WEST - GREAT Timing for a Rally Now ... The hourly chart (below) shows a normal Fibonacci price correction unfolding under Oversold conditions and there is a nice BULL Flag on the daily chart. All that spells rally to me. We should see support take hold and a buying spree unleashed here. WEST - 60 min Candlesticks
TWO GOOD (Low Priced) BUYs TODAY - WEST & FTWR (in my opinion of course) are both looking like very good trades right now. See my comments at the links below:
WEST - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=71483703
FTWR - http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=71484804
MVIS, a monthly pincher formation so it should break out at some point in time.
How are ya getting 444? can you draw some lines on chatrs? TIA

MNDO, in my opinion is looking a little top heavy at the moment. If you look at the weekly chart and daily charts there appears to be every indication that we could see a continued price correction off the highs seen on the weekly chart from around April of 2011. That would imply a potential third leg down (perhaps to the 200 week moving average) which would be a normal thing under Elliot Wave theory. The hourly chart confirms that a price correction is underway but, to what extent that correction will be is yet undetermined. Both the daily and hourly charts are looking very bullish so it is also possible that with a normal Fibonacci correction here the bull market will continue and a rally will ultimately reach new highs above those of April 2011. In any case, with all three charts showing indices in the Overbought area, it's not a good time to buy now. If I had a position in this stock, as a swing trader, I would be taking profits and looking to see if firm support returns following this correction. This is one case where looking at the fundamental data on a company can actually provide you with some valuable clues as to the possible direction of the stock's price. With a very modest P/E ratio of only 9 times earnings, I would now expect that a normal Fibonacci correction will ensue and the bull market should continue. If it should not, then perhaps the smart money knows something I do not and I would have to take a cautious stance on the sidelines. But, it certainly was a great buy below $0.40 for anyone who was following it back then and it's an interesting one to keep an eye on for future growth. Thanks for the tip!
Also look at MNDO... dividend payment mid february... Stock always heads north before the div payment!!
In west already, thanks! Check out BNVI... GLTU
WEST (Westinghouse Solar) should be on your radar screen - http://www.westinghousesolar.com/
I really like this stock for long term possibilities. Currently trading around $0.70, the stock is forming a V-bottom formation and I expect it to ultimately rise above $1.20 and support there. Then after a consolidation period I believe it will rise more slowly to $2.50. If the price breaks $2.50 and supports there, the sky is the limit for this one. I'm expect a price correction to perhaps $0.62 (maybe even as low as $0.54) but, if it does not come, it won't surprise me. V-bottom formations often have a mind of there own
WEST - Weekly Candlesticks
WEST - Daily Candlesticks
FTWR & SATC ... The FTWR weekly chart shows a possible market bottom but, after the price Gaped significantly lower out of a symmetrical triangle on the hourly chart yesterday. I would wait and see where the market finds support before taking a position. Usually large gaps down are very bearish.
SATC is currently a strong BEAR market that has been well contained by the 20-day moving average and does not show any signs of reversing at this time.
MVIS may break out here .40 falling
WOW! Well, I guess I would have bet wrong on this one. I was right about the significant breakout. I should have mentioned that the breakout from a symmetrical can go in either direction. I actually took a position yesterday at $0.36 expecting it to go the other way. But, when I could see that it was not moving, I sold it at $0.37 thinking I would try again today. I'll tell you this. Swing trading like I do, has saved me a lot of money over the years. If the market does not do what I expect it to immediately, I just get out with a small profit or loss and wait. When in doubt, stay out. Good rule to follow!
Looks like they {New Management] are now working for some sort of resolution for Stakeholders and I assume they need to be on the Nasdaq to raise capital later this year.
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- FiberTower Corporation (NASDAQ: FTWR - News), a wireless backhaul services provider, today announced that it has engaged the Corporate Finance & Restructuring Group of FTI Consulting, Inc., to assist the Company with identifying and evaluating financial and strategic alternatives to maximize value for the Company's stakeholders.
This is what I don't like!!!!
The Company has the right to appeal the Nasdaq staff's determination to suspend trading in the Company's securities and its delisting and deregistration from Nasdaq, but does not expect to do so. Effective Monday, January 30, 2012 the Company anticipates that its common stock will commence trading under the symbol FTWR on the OTC Pink-Limited Information Tier, operated by OTC Markets Group. The Company's common stock will cease trading on Nasdaq at the opening of the market on Monday, January 30, 2012.
Not GOOD OTC???????
Looks like might have to wait to see whats really going on come June and 11/15/12 when notes are due.I ain't selling. We will be required to repay any Notes due 2012 that are not redeemed or converted prior to maturity for 125.411% of their principal amount, or $37.7 million. We are accreting the principal premium ratably over the six-year period from inception until the Notes due 2012 mature and are recognizing such accretion as additional interest expense. The effect of this accretion is to increase the effective yield to the holders to 12% per annum based on the par value of the Notes due 2012. The effect of the accretion related to the interest payments made by the issuance of additional notes is to increase the effective yield to the holders from 12% to approximately 13% per annum.
Hi dmlabuda, it is interesting to read Your posts. Im learning trading. What do you think of Ftwr and satc for the near future?
I concur on FTWR, I'm watching a large symmetrical triangle on the hourly price chart (below) that appears to be forecasting a large upside breakout with the potential to reach or surpass the 200 day SMA.
By-the-way, thanks for the invite, looks like a very interesting board.

FTWR Monthly Chart play
Long term chart play
You like to see the month close up from today closer to the ma-5. First you may re-test the .25 if not good. You like to see a swing up on 1-19-12 and a swing down to close out week. New week swing up and like to see the month close to the ma-5 on this monthly chart or close to the area above previous resistance. If this pattern plays out you’re setting up a bullish intraday break out and will continue to run the chart. Either way as long as you come up to close the mo out will be very good.. If history repeats itself on the chart at least up to the strong flat line resistance of 4.82 or just below 3.20. Once you hold and support above 1.34. Least resistance from this point is up plus covering along with smart money buying.
Time shall tell but looks good with technical’s on the weekly and dally charts. This hold true the chart will improve as the PPS moves up.

Re: What else can go wrong here? Beside missing interest payment,CFO quitting, 12 minutes ago
All OLD NEWS that took us down WEEKS ago. Now I'll explain...=P
We CHOSE to miss interest payment. I think the 8K on 12/30/11 said we have 23 mil and the interest payment was only 1.3...It's called playing hard ball with the debtors who could have BK'd us for missing the payment YET THEY DIDN'T!!! Why is that?!? Well because FTWR is more valuable with it's assests operating and in use than being sold in BK.
Did you see what making the interest payment did for ENER? Look at a 10 day chart. It was .20 up to .30 4-5 days moved to .40, then .60 and on Friday PR's making interest payment. BUSTED a buck around 1.17 dipped into .90's and up into 1.30's most of today. FACT LOOK IT UP! Now what happens if FTWR makes that payment with the PR? Add a possible debt refi that wasn't even due til the end of 2012. Reduced workforce 40% saves money, and can be brought back if new contracts come our way.
CFO gone, but available if needed durning this transition...Sounds like a buyout with that wording.
Delisting...(LOL) 180 day extension already given last month. 5 more to get over a buck. We will probably do that before the end of January. AND STAY ABOVE.
Chart Makes ya think NG may have had its day with a obama win and if EPA comes out against fracking theres a short along with XOM who bought in at the top.

Very Excited on what I see taking place in our market place. Opportunity is knocking. For the shorterm long term major bad times ahead. Will talk about this in the chat and post hear later day.
Go Niners
"dose not matter on the stock follow the 3 & 5 min concept and buy 3 bar or better down on 2nd bounce am buys sell 1st move to 1st turn of moving average hit of the ma-20 in most cases. Mid day to evening buy swing sell at close or hold pending but not recomended at all in down market. Most buys for a good swing in down markets will be on a 3 day"
On which minute for possible 60 touch?
Wooops- Pats Denver were yesterday! I'm working too hard, possibly slipping, lol.
Now I can only read about it- grrr. My team won big, though- and also a admirer of Tebow.
What's not to like with those two!
MG
----------------
As it usually is when he's on, Tom Brady's first-half performance against the Denver Broncos in Saturday's second divisional round playoff game was ruthlessly efficient in a way that made the defense find it hard to breathe. And in all of his great games, Brady had never done what he did against the Broncos — he set an NFL record with five touchdown passes in a single half of playoff football. That put the Pats up 35-7 when the two teams took their locker room breaks, and it's safe to say that the Broncos weren't going to get any orange slices. The final score of 45-10 put a capper on a game that was, to dust off the old sporting cliche, nowhere near as close as the final score indicated.
It's not as easy as Brady made it look, but it was just about as robotic. A quick 7-yard slant to Wes Welker, a play-action deep route to Deion Branch (aided as it was by an uncalled offensive pass interference penalty), and three touchdowns to the absolutely unbeatable Rob Gronkowski, who seemed to be trying to top what was the greatest season for a tight end in NFL history.
[ Photo gallery: Tom Brady, Patriots lay waste to Broncos ]
If anyone thought that Brady was the "other" quarterback in this game, they just got a slap-upside-the-head reminder of just how the NFL's food chain really works.
"It's the same guys in there on defense and there are some of the same schemes," Brady said of the Denver defense he last faced in Week 15. In that game, the Broncos got out to a 16-7 lead before Brady waxed them with 27 unanswered points. "There are definitely some new wrinkles that they've added to what they're doing that we have to be able to prepare for. But the way the team has played the course of the entire season, you don't go into these games and think, 'Oh, let's change it up.' You get to this point for playing a certain style. They're going to continue to play their style - what they think they do very well. And we're going to try to do the things that we do well. "
Meanwhile, Brady amassed an amazing series of totals in the game's first 30 minutes this time — 18 of 25 for 246 yards and those five scores. Meanwhile, Tim Tebow completed three of 10 passes for 28 yards — yes, he had two fewer completions than Brady had touchdowns.
As CBS' Dan Marino said during the game's halftime show, "The only way the Denver Broncos have a chance of coming back is if Brady goes and plays for the Broncos."
Brady threw a sixth touchdown -- this one to tight end Aaron Hernandez -- in the third quarter, and then the Patriots scoring machine seemed to slow down. The last quarterback to throw six touchdowns in a postseason game was San Francisco's Steve Young in Super Bowl XXIX against the San Diego Chargers.

Sunday funnies..
Abe and Esther are flying to Australia for a two-week vacation to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Suddenly, over the public address system, the Captain announces, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I am afraid I have some very bad news. Our engines have ceased functioning and we will attempt an emergency landing. Luckily, I see an uncharted island below us and we should be able to land on the beach. However, the odds are that we may never be rescued and will have to live on the island for the rest of our lives!"
Thanks to the skill of the flight crew, the plane lands safely on the island. An hour later Abe turns to his wife and asks, "Esther, did we pay our $5,000 PBS pledge check yet?"
"No, sweetheart," she responds.
Abe, still shaken from the crash landing, then asks, "Esther, did we pay our American Express card yet?"
"Oh, no! I'm sorry. I forgot to send the check," she says.
"One last thing, Esther. Did you remember to send checks for the Visa and MasterCard this month?" he asks.
"Oy, forgive me, Abie," begged Esther. "I didn't send that one, either."
Abe grabs her and gives her the biggest kiss in 40 years. Esther pulls away and asks him, "What was that for?"
Abe answers, "They'll find us!"

A customer sent an order to a distributor for a large amount of goods totaling a great deal of money.
The distributor noticed that the previous bill hadn't been paid. The collections manager left a voice-mail for them saying, "We can't ship your new order until you pay for the last one."
The next day the collections manager received a collect phone call, "Please cancel the order. We can't wait that long."
Hello WEALTH BUILDERS board. Enjoyable Sunday, and Brady vs Tebow tonight!
IMO Coal ain't finished yet as big money needs their money back,I think the latest EPA press release about fracking is a red flag not to be invested in NG just yet or not to hold overnite at least.Goldman is short and probably most other big players,I think it [ANR] plays out to 32 to 36 sometime this year.
http://www.etfchannel.com/lists/?a=stockholdings&symbol=KOL
OK, thought it might be that WLT is primarily met coal and the demand has dropped by the economic situation worldwide.
I'm thinking power coal is dead in the water. No new coal fired power plants are being planned/authorized. Cleaning up coal is an impossible task. The costs involved are way too high compared to benefits.
All coal until the EPA gave them [coal burning power plants] untill I believe June or July to formulate plans for cleaner burning.Natural Gas is turning so both should be in play along with oil.
Wow, Is the drop in WLT typical of all coal or peculiar to WLT?

Technical Analysis is the forecasting of future financial price movements based on an examination of past price movements. Like weather forecasting, technical analysis does not result in absolute predictions about the future. Instead, technical analysis can help investors anticipate what is "likely" to happen to prices over time. Technical analysis uses a wide variety of charts that show price over time.
Technical Indicators are the often squiggly lines found above, below and on-top-of the price information on a technical chart. Indicators that use the same scale as prices are typically plotted on top of the price bars and are therefore referred to as "Overlays."
This section describes the various kinds of technical indicators and overlays that are available here at StockCharts.com.
