soon to be a done deal looks like. http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1110903/000104746912008062/a2210651zdefm14a.htm
Is this a done deal or may someone come in with higher offer ofsetting break-up fees before this mergers?
Still soliciting other buy out offers through July 18th.
"Under the terms of the definitive merger agreement, NEI is permitted to solicit alternative acquisition proposals from third parties through July 18, 2012 and intends to consider any such proposals. There can be no assurances that the solicitation of such proposals will result in an alternative acquisition transaction. It is not anticipated that any developments will be disclosed with regard to this process unless the Company's Board of Directors makes an affirmative decision to proceed with an alternative acquisition proposal. In addition, NEI may, at any time, subject to the terms of the definitive merger agreement, respond to unsolicited alternative acquisition proposals. The definitive merger agreement also contains certain break-up fees payable to each party in connection with the termination of the definitive merger agreement under certain circumstances."
Now we'll see if they get a CA going or if NEI gets the buy out price up a bit more. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.

Disclosure: I do not currently own shares of NEI nor do I plan to in the next 72 hours. Though I could change my mind to roll the dice.
Yes, payday! Nice it was!
Score one for the BigWool!

We'll see if this inverted hammer has anything to it. Certainly starting to push the oversolds. Last shake out? Or are the Yahoo bashers going to win this round.

hahaha, I hope NEI doesn't get bought; not yet anyways. FB is a joke... just wait til it hits $13...
We should get a nice run into July (IMO - I hope) and get just back above $1; hopefully get some good news with the next qtr report. I'm hanging tight until then.
GO BigWool GO !!!!!
But isn't NEI just about ready to get a Delisting Notice?
Or-- will Zuckerberg announce that FB is buying NEI with profits from their IPO?
Limit order triggered... back in @ $0.77
Go NEI - Let's see a nice run up into July!
Re-evaluating, Re-evaluating-- like my GPS says...
Thinking of waiting till .55
You get yours yet?
Watching to roll the dice here . Divergence looking pretty shaky and a possible repeat of 2008. Put a little gamble on that they get something in the next couple days to keep from getting another delisting notice. Targets around 1.68? suuuuure. All by myself on this one. Prolly see .58 before it gets back to the $. Taking a half position on the dip today if divergence spreads like i think it will.

I am sure it will. I have been a multi year string of bad moves! LOL
now watch it pinch. lol
I am also out yesterday. Thanks!
I'm out for now Big K. Still watching it. Need to keep an eye on the support.
The BOD needs to get a move on. The time is 30 trading days under the $ then they get their delisting notice within a couple days. Think today is day 23. The 29th would be day 30 since the 28th is Memorial Day.
When does it need to be over $1 by again?
Just waiting here for some .72s and a bounce before......
TA can only take you so far.
hahaha, nice alfa.
no volume- euro crisis with CEO that needs to be ousted...

NEI to Showcase New 380V DC and AC Server Platforms at Uptime Institute Symposium NEI Technology to be Featured in Modular Data Center Campus
PR Newswire
CANTON, Mass., May 14, 2012
CANTON, Mass., May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
WHO:
NEI, a leading provider of application platforms, deployment solutions and lifecycle support services for software technology developers and OEMs worldwide, will display its new 380V DC and AC server platforms at the 2012 Uptime Institute Symposium. NEI's new data center solutions, which employ Intel's latest x86 Xeon E5 processors, will be showcased as part of IO's innovative IO.Anywhere® Data Module at the symposium's Modular Data Center Campus.
WHAT:
NEI's ground-breaking 380V DC platforms enable DC-powered data centers to require fewer components, dissipate less heat and significantly improve efficiency, thanks to the elimination of certain power conversion equipment that the majority of today's facilities require. The result is increased reliability and greater uptime, both of which help drive adoption within the data center and propel equipment providers to develop DC data center infrastructure. IO.Anywhere is a fully integrated modular data center system that will feature NEI's server platforms and will be located at Booth D3 inside the Symposium's Modular Data Center Campus.
NEI will also co-host a breakfast on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:30 AM PT with IO and ABB/Validus DC in the Magnolia room.
WHERE:
Uptime Institute Symposium
Modular Data Center Campus - Booth D3
Santa Clara Convention Center

Santa Clara, CA 95054
WHEN:
The Uptime Institute Symposium will take place from May 14-17, 2012. The Modular Data Center Campus will be available for viewing from May 14-15 during exhibit hours.

You bet! GLTA!
Have a good time! Thanks again for all the info.
okidoki! Good to go here BigK, still no .84's but just over finished me for now. See how it goes next week.
Time to go golfing!
Don't see .75.77 happening at least in the "near" future.
I have notice. Mine I got at .84xx .84 even wasn't happening.
IMO
Need to update Ibox - sorry board. I went out on last pop. Think $0.75-$0.77 will be my re-entry.
Next couple quarters will be interesting to watch. NEI been taking some rough hits.
Maybe the MM's are being a little more selective on who's getting the .84's, grrrrr!
Now if I only knew what that meant! LOL

Thanks for the info. Lets see if .84 can keep holding up and if this finally starts to move upward.
IMO
NEI rated as "BUY" on CNBC. I know some of us have been here before ~ I have, being that I normally look for companies that are at least half way decent taken down for one reason or another. My picks are usually under $5 and lean closer to the $1 mark. NEI's losing one revenue stream in a couple quarters but are moving forward with others and have the potential for future growth. The sector has also taken a pretty good hit market wide which doesn't help. One note of semi confidence comes from the form 4 filed just a couple weeks before they posted their financials.
Network Engines NEI $0.840 0.00 0.00% 36.6M 8.6x +21.27%
Take a look at some of their peers as well, I need to DD a couple of them and see if they're worth the risk.
