"Glad I bought 2 days ago, at the bottom, but now its 150% higher. sorry I didn't post before" -- ugh that shit annoys me to no end. The sole reason for this type of post is to gloat, adds zero value, and makes me think you're generally a fake. If you *did* buy 2 days ago, it removes the need to add "glad I bought"..
"Glad I bought"
Yeah, I bet you are, buddy.
Not sure why I didn’t think of this before but I’m bringing scans back in the form of finviz watchlist links, since stock charts didn’t like all the direct images in each post. Finviz doesn’t do OTC though so -no big loss to me anyway

nice one. this one was an earnings winner if i recall correctly
With Zero commissions, there's no reason to go all in on any stock. People say you should trade robotic, without emotions -- obviously this is true to an extent, but I believe rather than fighting something that's impossible to do, give in to it. With zero commissions, if you're feeling the urge to buy in, and we all know that feeling, that FOMO, take a quarter size position. If it doesn't start to work, you may have done something wrong. But, you're atleast not completely screwed on it. Give it some room, decide if its going to work or if your initial thesis was correct, then add a little more. And if it doesn't do what you thought, you can take an exceptionally smaller loss.
To fight greed, when a big winner is in your hands, take some off the table. Not necessarily half. A quarter -- a third. So in order to fight your emotions while trading, you have to give yourself a little room. That general philosophy on trading unemotionally and robotic is b.s.
Last but not least, ignore these dumb fucks who sit on single stock boards day in and day out. They, without realizing what they're doing, are trying to suck you in into their losing mindset. It's like a cigarette smoker who loves handing out smokes to their nonsmoking friends. Cut them loose.
So apparently my ihub alias isn't something people take seriously. "dead... jim? Like morrison? the doors?" It's an obvious reference to star trek, for anybody who you know, follows star trek. I've noticed though that a lot of people prefer some kind of an alias that represents stocks, the market, trading, investing. FASTMONEY, BIGBUCKS, HARDONFORCASH.
I guess I'm above it, because those names make me think: FLYBYNIGHT. Here one day, gone the next.
But I'll consider a name change.
Programming for stock analysis --- I've found yahoo finance and most brokers don't really have accurate O/S info being displayed. I've developed a simple tool that goes out to the latest 10-Q and pulls out the first mention of outstanding share count and displays it. It allows me to view o/s in multiple companies, fairly rapidly. So I'm looking to add on to this tool. I can pull news, but thats already easily displayed.
Are there any repeated tasks that you do in your stock research that may be able to be automated?
You crack me up!! F’in funny shit
I’m a little tired and worn, from trading alongside people who have yet to learn any valuable trading lessons yet, who try to come off as if they have it all figured out - only to watch their shit stocks collapse into nothing, while they act as if they’re still correct. Ihub is literally the garbage dump of stocks with dumpster fire people trading them.
I would still like to bring value in the form of not being a worthless piece of shit, but I fear I’m vastly outnumbered here.
You have to detach yourself from the company vs the ticker else it just screws you up. You'll see things that aren't there. They say don't marry your stocks for a reason - and it's to prevent the rose colored glasses effect. The fundamentals make sense in your head but the stock plays against it. Something doesn't add up, but you'll justify holding on.
I'm not immune to it either but I find that if I give two shits about the company its way easier to be patient in finding entries and taking gains off the table.
Anybody ever think of OTC stocks each as little mini bubbles? They say a "bubble" is exuberant highs, goes higher than people think is possible, for longer than any short can remain solvent, but all come crashing back down to earth, usually doing more economic harm than necessary. If you look at a chart of the Tulip bubble, Bitcoin, 2000 era tech -- They all look like most longer term OTC stocks that had a run. That's because they're ALL SHIT, but also because that's simply how momentum in general DIES.
People will always argue, "YeaAH but XYZ went to $29 so suck on that, idiot!" and completely ignore that the statistics on that happening is EXTREMELY RARE and there are clues you can look for when identifying a runner.
Here's a long term BITCOIN chart. The similarities to any of your OTC runners should be obvious.
So when people say "Looks like a pump and dump!" Well, yeah, thats' because pump and dumps are BUBBLES, too. But if you look at a chart like that and all you can think of are boiler rooms then you probably need to get out more.
So is bitcoin getting ready to run from down here? Sure looks like a potential bottom, and the crowd thinks bitcoin is DONE FOR. So might be worth a shot. $GBTC
CBD stocks mostly in consolidation since last pullback. thinking this will be giant once numbers start coming in. run up potential going into 2qtr, since 4qtr only shows growth from december (just in time for christmas, too)
have a handful of stocks. doesn't take much to find them so good luck.
Penny traders pretty much make me hate ihub. Make mistake/repeat mistake/remain in denial til 0/make mistake/lie repeatedly about ones trading history
Being honest about mistakes is the only way to overcome. You have to have liability to someone: yourself, your wife/husband, close friends.
I’ve deleted all the noise off my lists. Also stockcharts doesn’t like me spamming symbols so I have to figure something else out here

Pot Stocks - Updating this list with the current marijuana stocks. I'm pulling the symbols off this site: https://marijuanaindex.com/marijuana-stock-universe/
If anybody has a better site with more marijuana stocks let me know.
Exactly.. but I was kidding anyway : )
But you never know where the top or bottom is so I gradually scale in and out.
I react to the market instead of trying to predict it.
Toofuzzy
Just sell the highs and if it’s not high enough yet, just wait until it is.
I once thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.
I just sell as something as something goes up and buy as it goes down.
Toofuzzy
I'm still waiting for all these great traders list......fake chit
I've hit plenty of homeruns in my day,,,everyone trades differently.. your style is not everyone else's lol
I do trade scared. Anybody whose assets consist of cash should trade scared. What’s the opposing argument there? Trade like your next trade will make you a million?? Doesn’t work that way.. gotta bat small to hit homeruns.
U prefer honest people ????? Lmao your looking on the wrong IHub site to find that...
Then your not sharing your greatness,,,,do u know what that means ??? Your a scared trader and want to find fault in others....., wannabee
Sometimes I do suck, sometimes I am the greatest trader ever. How’s that saying go: you’re only as good as your last trade. The only thing in markets that’s for certain is that nothing is for certain
Put them up here..... that's cause u have none.. no good trader in these cesspools would tell u anything...... I'm calling u out not fake trader..put up all the so called traders that have told u this
If your so worried about what I say u must suck at this lol...
Don’t worry you didn’t make the cut. At least not yet. I prefer honest people
List all these great traders
Is that right ???.. put their names up here
The best traders that I know are automatically and without hesitation open to discussing strategies. It’s almost as if they have nothing to hide.
U can call out whoever u want lol....
I’m fine trading on my own.. but when I come across know it all fake gurus like yourself who say things like “I either get .30c or i retire” then guess what, I’m going to call your fake ass out
That's wonderful.. go patent your tool
So your saying the best traders should openly tell u all their mistakes,,losses, wins, trading stratedies,,trading philosophy's, etc ,etc........ took years for traders as such to accomplish what they have...put some dam work in and stop asking for handouts .. that's a fake trader
I find the page-down key is useful in these threads for a quick visual scan of all the charts. Don't waste time studying a play if the pattern is not there
Edit: 10/1/14 I am currently revamping the structure of the scan posts!!
The most money can be made by someone who can sit tight and is right more often than not.
