The SEC made no allegation of wrongdoing against Truth Social owner Trump Media (DJT), which is not mentioned in the charges from the regulator.
Public companies that have hired BF Borgers will need to find new accounting firms, the SEC alerted companies in a separate statement on Friday.
Trump Media ?announced plans to do just that.
“Trump Media looks forward to working with new auditing partners in accordance with today’s SEC order,” Trump Media spokesperson Shannon Devine told CNN in a statement.
The agency described this as “massive” fraud taking place between January 2021 and June 2023 that impacted more than 1,500 SEC filings and more than 500 public companies.

15-year-old wonder kid Miles Russell continues stunning run on Korn Ferry Tour, opens Veritex Bank Championship with a 3-under 68
In the first round of the Veritex Bank Championship, Miles Russell carded a 68 with 3 under par. After the first round, he is positioned at T80 with 24 others and has a reasonable opportunity to make the cut.
On Thursday, Russell started strong with eight consecutive pars in the afternoon round. He secured birdies on holes 9, 11, 12 and 16 and was bogey-free till the 17th hole. He faltered on the 18th hole, where he had a three-putt bogey at the par-5 from 25 feet. The top 65 players will make the cutline at Texas Rangers GC.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans will use an alternating-round Four-ball and Foursomes format. The first and third rounds will be Four-ball, and the second and final rounds will be Foursomes.
For Foursomes play, players will rotate tee shots. One player will hit the tee shots on all the odd-numbered holes, and the other will hit the tee shot on even-numbered holes. Example: Player A and Player B are partners. On the first hole, Player A tees off; Player B plays the second shot; Player A plays the third shot; and so on until the ball is holed. The total strokes taken will result in the team’s score for that hole.
For Four-Ball play, the players on each team will each play his own ball throughout the entirety of the round, with the best score on each hole recorded. Example: On the first hole, both golfers on each team tee off. Player A pars the hole and Player B birdies it. The team will be credited with a birdie.
FIELD: The starting field will consist of 80 teams (160 players). Each of the top available players from the PGA TOUR Priority Rankings who commits to the tournament will choose his partner, who in turn must have PGA TOUR status unless he is chosen as a tournament sponsor exemption.
MAKING THE CUT: Following the conclusion of the second round, there will be a cut to the low 33 teams and ties at the 33rd position.
IN CASE OF A TIE: A hole-by-hole (sudden death) playoff will be contested with the first hole played as foursomes (alternate shot), the second hole played as four-ball (best ball) where the formats alternate every hole, thereafter, on a set rotation of holes.
WITH A WIN: The Zurich Classic of New Orleans awards FedExCup points and official money, and will count as an official victory for the members of the winning team. As such, both players will receive a two-year winner’s exemption and an eligibility into Invitational fields, including the Sentry Tournament of Champions and THE PLAYERS Championship. Additionally, the PGA of America will include both members of the winning team in the Tournament Winners category for the PGA Championship.
PRIZES: FedExCup points and prize money will be awarded to teams making the cut based on combining every two positions from the distribution table for a standard TOUR event, with each team member receiving an equal share. For instance, the winning team will evenly split first and second place FedExCup points (500 for first and 300 for second for 800 total points, or 400 for each player). Official prize money will be distributed in the same manner
'The King' Richard Petty expressed his dissatisfaction with the last-lap blocking deal that took place at the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
A 'Blocking deal' is when the driver in front chooses to run in the lane that the driver behind them is running to cut out clean air, making their car a lot more draggy. This tactic is widely used in Cup Series races. However, not everyone is a fan of it including $ 65 million worth (according to Celebrity Net Worth) Richard Petty.
In the recent Petty Race Recap podcast, Dale Inman the famous crew chief of Petty asked a fan question, the question stated:
"Should we limit to one blocking move like Formula 1?"
The 7-time Cup Series Champion expressed his concern by saying:
"I never really thought about it that much you know what I mean. I think the blocking deal should be eliminated somehow. I mean, you know I run for years and years and years and the first place guy always give the second place guy plenty of room to run, we never, I never. Remember me blocking anybody or anybody blocking me or even looking at some of the old races to seeing where anybody really blocked anybody." - (12:13)
With this, the NASCAR Hall of Fame reminisced about his time behind the wheel. During that time it was more about competing based on one's speed than spoiling each other's race. He added:
"Everybody just run their deal and just hope that they was better than other people but the blocking deal came about because of Dayton and Talladega, and so I don't know how you're going to eliminate it and like you say you give them one or two blocks and then they get a Black Flag." - (12:54)

Miles Russell, 15, made waves last week on the Korn Ferry Tour, earning the right to play again this week. He'll also compete on the PGA TOUR this fall.
Russell will play the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in November on a sponsor exemption, the American Junior Golf Association announced Monday in a release. This marks the first tournament exemption in a partnership where the reigning AJGA Rolex Junior Player of the Year will receive an exemption into the PGA TOUR event at Port Royal Golf Course.
Russell has yet to make a TOUR start, but he thrived last week in his debut at a professional event, finishing T20 at the Korn Ferry Tour’s LECOM Suncoast Classic. Russell carded rounds of 66-68-70-66 at Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course, not only becoming the youngest player to make a Korn Ferry Tour cut but also recording the first top-25 finish by a player under 16 on either the PGA TOUR or Korn Ferry Tour, on record (since 1983). By finishing inside the top 25, he earned a spot in this week’s Veritex Bank Championship, although he is not eligible to receive non-member points toward Special Temporary Membership prior to age 18.
Last year, Russell became the youngest AJGA Boys Junior Player of the Year, surpassing Tiger Woods’ long-standing record. He joined 2009 AJGA Player of the Year Jordan Spieth and 2013 AJGA Player of the Year Scottie Scheffler in finishing top 25 in their TOUR-sanctioned debut; Spieth finished T16 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson in 2010, while Scheffler finished T22 at the same event in 2014.
This year’s Butterfield Bermuda Championship, part of the FedExCup Fall, is slated for Nov. 14-17 at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda.
“I am honored to be receiving an exemption into the 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship,” Russell said in the AJGA release. “I have dreamt of playing on the PGA TOUR my entire life and to have that dream coming to fruition later this year is a feeling that I cannot describe. I am grateful to the tournament and the AJGA for their partnership that is allowing me this incredible opportunity.”
Russell’s 2023 season included back-to-back victories at TaylorMade TP5 Junior All-Star and Moon Golf Junior All-Star, in addition to a seven-shot win at the Junior PGA Championship and a three-shot win at the Junior PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The native of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, is currently a high school freshman, attending online school.
He'll make his second Korn Ferry Tour start this week in Texas, knowing he’ll have a PGA TOUR start later this year as well.
“The AJGA is excited to offer a PGA TOUR exemption to our Rolex Player of the Year,” said Patrick Cansfield, AJGA director, Development, in the release. “We are proud to partner with the PGA TOUR and Butterfield Bermuda Championship to help our juniors grow on and off the golf course.”

Tuesday's penalty report was a long one, with NASCAR cracking down on violations of its policies on crew protective clothing/equipment in particular. Three different crewmembers -- Zachary Yager on Chris Buescher's team, Jacob Holmes on Christopher Bell's team, and Doug Warrick on Austin Hill's team -- have been suspended for one race for using equipment that did not conform to NASCAR safety protocols. In addition, two crewmembers from Kyle Larson's team, Calvin Teague and Brandon Johnson, have been suspended for the next two weeks for the loss of an improperly installed wheel on Larson's car. Nicholas Covey, the jack man for Austin Dillon's No. 3 team, has been indefinitely suspended for violating NASCAR's substance abuse policy.
