Shorts are very active here. I've watched them post spam and stronger messages for the past year or so. I'm surprised they haven't been more active with all that has gone on recently. It has to raise a level of concern for them. Granted their interest isn't at the level of the big ones but we can see their numbers.

At the end of the day we all do our our own research. I seriously doubt people are trading based on agenda based short posts.

Personally I believe the risk could be worth it. I own it. I'm holding.

She is a major Bondholder as well as a major Creditor !!! NOTHING is over yet- far from it son...

No justinfacts, actually in front of President right now is massive signed petition regarding JC Penneys corrupt fraudulent BK filing by the execs who all ought to be in jail...

And also "fact" that regarding all JCP pensions from looong ago established, that should any CEO or exec ruin the company, file for any BK protection, or commit any fraudulent act to cripple said company, the "Pensioners" have and can, legally then go after all of the standing assets of the CEO and Executive Board members to recoup all losses and make whole !! Wonder why nobody showing those "retirement terms" here or on JCP site ???

MANY of today's corp execs are NOT of the integrity & grain of the old guard loong ago who built such businesses (all mainly with US manfctrd products too). They cared about employees' contributions who MADE the company exist, grow & expand. MANY of today's CEO's are all about greed and "ME" and milk said companies for all worth, then move onto the next victim company, and like the US bankruptcy system, needs massive overhaul...

Its only Tuesday and early enough in the week to see a multi day runner in JCPNQ

JCPNQ is .16 now and heading into the .20's.

Well Judge Jones, I am ashamed to live in a country where executives can bonus themselves $10M the day before bankruptcy with shareholder money, have a Federal Judge bless the transaction, then wipe out the shareholders, recover $1.36 Billion in unsecured claims for 750K (yes that's $750,000), have the first lien recover 200% of what they are owed, and then tell all the middle class who got wiped out not to complain. Yeah, real fair.

Well, as of November 20th, JC Penneys will walk out of C11 protections and continue forward operating normally... CEO and gang not in jail for this fraudulent BK filing after they paid themselves bonuses. But their bills will all be paid in full... NOW even further increase of asset valuations as Brookfield & Simon now are connected to JCP as of this morning... WOW what a major securities law firm will have going on contingency basis now seeing all of this increase asset valuation as a whole...
