You aren't wrong. Probably should have had Gainwell in if you were committed to that play. Again. your O line is pushing Atlanta pretty well. I would just give it to Barkley and take my chances
3 more strikes--I'm just hopin' to make it past week 5 now
So what you are saying is three strikes you are out.
Unfortunately I need that opportunity. LOL!
Yep, but what is really strange about that decision to pass to him his record is TERRIBLE at catching passes so what are you doing drawing up a play for a player that the odds are not in your favor I don't get that.
Unfortunately I think after a while that stat gets in a players head.
Kind of like a SS who starts throwing over the 1st basements head situation.
Note: I set the new Hubnutz Survivor 2nd Chance pool to 3 loss elimination---everyone starts Week 3 with zero losses---maybe some of us will get past Week 5---not sure
2024 Football Pools Week 2 results:
Week 2 in the books.. Carnage Part Deux

Tree, Red, and Buckey tied at the top overall
Tree also had the Hi Score in the Confidence this week and Red leads the overall standings
Then there were 8 in the Survivor pool--Posh and Kingping have no strikes
****pool is double loss
NOTE: I have started a 2nd Chance Survivor Pool--suggest all join including those still alive in the main Survivor pool--details in Sticky post
Pick 'em Picks and Standings Week 2:
Confidence Picks and Standings Week 2:
Survivor Picks and Standings Week 2:
I'm sorry but that statement actually made me chuckle
I have started a 2nd Chance Survivor pool due to the early exit of 13 of our players---this pool is just for fun...
the King winner will still come from the Survivor pool---good luck to the 8 still alive
I suggest the players still alive in the main Survivor pool join/play this one as well if you'd like to continue picking after elimination from the main pool...
this pool starts in Week 3 and is set to 3 loss elimination

I've seen all of them unfortunately LOL
I heard on the radio this morning that he leads the league in drops by a RB over the last 4 years
How about call a run play since you have been running it well and if you get close. Run the tush push on 4th down,
If you don't get close. Kick the FG with 1:05 left
I bet a late in-game parlay PHI +2.5 and over 37.5, when score was 15-10 Atlanta. Late in the 4th with score 18-15 Philly I thought my only real hope to cover the over was for PHI to get a TD on their next to last possession. As it turned out, if Barkley had caught the ball for the first down and didn't score, PHI could have run out the clock, but instead it was 4th down and PHI kicked the FG making it 21-15. Then Cousins proves he still has it and pulls out the game 22-21 and I catch both ends of my parlay. It hardly ever turns out like that.
Fitting end to a miserable pickin' week for me--flashback watching Barkley put (another) one on the floor...
I watched my win go bye bye.
See the ball catch the ball.
Naaaaaaaaaaa, give me more money!
Saquon thought he was back with the GMen---drops a wide-open 5 yd flare on a 3rd and 3 with Atlanta having no timeouts---shudda been game over---wow
oops, hang in there, its gotta get better
I wish I would have only missed 7 games.
Yep. Didn't look bad live at first but that replay. Yuck. He is out at least 6 weeks and possibly the season
They really do need to play more in the preseason. Lots of bad football in the first couple of weeks. Offensive timing is way off. The league also needs to tre-evaluate the FG. I doubt that they will
That was ugly when they showed Pacheco's leg bent back.
I just wish teams would play starters more in pre season.
I understand they are trying to evaluate new players.
But ................ so many of the starters are so rusty it takes few games before they are back to using all their skill sets the way they do once having played in real time.
So consequences occur.
I been noticing this more and more since they eliminated that one pre season game.
Losing Brown and Pacheco in back to back days is going to be a tough hurdle for my Chiefs
Its early and the season still has to sort itself out. Dominate teams will emerge but everyone is capable of getting beat
yep you did good, with some of the big names losing this week do you think Parity is approaching
there were some teams out there yesterday that played like rookies
I actually am having a good week in the other two. I had both Tampa and NO
Yes you do. Pretty soon with injuries the nfl will be the rookie league.
after this weeks games ya gotta really watch things....
You have to be careful. When you do your picks and save then do your confidence picks and save, go back and check your picks. I have had them changed to none picks and had to re save some of them.
I missed 7 games this week in pick em, got to pay more attention but this was a crazy week
Thank you, my friend.
He did interfere. Just as Wanya Morris did have hands to the face on the previous play, wiping out a 51 yard gain.
I couldn't get it to let me make a pick for week 2. Having said that, I would have lost as I would have had SF. LOL
first 4 weeks usually tell the tale or at least makes it a little easier to pick winners
only 8 left in survivor pool
For me there was no doubt it was PI.
Totally out played the Chiefs and then they do that. Unreal.
I had Chiefs but ................. I like my picks to EARN their wins.
Seahawks sure didn't earn their win.
First thing I read is well it was an ugly win but they got it.
Noooooooooo, it revealed serious problems that will hurt them down the road.
Pats reminded me of the Hawks back in 2013 when they were the tough ones no one wanted to play.
Ravens
Dallas
Detroit
49ers
All .......... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Glad they don't enforce these things on Hail Mary's
It looked like PI to me. 33 runs into his back before the ball got there, preventing 4's back pedaling progress and cutting his jump short.
Yup---saw it...was it PI? sure, according to the letter of the rulebook...I've seen many not called---many that were more egregious
in any case, I'm more disgusted the GMen took kicker Graham Gano off the injury list Saturday and didn't bring up a backup with 2 feet...Gano has a groin injury---on the opening KO, he pulled a hammy getting involved in the run back---Giants tried the punter who missed the 1st xtra point---then never attempted a kick again---including passing on a couple chip shot FG's in the 4th Q---they lost on a FG with time running out---idiots----still
Was this pass interference or did the Chiefs get bailed out?

Did you see the play?
He got their way early they showed the replay.
It was definitely PI
Stupid mistake.
Cinci out played them should have won the game.
Just like the Pats should have beat the Seahawks.
Seahawks got their ass kicked all over the field but got lucky.
Pats look like a team that is going to be good.
They are one tough team that beat up the Seahawks line offense and defense.
Pass interference on Cincy on a 4th and 16-----sure LOL
