PSTR continues the climb on another high volume buying day
Come by the board and give a shout-out.
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=18753
I have recently settled on a strategy where I pick big board stocks that I think are oversold, ready for a rebound, and with long term potential. If I've chosen well, I sell half of my position at a 30%-40% profit with the intention of holding the remaining 60%-70% for the long term at a safe cost basis, performance pending, of course. Pretty basic stuff, really
My current focus is on domestic onshore oil and gas. There are many good beaten down stocks in the sector and I believe that there is a winning lottery ticket hidden here in the form of significant future foreign supply disruptions.
How did you compile the list that you posted?
How long do you hold a trade in general?
Great list! For an investor like me who is focusing on domestic energy with a focus on oil. Thanks!

Was right about FAZ but my nerves are wracked,I'll check in with ya in the AM.
Waiting to see you back too Recog man...hope all is going well...
take care,
DMW
In a week or so.....
Whats shaking? Back to the blog yet?
Well FAZ was a good trade for the moment except I sold at 41....sfd
Went back into ANR.
Well I have been seeing the crises but just not ready just yet. This market will soon tell that story and if it dose break the up side the short time will be way down the road can be 2015 to 2016 just way to early to judge for the long term. Have to watch the short term for now and at this point looks like up for now. Will see this unfold and a better look to see this out come next month or so. Just trade this market.
Thanks...Any good ones to put on watch that are weeks out of or close to the zone?
Nice now your catching on.
Made almost 20k on ANR last 4 weeks,[in and out 3 to 5 times a day]heard talk of a divy on it.
I've been holding up for a while. Permission to carry on?
hold up.... I am in Texas...

There you have it, BAC LOD at $5.13 in the AM. Will she go lower later?

YW Its a good tool for the toolbox
Thanks for sharing that--never seen that site before, looks great!!
Awesome site. I remeber using this before but way better now.
Going to add this to the site.
Your welcome. I have lots of sites on my alerts board..and stickies
Glad you posted this site, I need some help with the trendlines, and this shows them clearly. Thx. Rose from Geaux's board.
Where do ya think gold settles at,I wouldn't mind getting some at bottom prices? GBE....They need it back to a buck, think it backfills .38ish?
TIA
Do you think BAC will do the opposite of gold? That 5.50 range is getting close, found some support in the 7's.
Down she comes--- then up she goes again long range forcast 8- 12K per ounce.
Look like it will have that final spike to upper trend line next week. Then down she comes.
Gold is almost topped out on a monthly/weekly,thats probably why they raised margin requirements.
Shes getting close for the top as the 200 ma lines up with the low I expect the fall to slowly start cracking over. When you see that ma-20 overlay above the 70 yard mark with the RSI 14 it is in a danger zone.
Will be back in Monday 8/8/11
Afternoon Geaux Fish, per your request I marked your post #msg-56370529 from nine months ago pertaining to the movement and price of Gold.
My point being then, and still is, that there are many factors at play effecting the price of Gold. As with any commodity, if you can figure out what factors influence it's pricing, then you can gage and estimate it's responsive movement in combination with the charts. They are all tools for the job of attempting to forecast the future movement.
That being said nothing has changed from my post to you in reference to Gold pricing - #msg-56370529
If anything, it has gotten much worse which will effect Gold "More" to the upside. Gold is being sought as a safe haven and now with even more of a uncertain future, Gold will break 2000 here in the not too distant future.
Now you can mark my post...lol
World economies are collapsing, political upheaval covers the entire planet, it's an uncertain time period fraught with struggles in every sector and corner of the market.
Because of this, Gold will continue to be sought out and accumulated, more so, than any other form of wealth protection.

Hey,is the blog still going?
Took it at 3.11 and added during the day. Thanks
Sold almost all freddie, will re-evaluate if it breaks .41 or the 200.
Watching FTWR for 1.05,BAC 6 to $7 and SIFY for 5.53
Missed CDTI and a few others and WEST is still causing pain.
Well from the looks of the long term previous pattern. It looks to maybe do .60 very soon and consolidate again and it could be next Jan before it makes the next big advance, This is based on the upper long term trend and the time frame it would meet for another advance move.
The pattern I see is 3 mo as I said previously with a spike and a year in-between the big moves.
Daily Trend hit bottom side yesterday.
Geaux FMCC-- do you still see any upside for this???? $2 in May didnt happen? looks to be going nowhere but down

Technical Analysis is the forecasting of future financial price movements based on an examination of past price movements. Like weather forecasting, technical analysis does not result in absolute predictions about the future. Instead, technical analysis can help investors anticipate what is "likely" to happen to prices over time. Technical analysis uses a wide variety of charts that show price over time.
Technical Indicators are the often squiggly lines found above, below and on-top-of the price information on a technical chart. Indicators that use the same scale as prices are typically plotted on top of the price bars and are therefore referred to as "Overlays."
