This is an interesting response from the cannabis business world to the hot air from Sessions and the DOJ today. There will be massive push back from the states but essentially all bark: "Rohrabacher-Blumenauer is re-authorized, which is likely but not certain, then Session's pronouncement today will be more bark than bite—regardless of the change in Policy the Federal government won't permitted to pursue medical marijuana prosecutions unless there are gross violations by a marijuana operator, such as diversion of cannabis across state lines
If Rohrabacher-Blumenauer is not reauthorized then in theory the Department of justice could institute a complete crackdown on marijuana. As this amendment has been extended by Congress 7 times I am cautiously optimistic that it will be re-authorized and things will be business as usual."

I wonder if even schedule 3 wouldn't create confusion. I don't see where recreational products would be legal, and if not, we still have a problem. It probably would still be a problem in legal cannabis stores as the products they sell have never been through FDA testing. What would constitute legal schedule 3 products to sell.

If Congress were serious, it should be legal, and taxed in the same way that alcohol and tobacco are. State's could say what's legal for them, but the Feds would stay out, but collect their taxes. This is probably the only action that could totally free up banks to treat cannabis based businesses just like any other business.

Of the three, cannabis is certainly a safer product than tobacco, and time may prove it's safer than alcohol as well. While cigarettes may not generally cause driving accidents, they are attributed for causing many forms of cancer while cannabis seems to have anti cancer benefits.

I don't know that Session's action may not be the catalyst for Congress doing something, and if it is, I wonder if that's not precisely what Trump intended. Chaos theory, you may not be able to control the outcome, but you get action.

They need to reschedule marijuana to a Schedule III drug if not outright legalization. They also need to prevent the DOJ from taking any action to subvert the will of the people in states where MJ and MMJ are legal. They also must allow banks to support financial transactions in legal dispensaries and states without the fear of federal interference or prosecution.

Which is why Cronyism comes to mind. If you believe this company has gotten ahead of everyone in the MedCan sector, And! they are concerned with acquiring claim(s) to rights across the spectrum. Big Pharma, Cap Investors, Politicians all would be catching on to potential $multibillion company that Has done one thing well, (Kept the Integrity of the Share Structure in Tact). That is the point I am trying to drive home this level of manipulation has hurt the stock more than it helped the few trying to do it and mainly the reason why this peaked at around .65 as opposed to going over $1 as it should.

Fact is outside of today sector wide down trend their is something wrong with how this trades I will keep saying it this is not the work of retail. Had anyone been watching how MAXM and ASCM walked this down and huge sell orders blocking any reasonable rebound will know this is not the work of retail.

How does an MJ ticker based out of Israel sell off this much on news that does not directly affect them?

Well bright side... no gaps to even question about filling.

This whole Sessions thing is just a money grab tactic by the Feds and Wall Street. All this is doing is forcing our senators and congressman to pass laws to legalize immediately. Their constituents will blow up their phones. States who have legalized and planning on funding pet projects with additional revenue or are going to go bankrupt will tear the house down.

Essentially it will be short lived after the rioting stops. OWCP is semi-immune in that they have big things going for them.

So yeah it sucks but it will be short lived. Likely will be fully legal by June 2018.

We will get the respect we deserve once phase 1 are complete. There is not one MJ stock out there with this potential. I have not watched this downtrend today and advise you do the same. Has anyone checked with the transfer agent to see if the company's been selling into this last run? That would make sense why we didn't run and yet still got the drop. I'm not that familiar with all this stuff and all the things people talk about re market makers and other topics like that. I'm just looking for a reasonable explanation for how this has traded the last 10 months. Watching the MMJ run last few days I just could not believe that owcp wasn't in there. It wasn't showing up at all. I did a quick comparison of cnbx cuz we traded so similarly for so long, we should have been at 1.30 yesterday and cnbx diluted last summer.
