Beyond the full page in NB's presentation celebrating that they applied for a loan (wee!); one thing that I never see discussed here is that EXIM, the entity upon which 99% of NB's hopes are now pegged, is in place to facilitate and encourage exports, but all the arguments (like the ones AO just posted) revolve around domestic consumption. Just a little disconnect that I am sure will be brushed quickly aside.
I just checked on GX's last merger deal with Celularity. The price has been decimated down to 3 cents with a 1:10 r/s already done. The shareholders were wiped out. Niocorp has the same look as of today although they do have physical assets compared to a biotech. The person responsible for advising this merger should have been fired. GX is a virus that infects every company they come into contact with. Stock price down 77.5% as of this post. Absolute ****ing travesty that was heaped on retail shareholders. No institutional support whatsoever. Even if the stock rallies, some of the first retail wave is long gone.
Management should be ashamed of themselves for taking raises and bonuses while the price is in tatters.
Good points Al. Probably not until they see funding on the horizon. USGS is highly aware of the mineral deposits. Known many years before NioCorp was formed. Mine financing is a tough gig. Always has been because its very expensive to build. If EXIM goes through though, Wall St will be paying attention. You saw that with MP Materials debut. Everybody (Wall St) is just waiting for the other person (EXIM) to make the next move.
I think this news is the one the market hates.
https://www.tipranks.com/news/the-fly/niocorp-announces-closing-of-financing-agreement
Hard believe they could could not come up with better short-term financing than this.
Also, I think it's possible that there could have been some confusion among investors in Canada causing them to sell.
Neither. The recycling exploration doesn't need to take 5 years. Better not. I've got patience but not 5 more years or even 1 more year. NioCorp can sign a commitment to recycle but that should not be a stumbling block to EXIM funding. That's a question for mgt for certain because none of us can answer if a completed report on recycling is a condition of funding or just a long term goal. Mgt knows. How could they not? Regarding TSX, everybody will have a different opinion but I think its a simple consolidation. Happy to hear differing opinions.
“ know there are vast riches in the minerals beneath the ground and most know extracting and selling them will likely be a cash cow for the company and its investors.”
First I corrected your “their” to “there”,
These claimed vast riches just laying in the ground waiting to be plucked out has been one of the battle cries for quite a bit of time. With that said, why is big, serious and smart money not buying that claim? I mean after all don’t you think big smart money would be tripping all over themselves to try and get in the door to reap the benefits of these claimed vast riches? Huge red flag….
So which of these two newest news releases do you think the market doesn’t like?
April 18
https://www.niocorp.com/niocorp-plans-to-investigate-feasibility-of-rare-earth-permanent-magnet-recycling/
April 17
https://www.niocorp.com/niocorp-to-voluntarily-delist-from-the-tsx-in-favor-of-its-current-nasdaq-listing/
I would say the magnets recycling, because it sounds like every other “we think we will try this on for size” and take another three years for the feasibility study
********
Rah Rah sis boom bah.
I agree. This investment is a conundrum. It always has been. Those of us who have held for years and years (lost track how many years Ive been invested: 11 years, 12 years) know there are vast riches in the minerals beneath the ground in Elk Creek Nebraska and most investors know extracting and selling them will likely be a cash cow for the company and its investors. Problem is and always has been, how and when will financing come through. Personally, I believe the govt as a financier is a smart move because if the govt cant see the benefit how will any other entity. I could be wrong about that but the govt has all the reasons in the World why they might want to see this mine get funded. Mineral independence, support of US auto manufacturing, defense, jobs, transition to EV goals, the environment and so on. We have ZERO control over what they decide and just have to hedge our bets on how we think this financier will pan out and which way they are likely to decide until funding either gets approved or denied.
I think he/she/they/them are waiting on the dip in to the low 5’s to high 4’s to buy……🤣
“ As I said before, if it dips down into the low $5's or high $4's, it will be hard to resist acquiring more NB shares.”
LMFAOOOOOOO
All I’m saying is that claim was also made in the 5’s, 4’s and 3’s by a number of people.
Now anybody who took any of that advice are now down on any shares bought in the 5’s, 4’s and 3’s. So it is quite apparent that the 5’s, 4’s and 3’s were not great buying opportunities. But then again getting caught up in the ole averaging down has not worked out well for anyone who has tried either…
How about 2.20. Is that a good place to start.
Al, with all due respect (I actually like you and find you amusing), if your going to quote me, don't cut and paste excerpts out of context to try and make a point. The post in its entirety is neutral on whether to buy, sell or hold. Here is the actual post not a portion but thanks for trying to score a point. LOL!
"They and everybody else will miss an opportunity to buy low cost shares (IF) NioCorp gets EXIM funding though I would not characterize anyone as being stupid if they don't buy shares because we don't know for certain IF NioCorp will get EXIM funding. People have to make their own decisions on how to manage their own finances. To buy, sell or hold. If NioCorp doesn't get EXIM funding, then back to the drawing board. This has always been a risk high reward investment. Now its getting down to the wire. This is a tumultuous time waiting for an answer out from EXIM. That I can say for certain. And only mgt knows what's going on behind the scenes. Lucky them."
“ They and everybody else will miss an opportunity to buy low cost shares”
With all due respect, this was said in the 5’s, 4’s and 3’s…..
“misleading Bullshit.”
Yep and a ton of it can be found in your posting/pumping history!!!
Did they secure that separate placement because they were getting too close to the floor price?

No one is happy with the share price Putz. We need to move from the development stage to the moving forward with funding and construction phase. These development stage projects always take time, particularly in this industry. I was just reviewing the weekend's posts, since I do not monitor IHUB over the weekends, and responded to some of the misleading Bullshit. That's all.
Come on now, this is the best opportunity in over a decade!!! The institutional investors are soooooo stupid for not buying in at this level. What a bunch of idiots. I’m opening my wallet to buy some more today
Another lie. You obviously didn't read my post or you wouldn't have said what you just said. No defense of mgt. Just stating my case backed up by articles and facts. Again, we can agree to disagree on causes of lack of funding in the Spring of 2020 and the SPAC debacle but don't twist my words and say I am defending mgt. Total hogwash and I am tired of people like you trying to misrepresent what I write. I have my own independent opinion from you, other shareholders AND mgt. Read the post again and stop misrepresenting what I write!

You might want to examine the actual damage brought on to others that fell for the Nioturd Cult Crew Pump Squad that pumped everything under the sun here, which I am very sure you hold that card as one of them. Then each and every time the pumping failed it became excuse after excuse after excuse. Very easy to see who the real swindlers were here….
Sure looks just like I’m the only one commenting on today’s horrible share price and new 52 week lows. Why do you suppose that is?
I suppose everybody thinks it’s the head of the head and shoulders bottom lol
Management must just be wondering “what the fk do we have to do to our share price to get a few emails from investors”.
Incredible
How about this amazing buying opportunity today!!! Wow, don’t let this rare opportunity go unnoticed!
You might want to examine the actual damage reports from on the ground by the National weather service, NEMA and Civil Defense authorities, rather than relying on a very brief early national news story from CBS news. You also might want to look at some pictures from the South and East of the total destruction of the Garner Industries Building, as mentioned by the fire Dept. official, i.e. while the west wall was left standing, that was about it. SMH
There is hope if look at NIOBW. I had Bid at $0.4 all day, but never get any shares.
But there is factual basis that Nioturd is now trading for less than H*MC. You pumped like crazy here and bashed like crazy there….LMFAOOOOOO
There were several homes destroyed, not hundreds. There were hundreds of homes damaged. Break open a dictionary and figure out the meaning of destroyed and damaged. There was not a single reported fatality in Nebraska.
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/tornadoes-hit-nebraska-severe-storms-tear-across-midwest/
Three, count them, one…..two……three people were injured at Garner Industries.
https://www.1011now.com/2024/04/26/northeast-lincoln-building-collapses-storm-rolls-through/
In the words of AO, you’re the definition of misinformation.
Putz, give it up. He is not interested in other people's opinions. Everyone can now see that his flood of contributions, which he now writes every five minutes, are most of the time nothing more than an ode to the management and, given the catastrophic share price, are characterized by a total denial of reality. Since he accuses anyone who has a different opinion than him of insulting him, I have set this person to ignore. This helps to some extent, but unfortunately not completely, since the replies to his posts are still visible.

First off, thoughts and prayers for the fine people of Nebraska and Iowa from the devastation of the tornados . Also, a big thanks to those that have helped and will continue to help those in need.
Silly me, I thought we would be getting a PR this morning....Fooled again :(
Not to add salt in the wound but what year did NioCorp have a .22 cent share price (pre-split)??? I cannot find this information as you probably have to go back decades but curious nonetheless.
Ok,Everyone knows I am a joker and love to have fun so lets have some fun today!! Let’s not let the share price get us down as things could always be way worse.
Let’s play a game called SUPERHERO. In this game what Superhero name would Mark, Scott, Jim, Neal, Dean Kehler and Michael Maselli be called???
I will start the fun:
Mark Smith: Superhero Name “Fool's gold" origin Born with an NDA sleight of hand. Superhero powers: Doing the splits...Reverse split that is. Helps run companies into the ground while becoming a multi-millionaire in the process. Mark, is also very philanthropic as he gives away free company shares to its undeserved BOD who bring nothing to the table.
Scott Honan( I like Scott as he seems like a smart cat) Superhero Name "Crew Cut" Origin: Born to a body building military family deep in the Himalayas. They all sport crew cuts. Even his Mom, sisters, and household pets. Superpowers: Scott’s hair is made from a magic blend of Niobium, scandium, and rare earths. His hair when provoked can kill.
Jim Sims: superhero Name "BUTT KISSER" Origin: Mark Smith was visiting the Smithsonian in DC and Jim was his tour guide. Superpowers: Programed at birth to be a yes man. Additional gifts, Highly paid waiter/ magician that somehow brings nothing to the table.
Neal Shah: superhero name: "The Mayor" Origin: helped mark learn turbo tax. Superpowers: Has so much free time he runs for political office and makes over $400,000+ a year from a company that generates zero revenue.
Dean Kehler superhero Name: "The Tall Man" Origin: Born from a bad SPAC deal making family that made them rich. Superpowers: Can quickly identify a horrible CEO and screw its investors. Has the ability to take advantage of CEO’s who realize soon after they got taken to the woodshed.
Michael Maselli Superhero Name "The Hedge FUND" Origin: Nobody knows. Superpowers: President of a company called GXII that nobody has heard of or know what they do. Additional superpowers, doppelganger look-alike Harvey Weinstein.

T&T. there is no factual basis for your description of the tornado damage in Nebraska, either with regard to the building at Garner Industires in Lincoln, or the total numbers of homes completely destroyed. there were hundreds destroyed in Elkhorn and the surrounding area, not to mention the homes destroyed in Waverly, rural Lancaster County, Bennington, Blair and multiple lakes on the Western edge of Omaha, some with $Multi-Million homes on them, The facts and pictures do not lie, and you just further damage your credibility here, which is pretty much nothing anyway, when you spread fiction like that.
Please by all means. You didn't seem to have a problem promoting the stock and posting endlessly back in the day about how many shares you were 'buying and owned, wallpapering your house and lining your driveway.' I should have sold out like you when NioCorp went to the TSX. I could have retired. We now have another opportunity with EXIM (no guarantees). I am not going to miss that one (if it happens) and be so complacent.
You will be playing taps Friday as the TSX torch is extinguished.
Not 20-30 times a day and responding to every post. You need to take a break away from your computer. I will put you on ignore as well and see the clutter dry up.
I remember you used to post quite a bit 5-11 years ago and nobody ever asked you not to post. Be considerate. Besides I am a shareholder not a former shareholder.
My fault sorry I got upset about something I read here and started selling
Yes, we can talk about that. Not happy about it but not much we can do other than hope folks see buying opportunities until we get EXIM financing. On a positive note, it's very low volume.
A new 52 week low today answer that eom
Putz, I really dont appreciate the personal attack and dont want to have to request a deletion due to violating IHUBS TOS and put you back on ignore. If someone attacks, I have a right to address the attack. Please be civil and follow IHUBS TOS. Thank you.
You are cluttering the board and must sit in front of your computer or phone 24/7 looking to be part of anything on the board. You do not have to respond to every post. They are not directed at you. IHUB posters should be limited to 3-5 posts a day . NB is a great example of a company that has not made a timeline in 5-6 years. This is the direct result of that. 22 cents pre-split. I am guessing the Belgians made another 25 million today on fantasy trading.
DOA, with all do respect, everyone is permitted to post as much or as little or not at all. There are no rules I am aware of on IHUB that restrict posting other than 30 posts a day. Instead of focusing on that, focus on that I actually agree with your statement..
AO- you respond to everyone's post. Not needed.
I agree with the cause. And yes, we need EXIM. Thinking positive thoughts.
As they say, "After Every Storm There is a Rainbow".
https://routinelynomadic.com/after-every-storm-there-is-a-rainbow-quotes/
Geeezuz.
NioCorp is at C$.30 pre-everything. WTF
How normal is that?
So stfu and let one opinion post stay one opinion post.
What does it take to get rid of a shitty share price, when you’re supposed to have the nuts?
*******
What is the fatal flaw?
If you look at the 3 year chart, this has been a disaster. The stock is sitting at levels where the Yorkville agreement will now come into play. This message board has nothing to do with the tailspin in the price. The merger is the number 1 culprit. EX-IM decision is needed ASAP.
Please stop the personal attacks and stay focused on the company or investment. We agree to disagree on certain aspects of what caused this or that to previous financing efforts. I really don't enjoy spending the time to request the deletion of personal attacks and would prefer to take you off of ignore if you can stay focused on the company and or the investment and communicate in a respectful way even if we don't agree. Happy to do the same.
Reading through your posts this weekend, it seems like you sold most of your shares at a loss. That sucks, it really does. But the fact is if I had never joined ihub the share price would be exactly what it is right now. I am not the problem. If anything about this board is causing the company issues, it is far more likely your paranoia and defensiveness painting long-term shareholders in a bad light.
You've been trying to tell me how and what to post for 7 years and it hasn't worked yet. Focus on the investment? When I post something negative about the company you tell me to stop that too. I will continue to post when and how I please.
Omaha Investor, glad you are safe. Thanks for the update.
Please stop trying to perpetuate mayhem on this message board. Let's get back to staying focused on the company and or investment and not other people. It's a simple IHUB TOS rule. As a former shareholder and moderator I am sure you are aware of this. Thank you.

NioCorp Developments Ltd. is a U.S.-based mineral development company focused on developing several superalloy metals from the proposed Elk Creek, Nebraska Critical Minerals Mine. NioCorp plans to produce three commercial mineral products — Niobium, Scandium, and Titanium — from a single ore body in the Midwestern United States. NioCorp's Elk Creek Project is highly unique. It is North America's only niobium / scandium / titanium project. It is the highest grade niobium project in North America. It is one of the largest prospective producers of scandium in the world. Once in production, it will initiate the first production in the U.S. in decades of Niobium and Scandium. All three of the Project's proposed superalloy metals have been designed as "Critical Minerals" by the U.S. Government.
NioCorp is a publicly company that is listed on both the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "NB" and on the U.S.-based OTCQX exchange under the symbol "NIOBF." Shares are also traded on the Frankfurt Exchange, under the ticker symbol "BR3."

Overview of the Elk Creek Project: http://www.niocorp.com/elk-creek-project/
U.S. Geological Society description of Elk Creek Carbonatite
"The Elk Creek carbonatite, located south of Lincoln, has the potential to be one of the largest global resources of niobium and rare-earth elements (REE). These REE's have many important applications in industry, including petroleum-cracking catalysis, steel alloying, and glass polishing, and as sources of permanent magnets and phosphorus for television and lighting.
The Elk Creek carbonatite is buried beneath about 500 feet of overlying rock and is known only from drill cores, which, until recently, have remained proprietary. Scientists from the USGS and the Conservation and Survey Division (CSD) of the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska--Lincoln have studied drill cores."

About NioCorp
NioCorp is developing a superalloy materials project in Southeast Nebraska that will produce niobium, scandium, and titanium. Niobium is used to produce superalloys as well as High Strength, Low Alloy ("HSLA") steel, which is a lighter, stronger steel used in automotive, structural, and pipeline applications. Scandium can be combined with Aluminum to make super-high-performance alloys with increased strength and improved corrosion resistance. Scandium also is a critical component of advanced solid oxide fuel cells. Titanium is used in various superalloys and has extensive uses in aerospace, defense, transportation, medical, and other applications. It also is a key component of pigments used in paper, paint and plastics.
