So who is going to be spreading the word on SLNX ahead? We are hating being down here again below .005.
WFEMF Buffett, Terrorists & China Control This Metal
Tungsten is one of the few metals where demand is expected to outpace supply in the coming years, and there is a potential treasure trove of profits to be made by miners of the metal. The massive profit potential, unfortunately, has even attracted organized crime to get involved with tungsten mining. The day after Christmas, Bloomberg reported that Colombia's government was preparing to seize a tungsten mine run by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). According to Bloomberg, "tungsten mined for the profit of FARC makes its way into the supply lines of the makers of BMWs, Ferraris, Porsches and Volkswagens, computers and BIC pens." Bloomberg continued "Apple Inc. and Samsung (005930) Inc. have also bought material from that tainted supply line. The parts are used for iPhones, iPads, iPods and Galaxy mobile devices." What does that say about the tungsten industry when a criminal enterprise is illegally mining the metal and somehow getting the ill-gotten commodity into consumer products?
Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Connection Warren Buffett is not a big commodity investor. He seeks revenue growth. In respect to gold, for example, Buffett sarcastically stated, "Gold gets dug out of the ground in Africa, or someplace. Then we melt it down, dig another hole, bury it again and pay people to stand around guarding it. It has no utility. Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head." Interestingly, it appears he feels quite differently about tungsten, a metal with enough practical demand to allow Mr. Buffett to see its investment worthiness. As recently as 2012, Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, through its IMC International Metalworking unit, agreed to invest $80 million in one of the world's largest tungsten mines, located in South Korea. In respect to Berkshire Hathaway's investment, Forbes contributor Eric Savitz wrote, "While the deal may come as a surprise to the outside world, those with knowledge of tungsten understand that it's a crucial but disappearing resource that continues to affect all of us."

Tungsten is a metal that is critical to modern life, but until now it has largely remained below the investment radar. However, when a legendary investor such as Warren Buffet- or at least a firm in which he has major stakes- invests in a tungsten project, the metal is bound to become a subject of growing interest.

NRTI cannabidiol news: Inergetics Completes Phase I Development of its Therapeutic CBD Line of Products
Date : 07/29/2014 @ 10:00AM
NEWARK, N.J., July 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Inergetics, Inc. (OTCBB: NRTI), a leading developer of nutritional supplements, today announced the successful completion of its first phase towards the formulation of its proprietary line of natural cannabidiol CBD-based nutritional supplements it is developing in partnership with Terra Tech Corp (OCTBB: TRTC). Research shows that cannabinoids have medical application for a range of conditions as varied as epilepsy, glaucoma, osteoporosis, anorexia, Alzheimer's disease and pain treatment.
Following the recent success of the CBD Medical Advisory Board meeting led by Inergetics' Chief Science Officer, Carl Germano, RD, CNS, CDN, Inergetics has successfully procured targeted cannabinoids from industrial hemp, cannabis and other unique dietary sources.
"This is a critical milestone for us in our quest to enter the marketplace as the gold standard of cannabinoid supplements," says Germano. "Innovation in cannabinoid extraction from food sources other than cannabis and hemp as well as leading technology to enhance bioavailability was our number one goal in this important phase of the initiative and we achieved it."
"Our considerable momentum completing Phase I of our CBD product development is timely with growing validation in the marketplace as a major national news organization like The New York Times takes a position as it did this Sunday, July 27th in its editorial section calling for the national legalization of cannabis," said Inergetics CEO Mike James. "In addition, it is important to note that the medical applications of cannabis and CBD are varied with the greatest opportunity in the broader consumer marketplace. Our progress is significant and puts Inergetics on the leading edge of this business."
Inergetics' CBD-based supplements are expected to be distributed via medicinal marijuana dispensaries in 2015.
Continued updates on the CBD product initiative and the Scientific/Medical Advisory Board will be made available at http://www.inergetics.com/cbd-initiative/.

The prestigious publication said pot laws disproportionately impact young black men and that addiction and dependence are "relatively minor problems" -- especially when compared with alcohol and tobacco.
"It took 13 years for the United States to come to its senses and end Prohibition, 13 years in which people kept drinking, otherwise law-abiding citizens became criminals and crime syndicates arose and flourished," the newspaper said.
"It has been more than 40 years since Congress passed the current ban on marijuana, inflicting great harm on society just to prohibit a substance far less dangerous than alcohol. The federal government should repeal the ban on marijuana."
Noting that the editorial board reached its conclusion after much discussion, The Times described the social costs of marijuana laws as "vast."
Citing FBI figures showing there were 658,000 arrests for marijuana possession in 2012 -- far higher than for cocaine, heroin and their derivatives -- it said "the result is racist, falling disproportionately on young black men, ruining their lives and creating new generations of career criminals."

The Times editorial, titled "Repeal Prohibition, Again," kicks off a series of pieces on the issue by members of the editorial board and invites readers to weigh in.
The first have already done so, with their views posted on the newspaper's website.
E.S. Lawrence, a self-described 20-year veteran high school teacher, expressed concern about children getting access to the substance, describing it as a "gateway drug" with detrimental effects on memory and learning.
"It's NOT a benign drug. As long as there's a danger of pot being acquired by children, I'm against legality," Lawrence posted.
But Emmett Hoops argued that legalization would allow for both taxation and regulation, adding that "mere decriminalization keeps profits in the hands of criminal gangs."
"It is beyond ridiculous to keep marijuana illegal while tobacco and alcohol kill scores every day in our state," Hoops, from New York, posted.
In January, President Barack Obama made headlines when he said smoking pot was no more dangerous than drinking, though he called the practice a "bad idea."
In comments to The New Yorker magazine, the US leader also noted that poor minority youths were more likely to get prison time for using marijuana than their richer counterparts.
However, he stopped short of calling for legalizing the drug at the federal level.
Repeal Prohibition, Again
By THE EDITORIAL BOARD
It took 13 years for the United States to come to its senses and end Prohibition, 13 years in which people kept drinking, otherwise law-abiding citizens became criminals and crime syndicates arose and flourished. It has been more than 40 years since Congress passed the current ban on marijuana, inflicting great harm on society just to prohibit a substance far less dangerous than alcohol.
The federal government should repeal the ban on marijuana.
We reached that conclusion after a great deal of discussion among the members of The Times’s Editorial Board, inspired by a rapidly growing movement among the states to reform marijuana laws.
There are no perfect answers to people’s legitimate concerns about marijuana use. But neither are there such answers about tobacco or alcohol, and we believe that on every level — health effects, the impact on society and law-and-order issues — the balance falls squarely on the side of national legalization. That will put decisions on whether to allow recreational or medicinal production and use where it belongs — at the state level.
We considered whether it would be best for Washington to hold back while the states continued experimenting with legalizing medicinal uses of marijuana, reducing penalties, or even simply legalizing all use. Nearly three-quarters of the states have done one of these.
But that would leave their citizens vulnerable to the whims of whoever happens to be in the White House and chooses to enforce or not enforce the federal law.
The social costs of the marijuana laws are vast. There were 658,000 arrests for marijuana possession in 2012, according to F.B.I. figures, compared with 256,000 for cocaine, heroin and their derivatives. Even worse, the result is racist, falling disproportionately on young black men, ruining their lives and creating new generations of career criminals.
There is honest debate among scientists about the health effects of marijuana, but we believe that the evidence is overwhelming that addiction and dependence are relatively minor problems, especially compared with alcohol and tobacco. Moderate use of marijuana does not appear to pose a risk for otherwise healthy adults. Claims that marijuana is a gateway to more dangerous drugs are as fanciful as the “Reefer Madness” images of murder, rape and suicide.
There are legitimate concerns about marijuana on the development of adolescent brains. For that reason, we advocate the prohibition of sales to people under 21.
Creating systems for regulating manufacture, sale and marketing will be complex. But those problems are solvable, and would have long been dealt with had we as a nation not clung to the decision to make marijuana production and use a federal crime.
In coming days, we will publish articles by members of the Editorial Board and supplementary material that will examine these questions. We invite readers to offer their ideas, and we will report back on their responses, pro and con.
We recognize that this Congress is as unlikely to take action on marijuana as it has been on other big issues. But it is long past time to repeal this version of Prohibition.

In 1970, at the height of his white-hot war on crime, President Richard Nixon demanded that Congress pass the Controlled Substances Act to crack down on drug abuse. During the debate, Senator Thomas Dodd of Connecticut held up a package wrapped in light-green paper that he said contained $3,000 worth of marijuana. This substance, he said, caused such “dreadful hallucinations” in an Army sergeant in Vietnam that he called down a mortar strike on his own troops. A few minutes later, the Senate unanimously passed the bill.

High Time: Repeal Prohibition, Again
Editorial: The Public Lightens Up About Weed JULY 26, 2014
That law, so antique that it uses the spelling “marihuana,” is still on the books, and is the principal reason that possessing the substance in Senator Dodd’s package is considered illegal by the United States government. Changing it wouldn’t even require an act of Congress — the attorney general or the secretary of Health and Human Services could each do so — although the law should be changed to make sure that future administrations could not reimpose the ban.

Some laws have yet to take effect.
Repealing it would allow the states to decide whether to permit marijuana use and under what conditions. Nearly three-fourths of them have already begun to do so, liberalizing their laws in defiance of the federal ban. Two have legalized recreational use outright, and if the federal government also recognized the growing public sentiment to legalize and regulate marijuana, that would almost certainly prompt more states to follow along.
The increasing absurdity of the federal government’s position is evident in the text of the Nixon-era law. “Marihuana” is listed in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act alongside some of the most dangerous and mind-altering drugs on earth, ranked as high as heroin, LSD and bufotenine, a highly toxic and hallucinogenic toad venom that can cause cardiac arrest. By contrast, cocaine and methamphetamine are a notch down on the government’s rankings, listed in Schedule II.
That illogical distinction shows why many states have begun to disregard the federal government’s archaic rules. Schedule II drugs, while carrying a high potential for abuse, have a legitimate medical use. (Even meth is sold in prescription form for weight loss.) But according to the language of the law, marijuana and the other Schedule I drugs have “no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States.”
STATES TAKE THE LEAD No medical use? That would come as news to the millions of people who have found that marijuana helped them through the pain of AIDS, or the nausea and vomiting of chemotherapy, or the seizures of epilepsy. As of this month, 35 states and the District of Columbia permit some form of marijuana consumption for medical purposes. New York is one of the latest states to defy the tired edict of the Controlled Substances Act.
It’s hard for the public to take seriously a law that says marijuana and heroin have exactly the same “high potential for abuse,” since that ignores the vastly more addictive power of narcotics, which have destroyed the lives of millions of people around the world. (There are no documented deaths from a marijuana overdose.) The 44-year refusal of Congress and eight administrations to alter marijuana’s place on Schedule I has made the law a laughingstock, one that states are openly flouting.
In addition to the medical exceptions, 18 states and the District of Columbia have decriminalized marijuana, generally meaning that possession of small amounts is treated like a traffic ticket or ignored. Two states, Colorado and Washington, have gone even further and legalized it for recreational purposes; two others, Alaska and Oregon, will decide whether to do the same later this year.
The states are taking the lead because they’re weary of locking up thousands of their own citizens for possessing a substance that has less potential for abuse and destructive behavior than alcohol. A decision about what kinds of substances to permit, and under what conditions, belongs in the purview of the states, as alcohol is handled.
Consuming marijuana is not a fundamental right that should be imposed on the states by the federal government, in the manner of abortion rights, health insurance, or the freedom to marry a partner of either sex. It’s a choice that states should be allowed to make based on their culture and their values, and it’s not surprising that the early adopters would be socially liberal states like Colorado and Washington, while others hang back to gauge the results.
PRE-EMPTED BY WASHINGTON Many states are unwilling to legalize marijuana as long as possessing or growing it remains a federal crime. Colorado, for instance, allows its largest stores to cultivate up to 10,200 cannabis plants at a time. But the federal penalty for growing more than 1,000 plants is a minimum of 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10 million. That has created a state of confusion in which law-abiding growers in Colorado can face federal penalties.
Last August, the Justice Department issued a memo saying it would not interfere with the legalization plans of Colorado and Washington as long as they met several conditions: keeping marijuana out of the hands of minors or criminal gangs; prohibiting its transport out of the state; and enforcing prohibitions against drugged driving, violence and other illegal drugs. The government has also said banks can do business with marijuana sellers, easing a huge problem for a growing industry. But the Justice Department guidance is loose; aggressive federal prosecutors can ignore it “if state enforcement efforts are not sufficiently robust,” the memo says.
That’s a shaky foundation on which to build confidence in a state’s legalization plan. More important, it applies only to this moment in this presidential administration. President Obama’s Justice Department could change its policy at any time, and so of course could the next administration.
HOW TO END THE FEDERAL BAN Allowing states to make their own decisions on marijuana — just as they did with alcohol after the end of Prohibition in 1933 — requires unambiguous federal action. The most comprehensive plan to do so is a bill introduced last year by Representative Jared Polis, Democrat of Colorado, known as the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act. It would eliminate marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act, require a federal permit for growing and distributing it, and have it regulated (just as alcohol is now) by the Food and Drug Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. An alternative bill, which would not be as effective, was introduced by Representative Dana Rohrabacher, Republican of California, as the Respect State Marijuana Laws Act. It would not remove marijuana from Schedule I but would eliminate enforcement of the Controlled Substances Act against anyone acting in compliance with a state marijuana law.
Congress is clearly not ready to pass either bill, but there are signs that sentiments are changing. A promising alliance is growing on the subject between liberal Democrats and libertarian Republicans. In a surprise move in May, the House voted 219 to 189 to prohibit the Drug Enforcement Administration from prosecuting people who use medical marijuana, if a state has made it legal. It was the first time the House had voted to liberalize a marijuana law; similar measures had repeatedly failed in previous years. The measure’s fate is uncertain in the Senate.
While waiting for Congress to evolve, President Obama, once a regular recreational marijuana smoker, could practice some evolution of his own. He could order the attorney general to conduct the study necessary to support removal of marijuana from Schedule I. Earlier this year, he told The New Yorker that he considered marijuana less dangerous than alcohol in its impact on individuals, and made it clear that he was troubled by the disproportionate number of arrests of African-Americans and Latinos on charges of possession. For that reason, he said, he supported the Colorado and Washington experiments.
“It’s important for it to go forward,” he said, referring to the state legalizations, “because it’s important for society not to have a situation in which a large portion of people have at one time or another broken the law and only a select few get punished.”
But a few weeks later, he told CNN that the decision on whether to change Schedule I should be left to Congress, another way of saying he doesn’t plan to do anything to end the federal ban. For too long, politicians have seen the high cost — in dollars and lives locked behind bars — of their pointless war on marijuana and chosen to do nothing. But many states have had enough, and it’s time for Washington to get out of their way.

Editorial: The Public Lightens Up About WeedJULY 26, 2014

$DSCR: Hemp As A Bio-Fuel Is One Step Closer To Reality
Date : 05/01/2014 @ 10:14AM
Source : PR Newswire (US)
Stock : Discovery Minerals Ltd. (PC) (DSCR)
RENO, Nev., May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Discovery Minerals LTD. (OTC PINK: DSCR) (PINKSHEETS: DSCR) is pleased to provide shareholders with further information regarding the Joint Venture (JV) with Syngar Technologies.
A research study concluded that Syngar's PLUSWave technology increased ethanol production by an overall average of 26%. The PLUSWave technology optimized the conversion of cellulose to sugars and enhanced ethanol yield. The proposed pilot project will utilize Cellunol Inc.'s proprietary technology to reduce costs and speed the pre-treatment of cellulose materials to form a slurry suitable for fermentation into ethanol.
With the worldwide increase in demand for oil, concern over the environmental impact of the use of fossil fuels and the challenge of sourcing a sustainable crop to provide the cellulose needed for Bio-Fuel fermentation, hemp may very well be part of the solution.
Corn based ethanol is the Bio-Fuel most favored by current United States government subsidies for renewable fuels. Hemp is an improvement over corn-based ethanol on several counts: higher soil conservation, nearly non-existent herbicide & pesticide requirements, higher yields, and greater suitability for cellulosic ethanol production, as opposed to either grains or corn. When compared to other plant species of active interest in Bio-Fuel production, hemp derives 100% more cellulose than species under active investigation. Production costs for corn-based ethanol is nearly twice that of estimated production costs for hemp derived ethanol. Hemp and its related species provide denser cellulose content than corn, higher sugar content, and derives higher ethanol yields per metric ton at lower costs.
Hemp is found to be a superior cultivar for Bio-Fuel production. Hemp exhibits far superior ethanol yields per unit biomass compared to corn. Pretreatment is necessary to alter the cellular structure of the biomass at hand. Specifically, lignin presents a significant stumbling-block to the fermentation of cellulosic material. Pretreatment procedures are primarily aimed at breaking down lignin. The challenge of stripping lignin from lignin bound cellulosic plant matter is the primary complexity that must be overcome prior to the direct conversion of cellulose to ethanol. In conclusion, Discovery's JV pilot project intends to overcome these challenges and establish a new industry standard for the pre-treatment process of Hemp in Bio-Fuel production.
About Syngar and PLUSWave:
The Company is a private Canadian company based in Edmonton, Alberta. Syngar licensed a technology, which we call "Pulsed Low Ultra Sound Wave" (PLUSWave) Technology. The PLUS Wave TM license is a worldwide and exclusive for application in biofuels. The PLUSWave Technology uses specific and proprietary ultrasound frequencies, at specific power levels, over set time intervals to stimulate the fermentation growth of algae, bacteria, fungus or yeast microorganisms by upwards of 30 - 50%.

INCT~ Market Watch (marketwatch.com): http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/INCT
As I read comments to my posts and other comments on IHUB I see a group of fearful people who have turned investing into gambling as well as a negativity that all companies.are POS, to quote one post to me tonight by Le2.
Now I have been reaching the right crowd on ihub for many years and in investing I have seen the best and worst of attitudes toward wall street. I have seen many become IR firms and most become soldiers of the crooks on the OTCBB and Pinks. I have set new trends as well as new avenues of getting the waves out to investors.
I see a need now as we remake this wave theory to add additional social avenues as the IHUB has turned into a breeding ground of negativity, IR pump n dumps and people with no regards to Integrity, Honesty, and ethics not only in what they post, But also in the companies they get paid to represent. Yes the pay has become rapid and the IR firms on the iHUB mostly now have turned this into boiler rooms for the Bad players and share sellers in the market. heck you are never sure if you are chatting with a paid poster a dishonest IR a company owner and even a broker firm.
Now by share sellers I am referring to the companies that have and never will have any intentions of doing work or creating anything. There main goal service and product will always be the production and selling of there shares. From there they will then reverse split and employ the likes of the IR firms on the iHUB to do the same. It has gotten to the point you are not sure if the posters are getting paid by the IR firms to post or by the Investment firms liquidating there shares for cash loans to the companies or even the paying people to bash a stock they have shorted.
Many of my friends now I see regularly with insider information or shares to push at the market and make a profit as they dump the ones they are paid to pump it.
How can people be like this and live with there selves. I do not know but I do know I am reaching some great contacts as well as what I stand for is showing up with the friends I am making. Some that show there true colors as we sit still on stocks and there real intention show up.
I will continue to believe that we as investors can and will find real companies that need our funds to increase the value of there companies as they grow.
I also believe if you use terms like POS scam crap and all the other description of investing in your posts on the IHUB you are buying into and contributing to the support of transferring funds to people who do not deserve these funds.
I may be Naive and have an idealism to hold onto but I feel as I always have that I will reinvent the wave and reach the investors.
I talk to so many great CEOs like Gerome, Rich, John , and Ely this week that are actually trying to grow there companies in the VIIC and the NHLE and two future OTCBB IPOs stocks.
I have found several new friends here and have grown another line to my growing business contacts. I can now see how this straight line and direction I have charted is starting too pay off.
Heck I have an LOI and people are starting too seek me out for advice on there business and funding needs as well as reverse merger ideas.
I am creating a many great friends and alliances in investing that are now seeing the same problem with there funds.
I am working hard to create value for my business contacts, Readers Friends and even enemies as I have produced some great funds for them this year.
I hope to create the same ahead and hope to always stay true to the path of the choice I made. I feel if I do not then I have short changed myself and my future in investing. To me there is no other path or get out.
Most importantly I am doing all I can to take ownership in the stocks I buy, stocks I write up and the stocks I take part in making them great.
If we all set our standards back to investing now in great companies and not short term momos our great companies will see the funding and the market will weed out the bad players like the CEOs, IR firms, brokers and individuals who abuse there place on the investors hub.
I look forward to extending huge value and joining forces with many of the best CEOs on the Penny markets to add value to all the investors in the future. I make the choice to become part of the new solutions ahead and not take the easiest route to lining my pockets with gold as many are doing now. Lets all be part of the investing and take the gamblers funding out of the market.

Below is this weeks list and I am looking for info updates now on the VIIC and the OWVI as I made contact with both this last week.
I look for Gerome at VIIC to see the need to engage the shareholders and Ron at OWVI finally realize the value of an active shell in this time of huge need for shells.
Keep an eye on these two as well as news from others on the list.
I am very busy in many projects this week as well as the website so please feel free to help in anyway of taking ownership in this stock you buy.
Without progressive active shareholders these companies can be left behind as nothing but gambles in this crazy penny market.
They way we get involved does set our financial future and help to turn this forum back into investing and not a daily casino.
I for one am actively emailing and offering ideas as well as collecting info from these companies and let me tell you that gets you noticed.

Through KMH Associates, we also received a purchase order from a retail store, Adorama. Through Adorama, we were offered our first ever sale/trade with an NFL TM stadium, as well as marketing deals with two NFL TM teams Although we pursued funding to fulfill the deal, we were not able to procure the funding necessary for delivery. We are still in contact with one of the NFL TM teams and, if funding is found, the team is still interested in working with us. Although the marketing deals with the two NFL TM teams were not solidified, Adorama offered us another marketing deal for the 2013/2014 NFL TM season. Associated with the deal are some branding options associated with the New York Giants.TM Through this contract, we were offered radio and print advertising, industry magazine articles, in stadium marketing at Met Life TM stadium, as well as product commercials in New York City.
ZNTR .001 is a possible MJ grower in Canada now.
My thoughts here are this is going to be one of the companies that has a growers license out of Canada now.
They are based in POT growers central now and they have been issuing licenses in Canada.
Now they switched the float to 2 billion or so in the SOS and that is inline with all the other MMJ and MJ companies switch now.
This is just speculation but My speculation this years has been about 75% correct and 3 out of 4 have gone to MJ and ran to pennies from trips.
I am waiting on the SUPER 8k filing now to read or other 8ks to see who owns all this now.
at this price and this low float now this is a great holder to see what happens.
;this weeks action was the same old TRAP the BID and ASK from the IHUB huge buyers who own 50 and 100 million shares and then set the course as the AX
If we get a filing with MJ they will lead the pack right to pennyland as they have in pmrs dewm slnx and so many more this year.
This has the lowest float at 169 million right now and they can not issued shares till they are current so when these flippers lose there trap ask bid strangle on the stock with news or filings this will move 20005 if it is MJ

House votes to allow marijuana-related banking
House votes to allow banks to deal with marijuana-related businesses
Associated Press By Andrew Taylor, Associated Press 1 hour ago
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The House voted Wednesday in support of making it easier for banks to do business with legal pot shops and providers of medical marijuana.
The 236-186 vote rejected a move by Rep. John Fleming, R-La., to block the Treasury Department from implementing guidance it issued in February telling banks how to report on their dealings with marijuana-related businesses without running afoul of federal money-laundering laws.
Marijuana dealing is still against federal law, so banks who do business with marijuana dispensaries could be accused of helping them launder their money. Federal money laundering convictions can mean decades in prison.
The Treasury guidance was intended to give banks confidence that they can deal with marijuana businesses in states where they're legal. Many banks are still reluctant to do so.
That has forced many marijuana operations to stockpile cash, a situation that shop owners say is dangerous.
"They are operating just in cash, which creates its own potential for crime, robbery, assault and battery," said Rep. Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., whose state has legalized recreational pot use. "You cannot track the money. There is skimming and tax evasion. So the guidance by the Justice Department and the guidance by the Treasury Department is to bring this out into the open."
The vote is largely symbolic since Treasury already had gone ahead with the guidance, but it demonstrates a loosening of anti-marijuana sentiment on Capitol Hill.
"Whereas the federal government once stood in the way of marijuana reform at every opportunity, the changing politics of this issue are such that more politicians are now working to accommodate popular state laws so that they can be implemented effectively," said marijuana advocate Tom Angell.
A coalition of 46 mostly GOP moderates and libertarian-tilting Republicans joined with all but seven Democrats to beat back Fleming's attempt to block the Treasury guidance.
The underlying measure, however, would block the District of Columbia from implementing a local law decriminalizing pot possession. The D.C. City Council approved a measure reducing the penalty for possession of up to an ounce of marijuana to a $25 fine.
That provision, by Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., also would block the city from legalizing pot as Colorado and Washington state have done.

5 Steps To A Safer Stock Purchase - Brief DD
1. Go to the symbol on IHUB
A. Check the float and info on the symbol page. http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=squote&symbol=WAVE
B. Check the recent history on the daily sales for a pre-buy run-up. http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=historical&cb=1255873900&symbol=WAVE
C. Check the iBox and recent posts. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/board.aspx?board_id=8376
2. Go to pink sheets for more information. http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=wave
A. Check the news for recent articles. http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=wave
B. Check the company info page and the float there. http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=wave
C. Check the Sec filings and read the recent ones, Identify what type of filings. http://www.pinksheets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=wave
3. Go to OTCBB news and check the top ten list and any news there for the Symbol. This site usually has a longer news history for most symbols http://www.otcbb.com/
4. Go back to IHUB and do a search of the symbol of public messages to see why this is running and who is motivating the run here on the IHUB. This can save you a bad trade if you know the real news or event driven runs and those that are preloaded runs and then they popped the ask for the high increase. If you have a free membership I highly recommend spending the 12.99 to get a paid membership for the search capabilities. http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/msgsearch.aspx?searchstr=wave
5. Set a buy and sell strategy based on the information you have gathered to this point and the L2 and Last Sale screens. Make the buy and then do further info searches for more reasons to buy or sell. If you find additional info that motivates another purchase of this and the price has increased do not hesitate to purchase more if you feel this info leads you to believe this will be an extended run. Then set your sale prices at your intended profit margins based on the research you have done and feel comfort in the fact that you have made a sound based decision to purchase this stock. They all will not work out but this will lesson the number of bad trades. This takes away the impulse buys and in time you can have this down to less then two or three minutes. If this is just a quick momo buy stock then the momo has fizzled and you did not get stuck in the trade.
From Riverfold and Questions to ask before buying a new company
So, I ask myself a few questions here - this is why the stock should be moving, in my opinion.
1. Does the company have a good product that is or will be in demand within my investing time-frame?
My answer = Yes
2. Is Management making the right moves in order to achieve the success and earnings that I expect out of my investment?
My answer = Yes
3. Is the company establishing their Sales Channel and retail/marketing strategies to meet the pending demand of the product?
My answer = Yes
4. Does the company keep us updated as to their progress?
My answer = yes
5. Does the company have things in the pipeline that will continue their product penetration strategy?
My answer = Yes
6. If implemented properly, I do feel the stock will be worth a substantial more amount of money in the FUTURE?
My answer = Yes
I don't wait until the company has proven their strategy is ALREADY successful before I invest, there's just no profit potential in that investment.
1. All stock buys should have sell points set up front when you buy.
A) if this is a long term buy then you should be buying at a lower price then when news breaks. If news and increase brought to this stock either buy more shares then you intend to hold or wait for the price to decline. Split the buys of total shares if it is long term.
B) If this has lots of momentum in price and bid support buy twice as much and then set your sales price for the extra half to a profit for the first sale of the stock. I usually set that for a 100% increase from the purchase price. This if sold will lower your cost in the remaining shares and take the stress out of the watching of daily fluctuations in PPS as you have made a great buy point.
2. If this is a real fast moving price then it also will generally move fast down. In these type of stocks I usually buy more shares and sometimes more purchases.
A) Set a sale of 50% of your shares at 100% profit and then a second sale at 150% profit. I even sometimes set another sale for 25% more at 200 to 300% gains if it moves that fast. Do not move these prices as it will more times then not leave you regretting it later. The third sale i do occasionally move down.
B) If you meet these two sale points and the price declines then you can repurchase more shares below the first sale or even between the first and second sale and occasionally the third sale. at this point you have lowered the initial cost of the remaining shares and are better able to buy more for the next run.
C) This also helps to enhance your long term portfolio and gives you a daily watch list in your portfolio to signal another chance to accumulate more shares.
D) In time you will not only grow your capital but your cash will also grow. This will allow for greater Income potential or Long term growth of your portfolio depending on which your account is setup for.
E) I do not trade any Otcbb or Pinks in my 401k account and My Ameritrade is set up for medium growth and I take transfer of cash from there to my long term account. I am also enhancing the number of long term small board stocks there and regularly evaluate those for longs or need to sell.
We strive to bring you only well-researched picks that are from the whole team.

Long Term Traders: those who buy, set sells on the way up (lowering their avg pps) and buy again on dips; holding for many months
Goofy Traders: those that proclaim to be long term traders and never take profits along the way, emptying the penny jars at home to send in to their broker to buy more when they perceive this stock is "going to the moon!" raising their avg pps. They neglect all the profits that they could have taken along the way and wish later that they were smart enough to do as they were told to (and thought that they should do) along the way.
Why do companies do Reverse Splits?
One of the reasons is because the owners of OTC companies are not stock traders and they don't get it……..
They want their share price to rise, I know, I know, they don't care about their share price, all they care about is diluting……… WRONG!
When a company's share price is higher, they have to give less of it away to get the funds they need to keep the company running and to grow.
When a company's share price is higher, they get more serious investors who have the money to ride the storms, to average down when they need to. These investors I talk about don't throw $100 to $500 at a play hoping that the PPS will rise enough to cover their commissions and give them some profit. These investors don't buy in one lot they buy in a calculated manner over several days/weeks even months and they don't exit the trade in one full swoop either. These serious investors don't panic and sell off when they see negative posts on the message boards, they have done their own DD on the stock, before they bought a single share, unlike the majority of OTC traders who start their DD after they become bag holders.
Another factor that plays into the desire for a higher stock price is that when the owners initially went public with the company, they had already involved several family members and friends and more than likely involved even more after going public. Now the family & friends are pissed because their shares in uncle Joe's great idea that were supposed to make them rich are now worth a fraction of what they were worth.
So now that we know why a company would want a higher PPS (Price per Share). The question remains; How do they get there?
Not being traders themselves most of the assume that doing a reverse split is the way……..
We'll take our stock that's trading @ 0.0003 and do a 10,000 to 1 split making the shares worth $3 each and that should grab the attention of the serious investors, hedge funds ect…
They truly believe that they can maintain their trading volume at this higher price, not knowing that they need to get the word out about their company to a whole new audience.
So we all know what happens next: They do the reverse split and for the 1st 3 days it pretty much holds it's price, but on day 3 when the new shares are cleared in everyone's account - FREEEEEEEEEEEEE FALLLLLLLLLLLLL………………………………………
The free fall instills panic and breeds on itself dropping the price further, until it hits bottom and then bounces. This bounce is created by a number of factors, the longs decide the stock is not going lower and now is the time to average down, the shorts cover for the same reason then go on their merry way with the buckets of money they made on the trade and the opportunistic traders jump on for the ride. This all causes a rise in the share price, but it never quite gets back to that $3 point and over time it makes it's way back to the sub-penny area, due to lack of buying interest at current prices.
THANKFULLY NOT ALL CEO's ARE SO BLIND TO REALITY.

I don,t know if anyone else is watching this whole mess unravel on Wallstreet, but it occurred to me that it is the switching of the wealth for this century.
People have been calling for change in our country, without the understanding that change has to start with the businesses first.
The people of these large corporations that have been controlling the country's politics are now falling out of favor.
I personally am embracing this change of wealth and look forward to moving myself and my family to a better position during these trying times.
Through history we have learned the turbulent times are tough, but that the fighters come out on top. It would be too easy right now to bury your head in the sand and let the flack fly.
I personally am working harder at my business and at positioning my portfolio to be ready for the next generation.
I listened to a book on tape four or five years ago and the professor of finance that wrote the book predicted the market slow down thru 2009 starting in late 2007.
He based his ideology on the fact the baby boomers are not going to be buying much after that date. So far he is right.
The problems in The US markets are really not tied to just one subject, like the cost of oil or housing.
They are the changing of the old bellweathers who now are falling out of favor.
50 years ago if you would have said we will no longer have any Woolworth's or Stuckey's people would have laughed at you.
Now those are all gone and newer ones are falling...Starbucks as an example.
Now is the time to try to find the diamonds in the rough and grab onto them.
Heck, the first time I saw some kid Heeleying through the streets, I ignored the importance of that product. Now they are using their capital to build a stronger company.
To those that are trying right now to improve their portfolios, good for you. This is the time that we will see the next Bill Gates, Forbes or firecrackers like Donald trump.
Sorry for the rambling but it is after a nice Sunday morning drive with no traffic which gives you plenty of time to think things through.
Go forward and try to find the next Microsoft, Walmart, Wendys, Starbucks and Apple computer.
Of course, remember with no risk there will be no return, and you never know who the next shooting star is.
