the big money is going to come from long term imo.
That would be awesome if they could make it work without the R/S, I'm not sure they can get it to that point but I have my fingers crossed.
The problem with a R/S and uplist like they have discussed is that it would leave a very small float, which Nasdaq wouldn't like. They want the stocks to have volume and if it's too tight the funds just won't bother trying to take positions.
So maybe a split and then a big fundraise may be the plan? Which would suck imo.
