PUEBLO, CO, Dec. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sprout Tiny Homes (OTC PINK: STHI), has inked a $26M contract with Texas Site Development, LLC and Tiny Dwelling Co. for up to 275 tiny homes to be purchased and installed at two tiny home communities in the Austin, Texas area. The initial development is Constellation ATX, a tiny home community located just 10 miles south of downtown Austin, TX scheduled to open the Spring of 2018. As part of the agreement, Tiny Dwelling Co. is an authorized dealer for Sprout Tiny Homes and will offer several Sprout models for sale to clients that can locate their home at Constellation ATX (www.constellationatx.com) or a second community to open later in 2018 in the Kyle, TX area. Both tiny home communities are being developed by Texas Site Development, LLC. Constellation ATX will offer a variety of amenities including a clubhouse, on site laundry, natural swimming pool, professionally landscaped parks and common areas with many options for grocery, eating out, coffee shops and nightlife just a short walk or bike ride away. The property will feature many outdoor sitting areas featuring natural gas BBQs, picnic tables, and fire pits designed by award winning landscape architecture firm, Mark Word Design, known for work done at Hotel San Jose and Hotel St. Cecilia.
The contract for the tiny homes anticipates deployment of the roughly 275 homes over the next 30 months beginning Q1, 2018. LA JUNTA, CO - June 08, 2017 - InvestorsHub NewsWire - Sprout Tiny Homes (OTC PINK: STHI) has signed a lease on 45,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space to meet increasing production demand. The new facility is located at the Puebloplex in Pueblo, Colorado and will provide up to 31 bays of manufacturing space to build Sprout's commercial lines of tiny homes. The facility is currently being upgraded with a $300,000 internal build out of LED lighting, electrical, water and air drops to create a high efficiency manufacturing environment.
Sprout is also building out new corporate offices for the Pueblo facility. Recent demand and future order pipeline prompted the expansion from its La Junta, Colorado location. "We chose to expand our manufacturing capability in Pueblo because of the pro-business climate and proximity to the I-25 corridor for shipping and receiving purposes," said Rod Stambaugh, President of Sprout Tiny Homes. WeeCasa has 11 Sprout Tiny Homes in its resort and is collaborating with Sprout to expand the tiny home resort model in other strategic destinations in the US.
Moreover, Sprout has acquired 19.2 acres in Salida, Colorado located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Salida annexed this acreage into its planned Unit Development District (“PUD”). They finally reported their financials and the latest quarter I think showed a profit. That compounded with such a tiny float and some ask smacks sends this higher. With such a low float it doesn't take much to move the price up or down. Liquidity can be an issue with such a low float too
