BP still a great short - but a bit tricky (contrary to popular belief, shorts usually are harder).
Chart showing out of this uptrend channel with a potential head and shoulders top. Dependent on the breakdown from the blue neckline, target here is around 41.
This is a classic head-fake corrective move coming off the aggressive downtrend in the form of a bear wedge. It points to 32 (exact target can only be made after a break of the bottom line):
I continue to hold and have added various april puts.
HSY - it is rare to find them this bullish. Again, one to lock away, adding all the way up:
Long term 10 yr, a true CANSLIM - type cup and handle (target 75):
1yr, shows the handle portion as a possible continuation rectangle (target 57.50):
10 minute, showing continuation pattern that points to break outs on the longer term patterns are ahead:
This could easily pull back into a longer handle (see 10 yr) but rarely are they so clear and easy to trade with the backdrop of such bullish charts. A true no-brainer.
NANO up 20% since the start here - very strong stair stepping up..... (been taking off the calls and keeping the stock for a free ride at this point):
SMPP charts....
The range-bound .0003 to .0005 is a triple bottom, broken out and target from this is .0008:
The .0008 target suggests that SMPP will at least visit its longer term resistance at .0009; this price is the top resistance of a larger double bottom. Once over .0009, then .0017 is the next stop:
(yes, bottoms can be, and often are, uneven in these formations. This one is within proper tolerance to remain vailid)
Last target here called at 18.35 (short term, temporary sign post on the way up). Now look at that exact price level on a 1 min chart with the 18.35 shown with a horizontal supp / resis line. It will sound conspiratorial, but these foot print targets are NOT random.
It is possible (but not easy) to "read" the output

NANO catching strong buying and started up to its higher targets today.
HSY very bullish charts (from short to long term):
2 minute chart, this little rounding scallop formation is a typical continuation sign in a strong uptrend:
Which suggests this flag / measure move on the 60 will continue to its upward target at 52.50:
If that target (52.50) comes then it points to a solid breakout upwards from this continuation rectangle on the 2yr.:
And that 2 yr. continuation rectangle points to this cup and handle on the 10yr moving up to its target at 70:
LEAPS are an easy buy, add, and hold for this hugely bullish stock.
NANO - new long postion:
5 yr chart very bullish:
Smaller time frame within that larger channel in only .50 or so past a good breakout buy - flag pointing to 20:
LUV 60 minute chart - broke out of a measured bear move from the most recent 14+ top. The small corrective uptrend starting in mid Dec. looks over. Target on this measured move is 11.50. If 11.50 comes then it will have broken down from the head and shoulders (end of 9/2010 to present) which targets at the larger potential double top support at 10.40. If that double top breaks down, target, longer term, is likely 6.60.
This morning puts were a huge flip for 80+% (not sure who buys so out of the money two days in front of expiry - LOL).
SLV - I would re-evaluate long nearer to 25, the target off this rising wedge (I have stopped selling what physical I want to on ebay - got 40 - 42 for silver eagles, LOL, thanks glenn beck).
C is moving up through resistance - needs to get some volume expansion. Could be lots more upside once a foothold can stay up over 5.11 - 5.13....
HSY getting another leg up this morning. Approaching the top of a continuation rectangle with resistance at 51.40. Once over, the target is the width of the rectangle added to this resistance / breakout line which, here, is 57.80.
Here is why HSY is my favorite long-term hold, a great IRA type stock to sit on and add at each valley: The long term is a clear cup and handle (there is also a measured bull move here) with target at 70.
I have been accumulating this and LEAPS on this from 45 - 46 price levels.
C
LODE is a pretty easy hold and add here. It has already shown it wants to move up out of its wedge (a common, counter-trend, continuation pattern) as it is up over the resistance, now support, top line. Target just on that little pattern is ~4.75.
Add the rising channel that the stock is likely operating in, for now, and one can see this is a great risk/reward add even up here; it is likely, longer term, that 5s + are coming.
I have a position and am holding tight myself.

Now, notice this short term supp/resistance line at that 80pt drop level after the fact. These footprints can be very, very specific and targets often become areas of magnetic support and resistance (their importance is relative to the time frame from where the premise stems - as seen here, even very short term targets are magnetic).
BTW, patterns indicate more downside. I had a perception that many issues were forming sea change patterns since the beginning of this year.

BP should break down from this wedge. Good risk reward short here with a clear stop on any substantial strength over the top line where it has halted, short term:
