I just love this board and use it all the time to look up info.Just thought Id let all the Mods know how cool it is to have this board.
Only looked at their filings briefly...LJ
OTCM doesn't care about SOS registrations......they want current information........and their FEES.......lol..
But an SOS update is a very good sign that the company is doing something.....sometimes it takes awhile, but you can be pretty sure that she's gonna pop. If you miss the first pop on a reinstatement .....you can wait for the price to drop way down again....(or if you're in, average down) to get in.....in a few months whatever they have intended will become apparent with new filings, etc.....
PS. I copied your post over there
..z
So here is a question. When a company/shell on the pink sheets pretty much goes off the radar and their corporate status is revoked etc.....the first step to getting back on track with OTCMarkets is filing with their state SOS right? PRESUMABLY then what would follow is a filing afterwards with OTC once they have their good standing in hand in order to bring everything up to par.
The case with CBJG, perhaps they retired or cancelled some shares somehow? Something to keep an eye on that is for sure. They had some good stuff in the works a while back with organic fertilizer and glass recycling. They also have an investment in a minor movie, and own some land in I think Cambodia.
Do these kinds of changes when the SOS is updated possibly indicate a pending reverse merger?
(EDIT)
I just noticed on the stick post the sister board for this question so I tried to bring it over there but I CANT post the questions there because I am not a paid member and it will only let paid members post. Could someone maybe copy this post and bring it over there? I also was wondering if they could update that board so you dont have to scroll down a ton of 2010 companies
Wonder if Cbjg left off a zero or two in the filing for authorized or some reverse split info?...
last filing from a spell ago showed more shares out than they filed as authorized...LJ

I think the AS, OS and float should be posted by the transfer agents at least once a week. Daily would be better
If the SEC made this a requirement it would stop cold many penny scams. There is no reason this couldn't be done at no expense to the SEC and minimal expense to the transfer agents.
I agree. It is free in most states. Only a few charge.
A bunch of BS i think.... this info should be free dammit!
If you call them and ask nicely, they'll usually tell you. At least if you only ask about one at a time. Otherwise, they'll charge you $20 a pop to send the information online.
If they're reporting companies, though, you'll find that information in their Qs and Ks.
Get the file number searching here.
https://delecorp.delaware.gov/tin/GINameSearch.jsp
Try calling them, use option "0"
http://corp.delaware.gov/contact.shtml
They used to have a web chat option but that doesn't seem to be there anymore.
They used to give that info out over the phone for no charge. that may have changed.
Hello > i am holding a lot of DE listed stock , how can a found out ther A/S

Great board! marked. Might try and include this in future postings.
Thanks, actually didn't expect to see public info readily available on-line...LJ
Apparently a search can not be done online:

creede/anyone..........can you help me update TEXAS..........they changed the page and cant find it
Saw this post on FASC on SOS Changes board. I think it illustrates something which I occasionally stumble on, a reinstatement of a stock that has kept current in it's SEC filings (OTCQB) and yet they didn't keep filing annual reports with SOS, going into default. You would think the cost of the SEC filings would be significantly more than the cost of the SOS update. Any speclation as to why a company stays current in it's reporting obligatonsm and is on the OTCQB but is in default with the SOS?
Very true on reinstatements, not always a good thing, some people blindly push them as if they are. That said yosako, thanks for the information on GPGD, will take a closer look.
Rather difficult to figure out what they actually do. Or claim to do.
Tomatoes.
Dunno, got it from this post: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=66082460
lol, what kind of stuff are they going to acquire in Peru?
Seems like they're going to acquire stuff in PERU, someone called IR (check its board!)
Well then, no hijacking.
Management is the same, and GPGD itself isn't a shell.
Noticed Jasmine EKA Karya Inc. changed name to Jasmine EKA Karya Ltd, dunno why.
Maybe no one's noticed yet. Reinstatement isn't always a good thing. Sometimes it signals a hijacking...
If reinstatement is the king of stock movers, why $GPGD is sleeping it up? I posted my DD at its board.
I just tried it and it worked.
creede...colorado doesnt seem to be working anymore... at least when i click it... it sends me the dreaded 404 message... maybe you could take a look and give 'er a fix if needed... tia
Thanks joby. It was an excellent post and thus you certainly made the right call.
No problem! Glad I could help
Doing this is essential for penny trading, IMO. SOS activity (or inactivity) helps weed out at least a number of P&D runners and sometimes gives you hints so you can get in on a potential runner before the masses ;)
Just added it as a sticky for now, good idea, imo. Let creede decide since he's the head mod...
Great post, mods should make your post a sticky post to show others how to help themselves.
Thank you so much! great details.
Here's how you can figure out the SOS status for any stock symbol
1. Go to OTCMarkets.com and look the symbol up
2. Click on the "Company Info" section
3. Note the state under "Incorporated in"
4. Once you have the state, go here:
http://www.coordinatedlegal.com/SecretaryOfState.html
5. From the above link, find the link for said state's SOS search page, access it, and search for the company name. You should get a hit. Observe it and voila!
** If there is no "Incorporated in" line under "Company Info" on OTCMarkets, then get the state by clicking on the "Financials" section and looking at the last 10K, 10Q or 8K. The state will be listed under "State or other jurisdiction of incorporation"
** Companies also are known to re-domicile themselves to another state, and since the information on OTCMarkets.com is rarely updated, it would be wise to look at the latest 10K 10Q or 8K financials anyway, just to double-check as to what the jurisdiction state really is.
** Depending on the state, you may have to pay as much as $20 in order to see the SOS status and/or amendments. This is BS, IMO. This information should be free.
Hope this helped!
Yes i did, thanks. Would you mind helping me with EIHC? Thanks.
Thanks jeffn. Have a great Memorial Day.
Welcome to the thread. Seems you already have your answer.
