They are seen as a sign that a company is in financial trouble and sees boosting its stock price artificially as the only way out. They're not wrong, but in fact, a number of companies have been forced to reverse-split their stocks during a bad stretch, only to make a genuine comeback in market value over time. It's all about the timing of the reverse split, in the case of Canoo timing a split with announcement of deliveries could work out well. Reducing the number of shares outstanding, I think a 1 for 7 should be the highest. but 5 for 1 would be preferred if the stock can reach .80.- 90 cents.
I would like for them to present some actual sales figures.
At the right time a reverse split would be good, reduce the outstanding share count. Higher price slows down day trading, Trading fractions of a penny at this low price,
presents a worst case for buy and hold. Day traders are killing the price, It doesn't make for an attracted long investment, when you have hoards of internet
fueled day traders. I would like to see fractional penny trades go away.
They have run quite few trials, let's see orders now! What's the sales department doing standing around the coffee machine.

Well they did this with the 9:1 split. The board of directors seem like amateurs. I guess since they did a 25:1 in May, they were screwed. The stock has been in free fall.

Yes probably is, certainly with the 200KW Fuel Cell stack, with lower weight, better fuel management - it's a win-win. Perhaps a larger company will buy the company for the design fuel stack and IP. Something needs to happen before the second half of 2024..
I agree this is an example. The problem these don't seem to be complete truck sales, looks like an upgrade of an old truck. Retrofitting the tractor not going to bring in as much money. So basically in this scenario they are selling the fuel cell stack, not a truck. This is the market they should go after.
It does seem like one customer has placed an order for a mix of both stacks . The problem they will have to raise money - manufacturing trucks requires a lot of cash. In this case it seems this sale is both,

The first five vehicles will be upfitted with Hyzon Class 8 110kW fuel cell systems, and an additional 15 FCEVs will be upfitted with Hyzon's next-generation single 200kW fuel cell system, which is conditional on a successful 200kW vehicle trial. Following the initial deliveries, PFG and Hyzon also have agreed to work together regarding a mutually agreeable option for 30 additional FCEVs.- They burned through 64 Million last quarter - have 145 Million on hand at the end of June. At this rate they will be close to broke buy Q1 2024..

They are going to be broke if they don't start selling trucks by the Hundreds. There projections look poor!
Frankly get out of the truck business, and do what they have excelled in selling fuel cells and stacks.

I’m perspective now they have over 2 billion in orders booked. So maybe the SEC miscalculated the possible revenues.
How does the SEC help stock holders in this type of scenario? They don’t. I think penalties should not be the ones receiving the money. Penalties assigned should be issued to stock holders as a dividend. The laws need to change to actually protect stock holders. In addition this dividend payout will be exempt for company insiders.
I predicted this two months ago. The price will recover in weeks ahead. The dividend is still good. I have no problem with it. It can be raised later to $1.50. This company is way under valued, their cash flow is great. And cash in the bank last I heard over a billion.
Hyzon to GOEV wit production starting in early September. I believe this stock will be up nicely over next two quarters.
Yes I looked onto the Bosch FC Stack. Hyzon Motors has the best product. They nearly burned through most of the 500 Mil.

I think after the conference call the price will drop pretty standard for market. They will probably have very little income to report, not a good thing and EPS will be negative. The one thing that will help are solid sales numbers, but we have not heard anything so far. Remember the Marketeers behave like hysterical woman.
