Anytime you see a spam mail such as the one below (sent just hours before the shutdown), it's almost always a sign that it's a scam. In the case of NVGC, spam was sent out from many penny touters. They never apologize for being wrong. That goes for any touter/pumper anywhere--they are all experts who never apologize--they will blame YOU for being stupid enough for following them.

Fellow Investors,

My analysis thus far has been spot on with NVGC and I feel like I have uncovered yet another catalyst
that will drive the price of NVGC even higher!

If you remember, last Friday we had a slight pullback that was caused by shorts trying to manipulate NVGC for their own gains. NVGC bounced back strong on Monday and the current situation is looking better and better every day.

Those same traders that shorted NVGC on Friday did so right around NVGC's current price. Now if NVGC continues to move higher these traders that shorted the stock in the mid .40 cent range will be forced to cover at a loss. If you are not too familiar with shorting, what happens when they have to cover is that they are forced to buy NVGC at whatever the current market price is. Now, if a bunch of traders go in and buy a stock all at the same time what usually happens?

That's right, the stock starts going parabolic and this is exactly what I think could happen in the very near term with NVGC. Traders do not like to hold short trades into holidays or weekends due to the uncertainty in the markets. With this said I expect many of the same traders that shorted NVGC last week will be buying NVGC to close out their shorts before thanksgiving.

I have said this once before but I have to reiterate. I have never seen a bigger rally within the stock market than when a short squeeze occurs. I have seen stocks move 10,000%. Yes, that is Ten Thousand Percent because there was not enough stock to cover the demand of shorts buying back to close out their trades.

Now I am not saying NVGC is going to move 10,000% but if the positive news from NVGC continues, creating more interested investors paired with the fact that all of these shorts will have to cover we could be in for "the perfect storm" where NVGC goes absolutely crazy creating new high after new high in the process.

Do you want to miss out on a rally like this? I think we both know the answer to that!

baomike - Thanks immensely for the explanations. I’m new at this penny stock stuff (< 1 yr). IMO, if the seller (and/or company) keeps the money knowing that he/they were steeling it, they should be fined, forced to make restitution to the entities they stole it from, and then be sent immediately to jail. In no way should the sheriff (SEC) allow them to keep stolen money. I confess I do not know which (if not all) the companies identified on the link you sent me should be ID'd as risky. I also confess researching pump and dump companies hasn’t been top priority for me when D&Ding. I guess I should include P&D companies on my checklist if that is at all possible. But, I’m really having a hard time D&Ding penny stock strategies’ because I thought all penny stocks start by P&Ding and continue to do so periodically/strategically throughout their existence(which most of the time requires multiple splits and/or cussip changes), or until they generate revenue and move on to the major markets. Oh well, I’ll stop crying in my beer now and move on to managing my other penny stocks. Hope I can sell them before they start dumping – here goes! GLTA and trade well!

We all know exactly "what comes out of this mess."

This opens with a 90% loss on the Greys, and slides slowly toward no bid territory. Along the way, the same group of insiders that pumped this obvious fraud will probably try and claim that this will be the ONE stock that makes it off the death list, that the company is somehow working with the SEC to resolve the "minor issues" that lead to the suspension.. etc etc. I doubt the lies and deceit will suddenly stop, a lot of insiders and promoters got stuck with stock they still want to unload.

Holding any stock overnight with the potential for large volatility such as a large spam email campaign stock with historical volatility in addition to FDA/biotech stocks approaching a key approval date escalates the risk of a undesirable binary event. In biotech one can hedge themselves with options, with a paid promo like this one could box their shares short in a different account pending they were able to find shares hence in a worse case scenario on the long side they are hedged on the short side. There must be a premium to holding a stock overnight otherwise as in this example the possible downside is ferocious. NVGC never really gapped huge at the open ie 20-25%+ therefore it was a stock that was generally meant for intraday trading only.

As to why NVGC was allowed to sell stock, the did nothing wrong (up to a point). Can you imagine the howls if the SEC told them they didn't like the

As for now, the people who sold you the stock get the money. Realize that it was an individual selling you the stock, not the company. The SEC may be able to make a case, and obtain restitution. It happens, it ain't much, but I have actually received such funds.

As for the even keel investing , you are at a great disadvantage. These people deal with it on a continuous basis , there knowledge of what is going on is far superior to anything you can acquire. It is there job.

If its the so called "PUMP & DUMP", once they make their money they can move on. I was taken in by the company as well. Now the problem: All of the information that makes an investment appealing originates from the company. So false amd misleading information comes from the company. If you call them and they are in the process of a pump and dump they will lie, mislead and otherwise make their company look better then great because their goal is to get you to invest. "Buyer be ware" is the key and the least risk is the New York Stock exchange and even there, there are past crooks identified. The NYSE has much more oversight then the Pink sheets that has almost none. The normal process is to do due diligence but that's a problem when the information is controlled by the company. The OTC is a gamble and the risk is yours, be prepared to lose your investment and don't be greedy. Take a nibble if you must and not a huge bite. good luck.

Just to let you and everyone here in on something that should be well known. NI stands for National Instrument.....of Canada....An NI43-101 is ONLY for Cdn exchange listed companies that file to SEDAR.

Any US company, especially an SEC filer, should know that they need to prepare their reports based on SEC Industry Grade 7 Guidelines, and that any mention of an 43-101 report will bring SEC comment letters, requesting the company remove all reference the term.

This is not open for discussion, as it is 100% factual. PERIOD.

Next, that they're using ALS Chemex is good, as they are one of the best and most reputable assaying firms, of which there are very few that produce accurate assays. However, they are just starting exploration, as chip sample collection, and some tailings dump testing is very very early stage.

It will be years And cost $ millions before it can be determined if there is an economic mineral deposit. Very few are. Old records are helpful, but can't be relied on, especially at determining valuation. Costs are much higher these days, and gold and silver prices are near two year lows.

They can't claim any values at this time, or ever actually, legally for what might be in the ground.

I see that this is being promoted...Another reason to exercise caution. These things rarely end well.

You should doubt them! They claimed an inground value, based on an old NI43-101. Two major problems with that. US companies are not allowed to use that style of report, as it is for Cdn issuers, and is to be filed with SEDAR. The SEC is taking notice of companies doing crap like this, and is cracking down swiftly, in some cases. This was one...

And, placing a monetary value on a resource is illegal, as far as the SEC is concerned.

Of course, the company has done nothing but staking a few extra claims. They have no money, and are far away from any drilling decisions. I suppose, if they are serious, they might go ahead and send some chip and surface samples in for assaying, as they said they were going to do. But they now have a more serious problem, which will not be resolved anytime soon, if ever.
