I’m not cleaning up ihub - I’m developing a tool to weed out noisy fake traders. I have all the data I need going back 1, 2, 10+ years
I agree. I’ve found that people who refuse to discuss what they look for, how they handle both winners and losers, are usually hiding something. And in this cesspool it’s best to cut down noise. Regardless of what you think, being human means making mistakes. So either you openly admit to making mistakes and can discuss how you handle that side of trading, or you’re fake.
Your beef is with fake traders ??? What is a fake trader ??? So many wannabes on IHub talking like such..I told ya so,,u should have listened to me,,look at my strategy......plenty to say but afraid to stick their neck out.... maybe u should clean up that part of IHub lol
No trader owes u their strategies......your suppose to find your own...but that's what piggybackers do
I have nothing to say to “the melting board”.. my beef is with fake traders. Either talk strategy or put me on ignore. Cause right now you’re as fake to me as clay trader
Of course u do lol
Only board I watch is Bounce cause I know for a fact the guys there trade for a living and aren’t full of shit.
Lmao,, those top few pages are how u make money lol....start throwing out all your wonderful plays since u seem to think you r genius level... u can post them all on the Melting Pot..u know the place where u lurk lol
The top few pages of most followed for sure.
And now your going to clean up IHub ???? Wow good luck lol
Here's a trait of a fake guru on ihub -- When they're wrong, they disappear and don't acknowledge their mistakes or that they were wrong, particularly after spending weeks or months justifying their exuberantly bullish stock position. Who does that?? That's what I'm going to expose from this worthless community
This new tool will let me more closely analyze what people are posting good information and who is posting worthless information. Best of all I’ll have actual track records of posters
Fake gurus have infested ihub. And they’re mostly on otc stocks. Every now and then you come across a humble kid who knows he can never know everything. They’re the type who can succeed. The know it all types who only know how to buy should be avoided because their opinions will screw with your own! Ihub should be avoided. But I plan on making it a bit more transparent. Although these tools should BE apart of what they provide you. Although it would destroy the community, or perhaps improve it. Perhaps I can help change that.
having some design issues. how do i display the info back to the viewer? in order to make it aesthetic, i'd prefer to have a daily chart that you can select all posts from that day to view. but - not sure how to create a graph in c# and getting stock open/low/close/high data is a separate entity from display user content on specific timeframes of a stock. so next step would be decide how to display it back.
Sounds good to me
Thanks, bud. I find this place hard to stomach sometimes
I feel like I lose IQ every time I read ihub. The way people act about making money is almost reminiscent of, oh I don’t know, a market bubble on the verge of collapse any year now? Seriously, wash away all the children and people will just produce more. I’m working on some scripts that will expose the idiots.
Probably one of the best posts I've read on Ihub!!!!!! Yup still here and always respect you keeping it "REAL"
Some of you who know me know that I'm an amateur programmer. I've been thinking of ways to apply it to stocks and ihub. But most of my solutions are easily replicated by inserting a bunch of stocks into the finviz stock search.
So what I'm thinking of doing is this:
Using it to weed out loud posters on ihub. To do this:
I'll break down their posts on a stock by date and time along with the chart in question. Might help weed through some of the damn loud mouths around iHub. And the next time someone starts questioning me if I'm telling the truth or not, I can simply break out the "here's your last 30 stocks and the times you posted on them" app. How do people feel about that? Anybody even still around?
Terrible advice that is widely accepted by penny players. 99% of all OTC stocks lose money eventually, yet 90% of the boards have someone stating "know what you own".. Math doesn't add up. If you consider and treat the stock market as a casino and gambling, your chance for failure is 100%.

Here are some other gems that make no sense:
1. This penny stock is a not a true penny stock
2. This penny stock is rare
3. Weak hands are selling
4. going to $1
5. Set GTC at $10
6. shorts. too many phrases involving this one.
7. buyers need to step in. (well no kidding. if there were buyers your stock wouldn't be acting like a POS right? chicken/egg)
Thanks man, I'm gonna hang on both, the rs got me the other day while I wasn't watching.... Just how it goes. Hope tomorrow pans out better!! Should be in my office half a day instead of shop all day. Thanks, T
GIGL.. yeah reversal for a move higher. 60 min reversal in there and 5 minute getting poppy. SFOR.. no clue man. I lost a huge gain on it. Only reason im out is because it was trying go red on my position. I think it bounces but never know with these
And yes, "know what you own" is about as brilliant as "we all need to do some ask slapping" imo. ;) , T
Hey deadjim,
I saw your post about Gigl reversal, I'm still sitting on my free shares (.0451 avg). I assume you mean reversal back up... but you know what happens when I assume.... and have you looked at Sfor at all?
Ive got a bit of that (.0157avg) and got shell shocked 2 days in a row when I had 2 seconds to look at TD. Wondering if I should have dumped today. If you have a sec can you give me your thoughts?
I like being busy at work, but I cant follow whats going on with my trades....(not that that always helps) Thanks, T
Got out this morning at 2.71 took $400 hit. Shit happens, wouldnt have had I had time to check last week. What happens when youre "part time" lol NEXT!!! GL , T
No time to watch today, try to bail Monday I guess, or hang for a little and Hope for a bounce. Had sell orders set just never got there. Win some lose some??
Hope you made it out ok on GBSN. So annoying they filed the split so soon. Figured they let the momentum continue. Maybe this time they'll get rid of their debt with the next dump. Ended up with loss on a medium size position. Had a chance to trade it for a win, just one for the books i guess.
I bet they'll use the fda approval to hype the price after the approval for the dump
Lol, Cool, I must not be old yet....lol . T
Nah, totally different guy. Old men all seem to talk like that online. I traded with a guy out of L.A. and same thing: short hand, riddles
Hey deadjim, Not sure if you know for sure, but is 8athero on mxsg board who I think it is? From lb## board a long time ago?? The riddles seem the same. T
missed that by a long shot. pretty impressed it held up here.. watch it closely. but don't lose on it!
Thinking .05-.04c area for bounce. If its any good maybe even rally back up to those highs after a few weeks. But i seriously doubt it. But you never know
Nice trade.
Im wondering where it'll bounce. Also curious if OS increased at all. TA is gagged. Look at USRM posters.. many guys there will hold til the end.
Bailed all the rest of my USRM today @ .11 to .09 Still did ok in @ .0431 . Got nervous and Bailed on ICLD today too .0248in .0309 out. Totally missed ICLD .0869 high, thought it would go back but wasnt lookin good. Increased SFOR & MFST lookin for something new. GL, T
The whole mind at ease is GOOD!!! Wish you could set trailing stops on otc but o well, selling 1/2 is a good option!! Cheers, T
Very nice. Yeah i stared at GIGL like an idiot knowing what it was doing at .03s but didnt pull trigger until the breakout. Bought 8s, sold half at .16s... riding half is the best strategy. Puts your mind at ease and if it works out, the position becomes large again
deadjim, I dont have private messaging si I'll reply here hope you see it. I been kinda following LTT since i was readind the mexus board & read about Owcp. Ive been checking out his picks and reading what I can and pretty much deciding to start positions, have sell orders in on everything Im holding for at least 50%of position for a double is my new rule im trying to follow. Ive got some SFOR at .0137, some FNHI @ .0241 a lot (for me) of MFST @ .00512 , and Giggle , man I got at .0451 . Best Ive ever done, trying to be more disiplined on setting sells as soon as I buy and being realitic in what im shooting for.... although I usually start to high and have to come down a bit. As always apreeciate your help!! GL , T
Sounds like youve got it pretty well thought out. I'd be interested in trying it. Most watch lists dont allow for notes, at least none of the ones I use. That in itself would be handy. T
I'm developing some apps. Id like to know what people would like to see in a trading app. Basically this would be your own personal application that you would use for viewing daily winners and losers, movers, watchlists, maybe notes on symbols, text tools such as finding symbols in articles, storing and keeping track of symbols from months ago - for example it could store a list of symbols and alert you when it hits a daily winner, etc.
If you have any ideas feel free to share.
If it went back to 1.36 area its no good. Otherwise, its one badass move.. Also has a gap at 1.85 to protect you. Really shouldn't come to get you but you're in it right at a support area so it could hit you and reverse. Where to sell? If you feel you're up too much, there's nothing better to calm you than to taking a partial gain off the table and riding the rest to see where it goes. Its something you'll never master
Hey Jim have you looked at NAK lately? Im in there at 1.46 avg and wondering when to get out. Need an experts help!!
Got it, thanks.. Been a while since I traded this and time to start paying more attention, interesting times coming.
Rising wedge on low volume overnight on the futures, glt
nah 30min is perfect. I actually like the 60min but I look at daily/4hr also. then zoom it in on 5min for entry
$PTN see previous post -- check 60min. price is tightening up here. PDUFA in august
$DSKX charts: best bounce candidate I see out there
Firstly it's a breakout chart. Perhaps that high is as high as it'll ever go in the short-medium term but this type of chart tends to bounce after it pulls hard
Secondly, it's down 50% off its highs fairly quickly and when they begin to speed up to the downside, capitualization takes shape.
Thirdly, Some fibs point right at this area for loading zone as well as it being price support on the chart
$GRO thinking this one can pop, re: Moves with $SEED. needs to hold/trade/close over 1.40
I find the page-down key is useful in these threads for a quick visual scan of all the charts. Don't waste time studying a play if the pattern is not there
Edit: 10/1/14 I am currently revamping the structure of the scan posts!!
The most money can be made by someone who can sit tight and is right more often than not.
