as always i see both sides ..

obvious prox 4 and 5 could be sold to Rock Tenn
but right now >> imo until a 3 month audit on 3
can be extrapolated out from (eo Oct/early Nov)
i can't see Rock Tenn amending the agreement that
is currently in place with JBI ..

clearly that can change b4 the eoy .. looking forward
to P2O becoming a material event for Rock Tenn :)

Third Quarter Results

Net sales of $2,448 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2013 increased $145 million compared to the third quarter of fiscal 2012. Segment income of $274 million increased $115 million or 72% over the prior year quarter.
RockTenn's restructuring and other costs and operating losses and transition costs due to plant closures for the third quarter of fiscal 2013 were $0.25 per diluted share after-tax. These costs primarily consisted of $22 million of pre-tax facility closure charges and $2 million of pre-tax acquisition and integration costs. The pre-tax facility closure charges primarily consisted of corrugated converting facilities acquired in the Smurfit-Stone Acquisition.

I stated that there has been, is, and will be NO progress on the RKT "partnership" since (IMO... ok?) JBI is a scam and the purpose of the "partnership" was psychological: to make the naive think that big things were coming their way. There has been (and currently is) no progress made on this "partnership". I said so many times in the past on this board. I said that I would check in every 3 months to see what "progress" has been made?

So, what progress has been made since the last time I posted my "wild" (??) assertion?

I'll come back in another 3 and ask the same question.

If, ten years from now, there has been no progress made on this "partnership", will you at least admit that my assertion was not "wild"?

I didn't make those wild assertions, so I don't have any need to prove them. It is up to the person who made the accusations to back them up with facts. It's not up to me to prove or dis-prove anything.

well, may I ask you, in return, to show me ONE LINK to any RKT source (NOT JBI SOURCE) that mentions this partnership? Yes, RKT signed an exclusive agreement with JBI .. that is not in dispute. But, as I asked, what is the "status" of this project? What construction has been done by JBI?

RKT has an incredibly voluminous website with archived material going back many years, and there is absolutely no mention of this "partnership" anywhere.

If you google "RKT" and "JBI" together, you will see that ALL HITS are to JBI-produced announcements of this "partnership".

"Verifiable" is a very, very dangerous word to use when dealing with the possibility that the company you are interested in investing is is an OTC scam. So, if I cannot philosophically "verify" that the purpose of the "partnership" was to make the naive keep believing in the JBI story, that makes the "partnership" legitimate? That's a dangerous approach to take.

I need to see something verifiable from RKT like a PR that says the deal is dead--if it can't be proven, there is zero likelihood that anyone will believe it.

my post is based on the strong belief that JBI is a scam.

It is not only a common, but a NECESSARY, tactic of OTC scams to publish PRs about marvelous upcoming projects (that never ever materialize). If you check the history of JBI, this "partnership" with RKT was touted to the high heavens as proof that great things were in the works for JBI. I have seen this with the other 13 historical scams that I have been following on IHUB for the past few years. The purpose of these "partnerships" and "agreements" and "contracts" and the like is to convince the naive to fork over some more of their money, enabling the scamsters behind the scenes to keep making their unethical and immoral gains. AND NOTHING EVER COMES OF THESE "AGREEMENTS".

In addition, the former CEO of JBI came from RKT-land, and this too was touted to the high heavens as proof of the great things that were awaiting investors in JBI. Now, the JBI pumpers have changed their tune regarding this former CEO and are blaming him in part for the eminent demise of JBI.

by the way, JBI is imploding as we speak, so that's another reason for my very strong belief that nothing will come of this "partnership".

Also, by the way, this "partnership" or "agreement" commits RKT to nothing! JBI would be responsible for all expenses, all construction, and the like, and would have to turn over a certain percentage of any revenue to RKT. It's as if JBI were to offer to clean your toilets for free (in order to turn the waste into fuel) and then contractually promise to give you a percentage of the revenue from sales of the fuel (!!). Who WOULDN'T enter into such a "partnership" with JBI??

Are the folks at RKT still "giddy" with excitement?

Below is a post I wrote more than three months ago, and of course it received negative evaluations from some of the other posters. I mentioned I would check in every three months to see how the "project" is progressing.

So, how is the Jacksonville project "progressing"?

I'll try simplifying and being very clear.

There will be no construction of any combution chamber/pyrolitic device on any RKT landfill. 3 months from now, 3 years from now, 9 years from now, NEVER.

There won't be any concrete poured, no physical anything done. No transportation of any construction materials, NADA NADA NADA

The agreement with RKT commits neither party to anything. Further, all expenses for any work done on the "project" would be contractually born by JBI.

IMO, it's purpose was to confuse the naive into thinking a major shared project was under way, and it seemed to accomplish this pretty well, at least for the last 19 months or so ... "to confuse" for what purposes? ... that's for scholars of the OTC to explain.
