Interesting haven't seen this much volume touch this stock in a long time:)
Can we get some real volume here? Not just paint
MACD turning, chart looking for reversal. Extremely thin to pennies. 1 million volume would take this to a nickle
MODTQ=Clean shell, no debt, possible R/M with GDIV

SPI Manufacturing
SPI Manufacturing was the largest designer, manufacturer and wholesaler of commercial and light industrial modular building structures. In 1998, the company merged with Modtech Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MODT), the largest manufacturer of modular, relocatable classrooms.
If you google Modtech Holdings you come up with:
Modtech Holdings, Inc.
2830 Barrett Avenue
Perris, CA 92571
If you go to www.Southernmod.com the address listed there is:
SMI CALIFORNIA
2830 Barrett Avenue
Perris, CA 92571
Southern Mod is a multi million dollar company and they are temporarily leasing the ModTech website and building.
The property itself is being sold for 6.9 million:
http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/16389946/2830-Barrett-Ave-Perris-CA/
Modtech was still operating as a Debtor in possession in 2008:
http://la.curbed.com/archives/2008/10/prefab_sad_modtech_holdings_files_chapter_11.php
It is very clear that something is brewing here behind the scenes. Southern Modular is leasing Modtech's building to possibly figure out the market and to expand. A major question here is if Southern Modular is interested in acquiring this shell.
Also, according to filings, Modtech had around $40 million in assets and only $34 million in debt. That means the company is cash flow positive. Another reason why COMMONS WILL REMAIN INTACT
If Southern Modular wants to go public.. what better way to do it with someone elses shell if all conditions are met!
Also notice on the ModTech main site, that it was last updated in December of 2010. SOMETHING IS BREWING.
And lastly, if you call the number on the Modtech web site, it forwards you to Global Modular, Inc. another multi million dollar company. Right on Global Modulars website it states: "A Global Diversified Company". Global Diversifieds website is:
http://www.gdvi.net/
GDVI is an OTC stock trading under GDIV.OB:
Here is an assumption:
1. I assume GDVI owns Modtechs assets now since the number is forwarding to them..why the heck would you have a old number forwarding to your company if you were not involved somehow IMO...
2. I assume GDVI owns this shell and shares now..I don't see who else could be in possession of this if they did indeed buy out Modtech...thats my assumption from the fact that Modtechs number is calling Global Modular..
3. Likely the best bet for information if they will give it out is to call and or email Global Modular about the matter:
Global Modular Incorporated
1200 Airport Rd. • Chowchilla, CA 93610
Phone: (559) 665-5800 • Fax: (559) 665-5700 • Email: manufacturing@gdvi.net
So I guess the big question is.. does Global Modular now own this shell? Does Global Modular own the assets of Modtech completely now? Did they buy them out? Why is Modtech's number forwarding to Global Modular?
A former director says there have been no talks of restructuring commons, which leads to believe they WILL BE INTACT upon emerging from BK with the help of either Global Modular or Southern Modular.
MODTQ is a low floater with very little eyes, it moves on air. Once the market catches on about all these goodies then we will fly to dimes.

Look at this: http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=historical&symbol=MODTQ
Look at the PPS during the largest volume days. This retraced on pathetic volume since then. Huge runner
Volume has a tenancy to randomly appear and disappear daily. Look at all the stocks that have ever run 500%+ and you will see that the days leading up to the jump, there was little to no volume. This had a 4 MILLION volume day just a week ago where the average price was .025
That means that the majority of the people that own this stock, all own it above .01, the few sellers are impatient holders selling for a loss. This is due for a major run
its over now, A group could buy up the float without fear of the company dumping fresh share into the market and killing the stock. So while Q stocks do offer the very rare reemergence from bankruptcy with common stock intact play, they also are ripe for manipulation. moving on now its over no volume .
Where have you been the past 3 months... all the big runners were bankrupt stocks. When companies come out of bankruptcy, their share price corrects and skyrockets.
Want To Buy Stock Of Bankrupt Company? And if you do what type of return do you think ,
A penny stock with a fifth letter is usually a bankrupt, a foreign company, or a stock that has recently performed a stock split. If the company is bankrupt the stock ticker gets a Q at the end of it.
that is great news and the nice DD done by this board has every sign of this one coming out of bk intact. go MODTQ
MODTQ - QSG*Q STYLE 10 BAGGER FROM HERE - Former director says there have been no plans of restructuring commons, which leads to believe they WILL BE INTACT upon emerging from BK with the help of either Global Modular or Southern Modular.
its dead again ,not looking good here
Former director says there have been no talks of restructuring commons, which leads to believe they WILL BE INTACT upon emerging from BK with the help of either Global Modular or Southern Modular.
Lol its not filling my buys at the ask +1 tick
So is this a clean shell? Are any information that is expected soon or with the next few months? I know its a rumor but are there any facts leading to the rumor of commons intact?
since the start of the second quarter it has booked approximately $11 million in new business, the majority of which is expected to be completed by the end of 2008.
"Moreover," said Dennis Shogren, president and chief executive officer, "there is approximately $16 million of business in the military, government, and commercial sectors for which we are either the apparent low bidder, or for which we have received a notice of intent to award pending final approval.

Yes, but can you call from where you are now?
;)
LOL! This is Dead~
If you call the number on the ModTech website, it directs you to http://www.globalmodular.net
Very interesting to say the least so many connections everywhere
Wouldnt hurt either if the company had better sense in regards to investor relations. Walmart has their stock price on the wall on the way to the john. So you know they care. MODTQ could throw a bone right here.

It is very clear that something is brewing here behind the scenes. Southern Modular is leasing Modtech's building to possibly figure out the market and to expand....now it is up to us to dig and find out what those plans are! A major question here is if Southern Modular is interested in acquiring this shell or if they already have.

sample - don't be classless man. Good luck with your trading
The market cap is so ridiculously tiny right now. And the board is fairly new and unused. This will skyrocket once everyone reads up on the DD and decides to jump on board. Could easily rival BUT*Q
Keep it up, we need the exposure!
...and down she goes!
LOL!
A million volume day would blow this up
5k share paint :). You are speaking to maybe a handful of people, look at the post count lol. Preaching only works when a board is full, like BUTLQ :)
REALLY!?! LOL! This is Going Down!
USE CAUTION HERE FOLKS!!!!
Not at all. At least that one has Volume and can support the Ask and Bid!
:)
Heh he followed me here. I guess I touched a nerve :)
Kind of like BU***. Use caution there!!!
This doesn't look Good.
No Volume.
Big Spread.
Next Buy brings the PPS Down.
USE CAUTION HERE FOLKS!!!
Then do it.
Thats right, and only ~850 posts on this board, we are pioneering here.
this is not just another Q stock, this used to be an industry leader in their field, filed ch11 and continuing their operations while the ch11 reorganization is underway. this one is a potential goldmine for risk taking investors.
and the MERGED one went BK, however continuing their operation under DIP. what's their next move will? it's time for the company to release news or file some 8-k or financials.
It means that two of the biggest names in their respective industries, merged together and formed this stock.
Probably an old page
Not much detail in this but figured i would post it to see if you guys thought it could mean anything......
