Just read that the Europeans can just increase reinsurance costs for all US trade by say 300%. CNN: Tesla sales plunged 13% in the first three months of this year, the largest drop in deliveries in its history, as backlash against CEO Elon Musk and growing competition took a large bite out of demand for its EVs.

Tesla reported Wednesday that it delivered 336,681 cars in the quarter, 50,000 fewer vehicles compared to the first three months of last year. The results were the company’s worst sales in nearly three years.

But last year, Tesla reported its first annual decline in sales, which accelerated in the first quarter. The plunge was worse than expected by Tesla analysts, who had forecast quarterly sales as low as 350,000.

A CNN poll last month found just 35% of Americans express a positive view of Musk, with 53% rating him negatively, making him both better known and more substantially unpopular than Vice President JD Vance (whom 33% of Americans rate favorably and 44% unfavorably.)

I know that is the MSM's story about Musk and Trump. But.... what if all this is wrong and instead, the U.S. is able to bring back many thousands of jobs to the U.S. What if more countries decide to lower their tariffs to a level that will be matched? I have no gloom and doom foisted by the MSM about the sky falling on Tesla and the rest of the world. Yes, the tariffs are not good for GM and F. But already other car companies are moving to build factories here. Mexico and Canada are the biggest losers in all of this as so much of their production for the U.S. is there. I know for a fact BTW that Telsa does have parts from Mexico in their Model Y.
Time will tell who is right.

Democrats Go After Humiliated Musk With Salute Attack Ad

Democrats are doubling down on attacks targeting Elon Musk by resurrecting his evocative straight-arm salute in an ad set for release in battleground states across the U.S.

The move comes after Musk’s humiliating attempt to win over voters in Wisconsin ended with a damning state Supreme Court defeat for conservative Brad Schimel.

The ad zeroes in on Musk’s feud with Senator Mark Kelly. The DOGE billionaire branded the retired astronaut and Navy vet a “traitor” after the lawmaker said the U.S. should “stand with Ukraine.”

The digital ad from 314 Action–a progressive advocacy group dedicated to getting Democrats with a scientific background elected–pays tribute to Kelly before complaining that Musk had taken “billions in federal funds” and was firing “thousands of our veterans.”

“It’s time to fire Elon Musk,” the ad concludes, showing footage of Musk making his controversial salute at Donald Trump’s inauguration rally.

Earlier, the ad says: “When America needed his courage to fly combat missions, Mark Kelly answered the call. An aerospace engineer, Mark Kelly led shuttle missions to space. When Arizona families, including his wife, were struck by violence, Mark Kelly listened and helped them heal.”

Kelly’s wife, Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, was shot in an assassination attempt in 2011.

“Elon Musk seems to think this is all just a joke—that he can say and do whatever he wants without consequences,” said Shaughnessy Naughton, president of 314 Action.

“Calling Navy veteran Senator Mark Kelly a ‘traitor,’ while delighting in firing thousands of honorable U.S. veterans from continuing their service, is a disgrace.

“Meanwhile, in between Nazi salutes and chainsaws, he’s enriching himself and his companies off government contracts. It’s beyond time to fire Musk,” she added.

Its release comes as the Democratic Party is celebrating the win in Wisconsin by liberal appellate Judge Susan Crawford on Tuesday. To complicate things further IF you even bring a tiny percent of manufacturing back to the US you have AI taking jobs (cheaper labor), pollution problems the current countries have to deal with even though environmental regulations were stripped away, and the cost to produce that same goods remains the same or goes even higher. Quality is yet another issue. Many of the things I buy from China are better quality than the same thing made here. Not just China though, this is globally. Made in USA doesn't really denote the same quality it once did unless you cherry pick Companys like Henry Firearms.

That is complete BS. They produced 30k more vehicles than sold. So whatever impact the switchover had did not impact production enough as they had more than enough vehicles to cover demand. Not to mention Tesla has close to 100k vehicles in inventory again so it could have sold those as well IF DEMAND WAS THERE.
Having said that, Q1 is usually Teslas worst sales quarter of the year so it should improve as the year progresses. However the global economy is weakening and war drums are increasing, so its hard to predict how things will progress. Tesla would need the US government to buy its vehicles like that 400m contract. Of course if the government did that it would be putting its people at great risk...just ask Ms Choa Sen. Mitch McConnell's sister in law.
The only way the switchover could have impacted Tesla is if a bunch of Tesla owners want the new Model Y because they believe they'll be safe...🤣. Already a new Model Y has suffered Whompy Wheel issue. The new model Y's will have all the same issues of its predecessors. Whompy Wheel issues, sudden acceleration issues, and spontaneous combustion issues. You cannot put your life in the hands of technology in a deteriorating EM environment like we have now. The earths magnetic field is weakening and becoming more chaotic. Things will only get worse as the years go on.

Theres video evidence suggesting that Ms Chao's Tesla glitched and drove her into the pond despite her intoxicated state.

The report said Chao left the lodge at 11:37 p.m. and, wrapped in a blanket, got in her Tesla. She apparently intended to drive to another house in the compound. Surveillance video shows the car lurching forward, then reversing over a limestone block wall at the edge of the pond.

Right there, the Tesla lurched forward suggesting that she had in fact put it into drive and then suddenly it reversed; this is not unlike the behavior of another Tesla accident ive posted that suddenly surged forward before reversing itself (included in second part of this post). That incident was also caught on camera but shared with the public. Incidentally the media blamed Electromagnetic interference as possible cause.
Its likely the lurch forward behavior before the accelerated reversing, combined with possible distance she reversed, likely prompted investigators to consider the accident to be strange from the onset. The "sudden" revelation that she was intoxicated would have been known by investigators within the first 24 hours but only recently confirmed by blood work. Used more to mislead the public from considering the Tesla was responsible for Chaos death.
It was recently revealed that Tesla is aware that outside forces can cause its vehicles to behave this way and Tesla believe its not responsible. It is responsible as long as it doesnt disclose to the public its vehicles can go out of control when exposed to EM radiation; usually during or days after a geomagnetic storm/unrest conditions.

Tesla argues it had no control in the crash and death which were "caused by a superseding and/or intervening force."

There you have it folks Tesla admits an outside force caused this Tesla to glitch and go out of control.

At least 12 complaints filed with the Department of Transportation and first reported by Business Insider are related to how Tesla vehicles are put into reverse. Seven users have reported confusion with the gearshift design, resulting in them sometimes putting the car into drive when they intended to shift to reverse, or vice versa. Five other complaints were from people who said their Teslas appeared to switch between drive and reverse without warning, according to Business Insider.

5 complaints have been filed with the DoT claiming their Teslas shifted themselves from drive to reverse without warning. I dont know if the following accident is one of those five, but below is video evidence of a Tesla lurching forward into a car as the driver attempted to park. Then the Tesla suddenly reverses itself and drives itself backwards until it hits a neighbor garage. This would be like Ms Chaos Tesla reversing into the Pond. Media indicated that EMI may have caused the accident as i have indicated may have also impacted Ms Chao's Tesla! EVs and especially Teslas are a danger to the public.

For an expert opinion, KXAN took the case to Dragan Djurdjanovic. A professor in mechanical engineering, Djurdjanovic looked into similar allegations against Tesla around 2008. The expert said it's very possible that electromagnetic interference between wires caused the accident.

Its EMI but not from inside the car. Instead its coming from outside the car which is why Teslas only go out of control like this during geomagnetic unrest. Also in 2008 it was Toyotas that were having problems with SUA.

Very much less than expected by close to 50k. Consensus had deliveries in the 370s while actual numbers were 330s. Wait until you see the losses on Teslas financials because it has a capacity to produce well over 500k cars yet sold only 67% of that. Fixed costs will eat at its revenue.
Not like reality matters to TSLA however. They can manipulate the stock any direction they want to. How is this even up today? Technically the stock should be valued below what it was before the Trump pump. That pump was done so the fallout of dropping sales kept the price higher.

TSLA is the biggest fake it until it makes it scam in the world. However when you have the might of the US and likely British MIC behind you theres nothing that can stop it until the people of the world WAKE UP!
