I adore Randy Rainbow! He’s so darn clever!
Nightmare Before Christmas
I haven’t gotten into the second season yet but the first season was fun. The previews to the second season remind me of that show “Galavant” that only ran for a couple of seasons a few years back.
I’m done.
My nerves are totally shot right now so I am not going to raise my blood pressure arguing with you.
then there is no reason to watch his daily updates.
I stopped watching him months ago! His voice is enough to want me to put a hot poker in my eye.
Unfortunately all of the news channels still show excerpts from them.
I always thought you were smarter derf.
All of the politicians are liars. Kennedy lied, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama....all liars.
Trump may have one good trait, and that's his stubbornness to try to achieve the things he promised in his campaign promises. Which is something no other President in history ever did. I may not agree with them all, but he is trying.
Again, if you feel he is always a liar, then there is no reason to watch his daily updates. For your own sanity quit watching.
Funny, but I was watching the mini series about George Washington on The History Channel the other day (plenty of time now). At one point, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison started their own newspaper to get out anti Washington propaganda because they were ticked Washington always listened and went along with Alexander Hamilton.
I wonder if George ever exclaimed "fake news!"?
Apparently, this has gone on far longer than imagined.
I wasn't going to respond to this at all because we will never agree but then you posted this sentence:
In truth, Trump could tell you all is well and you would immediately assume he's lying.
Of course I would assume that he is lying because he is a GOD DAMN LIAR!
He has lied over 16,000 times since he took office.
Maybe you are ok with liars but I am not.
As typical, we have very different perspectives. I see Cuomo stating, "Send us more than everyone else! We are more important than the rest of the country". He's like the George Steinbrenner of Governors.
What I see from Trump is an attempt to calm things, but he keeps going off script and goes into rambling mode from time to time. I don't know if he does it to avoid answering questions, but he does have a habit of cutting off questions in mid sentence then stating his take on what the question may have been.
With that said, I'm so tired of reporters hammering him with questions about what he did or didn't say in January. Move forward people! It makes no difference now how it was handled 2 or 6 months ago. This also goes for those who blame Obama when he was in office for not restocking.
So few people want to be proactive, most want to look to place blame.
In truth, Trump could tell you all is well and you would immediately assume he's lying. So for you, well you shouldn't be watching his Press Conferences. It serves you no benefit.
he is always so good.
i keep seeing and hearing the message "stay safe". it should be "stay sane".
During WWI and WWII people came together. After 9/11 the country came together for a bit also but this time seems different.
Around here people are acting very bitter at times. I think daily press conferences are adding to the bitterness.
While I find Andrew Cuomo to be very calming there are many people who are not happy with how he has been handling things.
On the other hand I had to stop watching the press conferences from the White House. When the My Pillow guy is asked to speak during this time all credibility goes out the window for me.
that too. sweet dreams.
Or about mice invading my house.
too deep? it's a commentary about people pulling together.
I don't get it
maybe more you?
o.k., i've been sitting on this one but was hesitant to post for fear of being perceived as politically supportive. i think you know where i stand on that and know that this is a comment on the spirit of the american people. this is new again.
Being married to an Italian made it even funnier to me and to him also!
I'm sure 20 people would have and you could have watched me on youtube. No thanks.
Why is your husband so mean?
(this was before having a cell phone)
too bad, you could have filmed it.
omg, that was hilarious.
Yes. Great scene. Which reminds me...one day I was using someone's car that they were about to sell and I'm driving down the highway while people are pulling up to me and yelling, "your car is on fire!". Well, by the third car I knew my car was on fire but I'm waving them off and just thinking, "if I can just get to where I need to go, I'll stop the car there". Not even considering that it just might blow up. Finally, it hits me. MY CAR IS ON FIRE!!...So I pull over to the side of the freeway and run from the car,and of course the winds are blowing that day and as the tires finally catch on fire and the insulation under the hood and the winds are blowing across the freeway instead of away from them and the entire freeway pretty much comes to a crawl as people are afraid to drive through the thick smoke.
Now I'm standing there trying to decide how far I need to walk to the nearest gas station (this was before having a cell phone), the fire trucks are there to put out the fire and directing traffic and just then, one of my buddies driving down the freeway and comes along side to give me a ride finding great humor in my situation.
Of course the insurance paid more for the car than it was worth so the owner was quite happy.
lol.
from my all time favorite comedy.
Yes, yes, no, yes, you can't get there from here, government conspiracy. Never work
will there be aisle police? 3 violations and you're banned? passing lanes? can you skip aisles. if you only want to go to one aisle how do you get there, and once there, how do you get out? directed past what they want you to see? it will be interesting to see if it works.
Which way? And should it be the opposite way in England? and how the heck do you enforce it?
I have always thought there should be one way aisles in the supermarket and I hope this will continue even after this.
You should make a documentary short.
our neighborhood is quite urban but it still was something of a bedroom community. now, people are outside walking and talking. things will probably never be "normal" again but not every change is bad. jury still out on one way aisles at the walmart.
That was great! I saw a completely different ending coming.
It reminds me of something that's a tiny bit similar that's happened in my neighborhood. We moved into our neighborhood 20 years ago. We noticed that one of the families towards the front of the neighborhood had 2 German Shepherds that the man trained in the front yard most days. Of course, with a young daughter it was always thrilling for her to see them as we drove by. Then a few years later, there was a young son toddling about while the training was going on. Then we had another daughter who was thrilled when we drove by and saw them outside training. Then, of course, they were getting older and older and it became less training and more sedate activities. Then there was only one and we were all sad. Then a couple of months later there were two pups with the older one out front. Then the older one was laying on the front porch watching as the two younger ones trained. Then, sadly, the last older one was no longer out front. Last year, they had a Graduating Class sign for their son.
We've only met the family a couple of times but I feel a connection to them watching them grow and lose loved ones. I know not at all the same but it reminded me of how people can feel like your community even if you don't know them.
Anyways, thanks for passing that along. Well, worth a watch imo.
how about tiny desk?
Oh geez! definitely not!

Needed more nudity
i'm happy that you liked it.
It was very good...sad but uplifting.
it's not highbrow, it's human. watch the movie and let me know what you think.
when did you get so highbrow?
i hope you like this. i'm not kidding when i say that this is one of the best movies i have ever seen. there is so much right about it; acting, directing, writing, music, and it's all packed into 20 minutes. here is the 2019 academy award winner for best short film.
