in an attempt to turn some of the heat down.

I do believe that the BBX is slated for early 2003,
but I will have to look it up to be sure. Maybe this
is a pre-req of some type to get on the BBX, bring up
your grades a tad and we'll let you in the class. I
don't know.

That is as I understood the conference call or the PR; can't remember which. Thus, I think this whole stock cert thing is pointless. Moving to the BBX would have taken out all the naked shorts if the stock has to be re-registered to get on the BBX. Doesn't that start early next year? I have not been paying much attention since NUTK is the only OTCBB stock I own. After April 2000 and especially after the summer of 2001, I have been mostly into mutual funds: stock index (figure it will gradually recover) and Vanguard Long Term Treasuries (safe place to be for now).

The hey dey of the OTCBB of the late '90s is long dead and will not return in our lifetimes. Any new small company that has a solid business plan is probably privately held. Too hard to get listed on the NASDAQ or NYSE and not worth the hassle to go public. IMO, any company now getting newly listed on the OTCBB is probably a short-term scam.

I'll be interested to see how well the BBX fares. From what I've seen, it seems similar to the NASDAQ (who I think owns the BBX), but without the share price requirement

Hi Guys-

Missed no3putts post on RB the other day. I'll be here daily, now.

Still do not know what to make of this. One side says "Good. Get the naked shorters out". The other side says "Bad. This will dampen liquidity and discourage small investors". Another side is looking in to some other implications (based on my financial planning background) that do not initially appear to be good, but I need further info from transfer agent, before I post/speculate in the event I am wrong.

Some people get too bound up over a % sign next to a number.
At this price level a % is meaningless. A few cents/dollars
will throw people into a % tizzy - - a 5 cent move at this
level is %100 but it is not the same as a $100 or $50 or
even a $10 stock. A move here, a PR there can drive a penny
stock from 5 cents to $5 in a day or two - - I had it happen
to me and seen it on other stocks. This is why I dabble in
the pennys (for some reason my wife lets me do this but
frowns on my occasional trip to the casino).

Them people on RB are poo poo'ing over a %100 move in NUTK.
If I were to try to bring this up there, well I can just
guess the names I would be called in their attempt to make
me cry. NUTK is a penny stock and will remain so until the
company grows up a tad.

Lets see what the morrow brings.

Hi All

I do believe we have seen the beginning and possibly the end of a squeezing of the shorts. It is obvious by the PR, brokerages in Canada are targeted, and I do believe I have heard an underlying theme that there might be some shorting of NUTK for the past couple of years. Today, it seems quite apparent. I wonder if the stock will regroup tomorrow and finish off what they started. This is my first inclination as to what is going on.

My second inclination looks at this as a possible momentum play intitiated by a group. The stock had based out around .04 cents and remained steady, ripe for a group to play a hand at running it a bit. If this is the case, maybe we'll see a little more upside before it falls off. Lebed is top on my list of groups.


My third inclination and least likely is there is inside buying going on. It is possible, the company insiders might be buying some shares in the event of some news event. I don' think so though.

Looking forward to the days ahead. I remain fully invested with more shares than ever. I continue to accumulate.

Doc, for every buy there must be a sell. So when you say the buying is heavier than the selling, that cannot be possible, unless they MM's are selling shares they don't have! hmmmmmmmmm....

I'll check in here from time to time.

Nutek Inc. Announces Certificated Ownership Requirements
Monday December 2, 12:58 pm ET


LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 2, 2002--Nutek Inc. (OTCBB: NUTK - News; "Nutek" or the "company") today announced that it is exiting the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. (DTCC) and Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS) post-trading settlement and clearing systems.

Effective immediately, ownership of the company's common shares must now be evidenced in certificated form under seal of the company and signed by the president and secretary of the company. All certificates surrendered to the company's transfer agent shall be cancelled, with new certificates in the name of the true beneficial owner issued in their places, and no new certificates shall be issued until the former certificate for the same number of shares shall have been surrendered or cancelled.

Nutek's management believes that its program of certificated ownership will enhance the fairness and integrity of Nutek's share trading system, protect shareholder value and reduce the potential for unfair and improper trading practices.

I'll go with the positive 4th qtr, don't know about year as a whole. Will settle for $0.00.

2002 should look very positive based on Datascension alone. With $7 mm lined up in work and profit margin of 10%, that should give $700K in positive earnings to NUTK. Oil prices are down, so NUTK oil will not contribute much -- all dependant if NUTK oil trades separately and gets trading symbol. But do not see much more than $30K net earnings for that division. I have not seen Kristi and Company on any of the trade show sites and am beginning to wonder about that division -- either gets shelved or sold. Tekplate needs to be the big product for 2002 because of the increasing o/s, otherwise I don't see us getting past $0.20-.25

HELLO PEOPLE - Just wanted to post that the news release from the company may have more meaning in it than a quick scan or read on it will tell you.
I read it that the hold or shipping logjam has now been broken. That the company now has everthing it needs to proceed with building and shipping the of tekplate.
The delay was in my oppinion was more because NUTK did not have those patents than anything else. Not that I expect any shipments this week but soon now with maybe some new features, not in the original. Also more different products to come for different applications later.
I know that all of us (longs) have been fustrated with the delays (ME TOO). So if you have the time reread the release and see if you come to the same, similar, or different interpitation as I have. It may spark something like maybe renewed thoughts of the potential here. Of course only time will tell since they only just acquired the patents. If not be glad you are not holding shares of LU (at least I hope your not- LOL).

oil update:

The ACTI database lags about 2 months by the time oil figures are reported. I believe that April figures are up, but not June. There is some updates on the drilling in progress in Ft. bend county on the nutek website, www.nutk.com
Independently, I have heard that they did find oil in that hole and that the casing and sleeving work is being done now.

I had a similar discussion with Murray on Wednesday. This pretty much confirms what has been "rumored" and consistent with my searching.
