The company is on the Grey Market - it is toast, never to return. Suggest writing off your investment for a capital loss on your taxes. My condolences on your investment....
Has the company removed the current Directors yet? How do we
find out about our investment?

I have done that many a times. It's a good strategy and often turns what appears to be a doomed red trade into a green trade. But to do that, a person must go for the bottom as you did and not fall for the often promoted "just ave down" "buy on the dips".
Congrats to you for your succesful trade and thanks for sharing that with everyone.
ONYX
Here is a different perspective . From a trader's point of view .
I was long this POS .. didn't research it except to check it's tier share structure blah blah blah . One of my buds is very into trading solars and does very well . That said I bought into it .
Upon hearing about the SEC suspension I wrote this off as a total loss .
Yesterday pre market I entered some crazy limit orders to buy and purchased a fair amount very low .. much lower than my original purchase and for 20% of the original $$ investment I averaged the position to a point where it was salvageable .
I entered sell limits and voila ! filled . .No greed all under a buck and I reduced my loss to near nothing . No fear .. conquer .Be proactive . This one gave a chance to exit . I may be wrong in wanting to be flat here but my instinct tells me the Grey market is perfectly named . Cool heads prevail .What the future holds here I can't predict . This is a dangerous arena to put da money ...and I for one learned a very valuable lesson .
GLTA
Thanks Ergo. Doing a PR before the suspension is up ? I'm sure their attorney told them to keep it short and sweat, then read every word.
Gutsy.... In light of their website, I could argue that PR is misleading as well. I think they need to change their website.
When they get this straightened out:
I have a cabin in the woods that runs off a generator. I they wish, they are welcome to come and install a couple solar panels and an ATM machine. As long as they make it clear, They do not own my property or the company they are buying the solar panels from.
I would also have to thank the SEC for taking action before a lot of people got dragged in by the pump. Using those Big Board names in their Pr's was a No No. LOL
Greenwood Village-based Onyx Service & Solutions announced today that the company has completed a solar power project for the Honduras upscale resort of West Bay Lodge on the island of Roatan.
The project is the first use of the company's new 330-watt panel and is the alternative-energy company's first diesel-reduction effort.

repost from yahoo:
The press release states: "...current government plans for increasing energy supply give no attention to the role that ordinary consumers can contribute in increasing the capacity in the Luzon-Visayas grid. The new Plug-N-Play product may be the an opportunity to quickly solve this missing part of the plan"
NO NO NO! ONYX's Plug-n-Play is NOT designed to back feed the grid (reverse metering)!! Not only is this idea not within Electirc Code, it is potentially LETHAL! Read why here: http://www.solarsouthwestflorida.com/update-on-plug-and-play-solar-panels/

ONYX expands to the Philipines

LOL, I see, you see, what I see. Note the use of Big Board company names in the PR's. A clear sign of a scam...
I'm not quit sure the meaning of your post. There's nothing in the filings about solar power. They clearly state the revs are 100% derived from ATM Service.
I was interested in the solar panels PR'd by Onyx Service & Solutions, Inc. I called the company that was PR'd and they had no knowledge who Onyx Service & Solutions, Inc. was.
After seeing the increase in the electric rates this month, I'm even more interested in adding to my Solar Power, But Nothing about this company checks out except the ATM Service.
Haha this is funny -

Are you a Ted Nugent fan? Serves me right.. I remember seeing ONYX a LOT before the huge run.
Hi MAC, are you an onyx invester? I'm looking for people to chat about onyx!
WOW...What a screwed up company. Filings don't say anything about Solar Power. The filings say this is an ATM service company. The link in the PR goes to another company in China.
Why is the quote box not working ?
Hey guys...Is there a site that has ordering and pricing info ?
Great UPI Article pro ONYX today see: http://www.upi.com/Business_News/Energy-Resources/2011/12/29/Solar-power-use-expands-in-South-America/UPI-58871325182362/
Solar power use expands in South America
TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Latin America is investing more in solar power but, in line with International Energy Agency warnings, needs to do so intelligently and without multiplying costs.
Poverty-stricken Honduras is the latest home to solar energy projects in Central and South America that are driven by U.S. service providers but fitted out with Chinese-made equipment.
Colorado's Onyx Service and Solutions Inc. said it will install its newest solar energy project in Latin America, made up of Chinese-manufactured solar panels and associated equipment, at West Bay Lodge Project in Roatan, Honduras.
Onyx Management is also using Honduran personnel for the installation which fulfills a need for electricity supply expansion in the Central American country.
Honduras was severely affected by a coup in 2009 that triggered an international diplomatic, political and economic isolation of the country. Recovery has been slow despite assistance from the European Union and the United States.
The West Bay Lodge installation follows a deal reached in October to power the resort, part of the government's plan to regenerate the economy with tourism. The West Bay Beach is the most popular tourist destination on the Island of Roatan, and an international tourist destination.
Onyx said in deciding on the project it took a different course than most other solar companies, choosing to forgo competition against coal-fired electricity producers or depending on government subsidies to make a profit.
After a detailed research of the worldwide markets for power, Onyx said, it focused on sectors that relied on costly diesel generated electricity such as that in Roatan at present but offered opportunity for greater profit margins. Onyx is developing multiple solar power projects in Honduras, one as large as 22 megawatts, and Panama. The company is developing solar power distribution in Colombia and Peru.
Solar power generation and distribution is set to grow in Latin America and has enabled U.S. renewable energy companies to position in the area.

That is big time!
Still climbing.
Anyone else having problems placing an order? TDA can't find onyx.
Competing with china will be a challenge. Curious to see what onyx has in store to do that. Thx
Looking like a reorganized U.S. venture.
No news since October 2004? Hmmm US, Chinese or other?
ONYX had some trading activity on Sept 22nd, 23rd & 24th - this board is open for discussions!
