I haven't sold yet, so I'm not sure I will lose anything !!!
How much have people lost on this? I've personally lost a grand.
I did try Larry after the last release you posted. Nada

Grandview Gold Inc Encounters Visible Gold at Dixie Lake Projectand Mobilizes to Sanshaw Bonanza in Red Lake Gold District
February 13, 2008, - Toronto, Ontario - Grandview Gold Inc. (TSX Symbol: GVX, OTC-BB Symbol: GVGDF) ("Grandview" or the "Company") is pleased to report that the Company has completed a short drill program at its Dixie Lake property in the 30 million ounce gold Red Lake Mining District of Ontario and encountered visible gold. Dixie Lake assays are pending and the Company has mobilized to the Sanshaw Bonanza Property (“Property”), also in the Red Lake District.
“Ice conditions are ideal for us to begin our Sanshaw program. We completed a short drilling program at our Dixie Lake property while waiting for the ice to thicken at Sanshaw, and the drill and crew have now mobilized to Sanshaw to begin our 2500 metre (8,202 ft) diamond drill program there,” says Grandview President and CEO Paul Sarjeant. “Our geologists continue to log core from the last of two holes drilled at Dixie to better define mineralization in the newly discovered NS Zone, and assays are pending. We did encounter what I would call considerable visible gold in vein structure at depth and we anticipate good results along with an increased understanding of the geology within the NS Zone.” The Company will return to the Dixie Lake property later this field season, to follow-up on results of these holes and continue the 2008 exploration program.
The Sanshaw-Bonanza Property is located southwest of and contiguous with the Goldcorp Inc. (“Goldcorp”)/Premier Gold (“Premier”) JV Rahill-Bonanza property, and south of the Gold Eagle and Broulan Reef gold projects. Goldcorp’s famous 11 million ounce gold Red Lake Mine, the lowest-cost production gold mine in the world, is located five kilometres east of the Property. See Regional Activity Map below or http://www.grandviewgold.com/Gold_Properties/Red_Lake_Gold_District
Drilling is planned to begin targeting the possible extension of a structure identified by Premier and Goldcorp and will progress to other identified structural and geophysical targets. The Property has seen considerable past exploration and, while Grandview geologists have done a thorough compilation of previous activity to better understand geology, control and geometry of mineralization within the Orlac deposit, this 2500 metre program is the first drilling done by the Company.
“These are early days for us at Sanshaw,” says Sarjeant, “but we have high hopes for the Property of course and it feels right for us to be there within a stone’s throw of Goldcorp.” Earlier this month, the Rahill-Bonanza property, contiguous to the northeast with Grandview’s Property, received a 43-101 compliant inferred mineral resource estimate of its Bonanza Deposit, a joint venture between Premier and Goldcorp’s Red Lake Gold Mines.
The Property has been explored and drilled quite extensively around the historic Orlac deposit discovered by Orlac Red Lake Mines Ltd in 1946-47, with excellent gold assays including Hole #NBZ-88-10 drilled by Pure Gold Resources in 1988, which graded 4.53 g/T over 26m with a 5.5m interval grading 13.65 g/T, 3.3m grading 22.22 g/T and 2m grading 34.94 g/T. For a detailed list of significant intercepts from previous drilling and associated exploration results visit the Sanshaw-Bonanza pages of the Grandview website at www.grandviewgold.com.
All significant gold mineralization outlined to date on the Property appears to be directly related to two stages of mineralized quartz veining within conjugate fracture shear-sets within the granodiorite Dome Stock or within its contact zone. The current drill targets can be better defined as more “classic” Red Lake gold hosted quartz vein/shear type deposits.
Previous drilling and geophysical surveying has indicated a potential for additional mineralization along a North-South structural trend, offshore of Whitehorse Island. With continued positive results from the Premier Gold Mines' drill program to the north-east, there is also potential for the south-west continuation of their Rahill-Bonanza zone (CP Zone) onto the Property.
About The Property
Grandview entered into an agreement with EMCO Corporation S.A. (“EMCO”) effective October 30, 2006 for an option to earn an undivided 60 percent interest in the Property by incurring $250,000 (CAD) in resource exploration and development expenditures on or before August 31, 2007, In July of 2007, the Company signed an amendment to its option agreement (the “Agreement”) with EMCO extending the option period by an additional year through to August 31, 2008 and spending $500,000 (CAD) in work commitments.
The Property was first staked by the Sanshaw Mines Syndicate, which later became Sanshaw Mines Ltd. In 1937 Sanshaw drilled 1178 metres, with a 9.1 metre shaft sunk on Whitehorse Island. From 1939 to 1941, MacKenzie Red Lake Gold Mines drilled 17 holes for 353.6 metres.
During World War II work on the Property was suspended until 1946-47 when Orlac Red Lake Mines Ltd deepened the shaft to 139 metres and established levels at 68 and 106 metres (termed the Orlac deposit). During this period, Orlac drilled 701 metres of underground development, 15 surface holes that totaled 1655 metres, and 523 metres in 54 underground drill holes.
In 1948, Cable Mines and Oils Ltd. drilled four surface holes at 1200 metres, followed by 4,207 metres drilled between 1958 and 1965. At this time, Cable Mines and Oils Ltd. issued a statement that read that, above the 375 ft. level, a resource of 175,000 tons averaging 0.20 ounces of gold per ton had been calculated (historical resource as per Ferguson, S.A. 1966, Geology of Dome Township. District of Kenora; Ontario Department of Mines, Geological Report 45). Following this discovery, Cable Mines Oils Ltd. continued drilling sporadically, testing northern extensions to mineralization.
Bonanza Red Lake Explorations Ltd. moved in 1979 and conducted geophysical surveys, followed by a six hole drill program. The best intersection was reported from hole B79-1, which returned 0.159 ounces per ton over 17.02 feet. This was followed by Pure Gold Resources Inc. who in 1987-88, optioned the property, and conducted exploration on behalf of Noramco Mining Corporation. Diamond drilling of 48 holes totaling 6,637 metres, took place along the east side of Whitehorse Island and on the lake just off the northeast side of the island. In 1988 - 89 Noramco completed a further 34 holes for a total of 4785 metres in a follow-up program, & outlined a mineralized zone 3 to 5 metres wide, 150 metres long and 125 metres deep. Grades within the zones ranged from up to 2.1 to 12.7 g/T.
Caution should be used when evaluating these resources as they were calculated prior to NI 43-101 existing and a qualified person has not done work to classify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource.
About the Red Lake Gold District
The Red Lake Gold Mining District in northwestern Ontario is to Canada what the Carlin Gold Trend is to the United States, and what Witwatersrand District is to South Africa - the most prolific gold producing region in the entire country.
Since the mid-1960's The Red Lake District has yielded over 30-million ounces of gold worth over USD$24 billion at today's prices and is home to Goldcorp's Red Lake Mine, one of the richest, lowest cost production mines in the world. The Red Lake Mine produces approximately 600,000 ounces worth USD$480 million annually, with over 11 million ounces (USD $8.8 billion) gold to date.
Despite Red Lake's long history, the most prolific discovery was made just ten years ago. Dickenson Mines Ltd. had been successfully operating the Arthur White Mine in the region since 1948 and was acquired by Goldcorp in 1989. After applying advanced science and contemporary perspective to the former Arthur White Mine site and surrounding area, and implementing an impressive exploration program, Goldcorp made one of the highest grade gold discoveries in the world, averaging 9.08 ounces of gold over 7.5 feet on nine drill holes.
The now high profile Red Lake district has attracted nearly 60 juniors over the past five years and District real estate has elevated to blue chip status.
Grandview has considerable interests in the Red Lake District and on the Red Lake Gold Trend. These three projects, namely Sanshaw-Bonanza, Dixie Lake and Loisan, plus interests in Manitoba's emerging Rice Lake District fit perfectly into the Company's Canadian exploration strategy of applying advanced geology, geophysics and geochemistry to the Red Lake & Rice Lake greenstone belts.

Thanks Cheezy. So far I've had some pretty awesome luck on '08. Just not here.
You too, I hope you have a great year.
Ok guys, what am I missing with this? Is LS part of this one too?
Carole
wicked good plan!

fantastic leader you are!
did ya hafta go blab it out like that?
now they will be looking for the guns!
wupsy
sure a lot of fuss over this so called "waste of time" project.
still makes me wonder why paulie wont talk
OK, here's the plan: we let them go ahead and mine our property. Then, when the ore's above ground and processed, we swoop in and demand our goods.
Bingo! We get it without all the processing costs and we make a ton!

Grandview Gold Inc Commences Drilling in Red Lake Gold District;Follows-Up on High Grade Assays of 22.9 g/T, 61.97 g/T, and 163.75 g/T in New NS Zone
January 24, 2008, - Toronto, Ontario - Grandview Gold Inc. (TSX Symbol: GVX, OTC-BB Symbol: GVGDF) ("Grandview" or the "Company") is pleased to report that the Company has commenced drilling on its Dixie Lake Property (the “Property”) in the 30 million ounce gold Red Lake Mining District of Ontario, Canada. The five-hole diamond drilling program follows up on drilling done on the Property last season (see Company news release dated September 18, 2007, titled Grandview Gold Announces Significant Red Lake Drilling Results) which resulted in the discovery of high-grade gold intercepts in the new NS Zone and continuation of four existing mineralized zones.
At the Property, Grandview geologists will concentrate on the newly discovered NS Zone, to further test the mineralization in and around the thick alteration zone, where three quartz veins containing visible gold were intersected returning assays of 2.23 g/T gold over 1.5 m (2 gold grains were observed) from 173.9-175.4 m, 163.75 g/T gold over 0.47 m from 181.83-182.30 m (>90 grains of gold were observed) and 22.90 g/T over 2.86 m from 200.62-203.48 m including 61.97 g/T over 1m from 202.12-203.12 m (see Company news release dated September 18, 2007).
The Company had planned on initiating the 2008 Red Lake exploration season by drilling 2,500 metres (8,202 ft) over 12 to 15 holes at the Sanshaw-Bonanza property, contiguous to the Goldcorp/Premier Rahill-Bonanza property, to test mineralization around the old mine workings and also step out and drill geophysical/structural targets beneath the ice. However, in order to best advantage time spent preparing drill pads and waiting for ideal ice conditions at Sanshaw-Bonanza, Company management opted to accelerate the exploration program for the Dixie Lake Property and return to the Dixie NS Zone for follow-up drilling. Upon completion of the five-hole drill program at Dixie Lake, Grandview geologists will mobilize immediately to Sanshaw-Bonanza to join Company geologists already on site and initiate the drill program there.
“On surface it appears that things are going very well for us at Dixie and we will certainly gain important information that will help us target more accurately when we return to Dixie again later in the season. I expect that our Red Lake team will be ready to leave Dixie and mobilize to Sanshaw-Bonanza before the end of January. We would have been on the ice at Sanshaw already but we are waiting on mother nature to deliver a few more days of extreme cold to build the required ice thickness. In the end, this is a positive development for the Company as we will supplement our Dixie data base, and admittedly our Canadian geologists were very eager to return to the NS Zone and build on their understanding of its potential,” says Grandview President and CEO Paul Sarjeant.
About Dixie Lake
Grandview has an option agreement with Fronteer Development Group, to earn a 64% interest in the 1,664 hectare Dixie Lake property located just 16 miles south of Goldcorp's 11 million ounce Red Lake Mine, one of the richest, lowest cost production gold mines in the world. The Red Lake Mining District has produced over 30 million ounces gold worth over USD$26 billion at today's prices.
The Property was first drilled in 1944 by A. Boyle and sporadically thereafter by companies like Newmont, Teck and Fronteer. The Property represents one of the most attractive undeveloped resource areas in the Red Lake Belt. Diamond drilling conducted on the Dixie Lake gold property prior to Grandview's participation, generated economically interesting gold grades in three dimensions. Teck Corporation, in 1990, calculated a tonnage for the 88-4 zone of 1.1 million tons grading 0.10 ounces gold per ton. This inferred gold resource included high grade intercepts up to 15.60 g/t gold over 2.83m (from DL89-09) at depths of less than 50m. Grandview has not completed the work required to verify this historical estimate and is not treating this historical estimate as being compliant with current standards under 43-101 and as such this historical estimate should not be relied upon.
About Sanshaw-Bonanza
Grandview entered into an agreement with “EMCO” effective October 30, 2006 for an option to earn an undivided 60 percent interest in the Sanshaw-Bonanza property by incurring $250,000 (CAD) in resource exploration and development expenditures on or before August 31, 2007. In July of 2007, the Company signed an amendment to its option agreement (the “Agreement”) with “EMCO” extending the option period by an additional year through to August 31, 2008.

I wish, but jail is to good for him, a public floging sounds much better.
so has anything new emerged here? any action against the ceo in court?
two people with the same broker can arrange a direct trade for gray sheet stocks. ie: both people contact the broker and arrange the direct trade from one acct to the other at a specified price.
i haven't done this, but when EQBM went gray, i confirmed with ameritrade that they would do this if requested.
roger that price and size have to match..its not what has to be..it is that there is no broker to match up buyer and seller so without a broker you need to have the info all identical in order for the system to put it together.
Supposedly on the grey's you have to have an exact match to be able to sell shares. JMHO
browndawg
I was also fishy with those "matched trades"... Even RWGI, another company that got completely f'd up in operation spamalot, had some pretty weird volume #s.
Maybe a market sell can be matched with a bigger buy order? Maybe they only match prices but not sizes?
I dunno.
someone unloaded 3.6 mill on the greys
and this is the thing here, how the hell do you fluke and match and order like that...on the greys?
unknown price
and for 3,698,154 shares?
how the hell does that happen?
uhhh hey larry wanna buy my 3,698,154 shares?
thad about dewit
Lol it's been official for a year already.

yes it is another of his corps.
I don't think it does, other than having had the same ownership.
do you think it has ANYTHING to do with our investments in EQMG or SOMPF? Like they are somehow in the past, linked? Just a dream/thought.
Carole
I really don't think it has much to do with SOMPF or EQBM.
Larry seems to have a lot of ventures in the mill, and we continue to hope he can concentrate on bringing value to our shares in the near futuer - - enough is enough, and I feel we have given him plenty of slack to get things completed and a verifiable PR published !!
JMHO
Couch
What if anything, does this have to do with our EQBM and or Sompf stock? Was this a partner or joint venture with EQBM or Soma? What am I missing? That Larry's got another corporation? Not surprising, I'm sure he has many. Why's this one filed in Florida?
Any responses appreciated.
Nest Egg
FWIW - -
Larry emailed me and stated he had sold Allixon, but still had a small piece of it- - his words !!!
no idea, axnp had a name change and a reverse split, looking at pinksheets and florida sos, it looks like he is still involved with it, as to what he is doing i have no idea.
I was busy working on another investigation when this new file was dropped on my desk, you might say.
If nothing has changed, when i finish that one, i am going to throw myself at ole larry here, see whats going on. I have been somewhat out of the loop, check in frm time to time but, i dont see anything happening.
That last press release left much to be desired, only two months away from the anniversary of the suspension, and frankly i see no reason why he has not made any substantial progress...maybe i am wrong maybe he has, but enough is enough
it is obviously not going to reconcile itself, and i dont see many folks here digging to hard, so maybe i will just have to take a serious look into this situation.
the man should seriously get on with whatever the plan was/is?
whatever he has a lot of people on hold and the silence is one thing...IGNORANT!

Holiday Greetings to you and your family as well.
Let's hope we can find some way to stimulate Larry in 2008, to get er done, for us longs !!!
Couch
righty, great catch.
However, I am not sure what I am reading, or seeing.
You obviously are seeing something here, so very much appreciate what you think it is that you are seeing??
Best guesses on what is up Larry's sleeve other than investor money at this point?? TIA.
righty, couch, and all other long term fellow EQBM/SOMA bagholders, I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
examine the following very closely folks.

Don't forget... even if you can sell... you need an individual ( sucker) willing to buy your shares... i don't see that out there. I'd love to sell mine. I would also need about .50 and .0001 on eqbm.
Hey Couch that's my line!. LOL And back of the napkin that means I need at least $.50 on SOMPF and I would need to sell EQBM @.0001 for basis purposes.
I love it if you could confirm it by asking your local Scottrade.
I called and talked with a guy named Joel and he promised to get back to me. He hadn't so I called back talked to a different guy and pointed out that my account said I couldn't buy OR sell whereas the list under clearing restrictions said I could sell only. He did get back to me and said I have to call in the sell, but I COULD sell. I continue to "WAIT". (followed by slightly painful insane laughter!)
WTL - -
You forgot to mention that we would also now have LONG TERM CAPITOL GAIN, which would save about 20/30% of the stock sale price !!
xgin, you are saying you can now trade your SOMPF through Scottrade? Last I checked they were not allowing it to be sold or bought. No that I doubt you, but just wanting to double check that for sure Scottrade is officially allowing it to be sold through them? Have you tested any smaller sales?
Great news if that is true. Well, it is great news if Larry's waaaaaiiiiiiiittttttttttt message really means something. lol. Not laughing for the enjoyment of it, but for the pity and pain of it all.
As said, at least he didn't say one more week........... on the other hand, with his track record getting the wait sign is not all that encouraging either.
Larry, in spite of all the misery and pain we shareholders have been put through, you could still make some if us happy if you would do something real with Dalain and announce real Revenues, real Geological findings that show lots of findings of expensive metals, and put out a detailed plan of how you (and we as shareholders) are going to reap in the windfall of mining Dalian. Special metals are breaking records for price appreciation. China is red hot business wise. You couldn't ask for a more perfect storm of ingredients. You are the missing link. We think you can do it. We hope you can do it. As the Nike commercial says, JUST DO IT!!!!
Sent the last in an e-mail to Larry also. One word reply - "wait". He didn't say next week though!
I stand corrected - turns out I CAN sell SOMPF, but not buy with Scottrade. I want more for it then $500 + after commission though.
Thanks for the update.
Nice to know he still lives, from time to time.
He said a while back, to 'WTL' I belive, that he was going to have to hush Ms. Hui up from her communications with us!!??
Thanks again.
I've emailed them both recently. I scolded Larry for not providing any recent update and direction as to where EQBM may be heading. I did get his attention as he wrote back and said something to effect "you want an update after scolding me?" I replied and said, it was the only way to get your attention. It would appear his ears perk up whenever he is being criticized. Otherwise, you will not hear a peep from him. I have not recieve any responses from Mrs. Hui for a while now. It appears she has gone dark.
hangfire, I have not tried in the last couple of months.
I tried a few months back and got nothing but voicemail.
As I was typing this I decided to give him another try.
I just got a new voicemail.
A lady starts out the recording, and then says leave your voicemail for ...... and then Larry says "Financial Group".
What is "Financial Group"?
Seems Larry is going AWOL on us. I will continue to call him over the next few weeks at various times to see if I can catch him live. I am not sure what it will gain us at this stage, but also not sure what it will hurt either. If I catch him live I wonder what positive spin he will give this? Maybe another Next week...... ugh.
Very, very sad ordeal here. I cannot believe I trusted him, and believed him. I know there were many that warned, but I still say if the critics had approached things differently that more might have listened including myself. The loss of money really stinks. I stopped trading smaller stocks period. This and another stock was a very painful learning lesson that I hope to never experience again.
I hold both Larry and the SEC accountable for this. While I hope for the miracle here, I am not hopeful at this stage. It would take a miracle from the Lord, and that is always possible.
Happy New Year 'virus'
Haven't had any emails from Ms Hui, or Mr Larry lately??
Might send them a smoke signal and see if the say NEXT WEEK will be the BIG one !!! lol
Couch
I'm still here too. Haven't been doing much as this stock is not even on the charts anymore. I'm still clinging onto my shares hoping that someday, it'll come back to life. But I've written it off as a total loss and if it does bring back anything in the future. I'll just consider it a bonus.
r7315. The answer is NO! My latest to Larry after he said there is only one SOMA:
Not from most people’s experience. Most people have not been able to convert them from SOMPF to SA1. And SOMPF is how they were received here in the states. They’re no good that way. The brokers won’t trade the stock. Scottrade does have a inconsistency on their site and I do have a call into them. For my account it shows I can’t buy or sell whereas on the restricted shares it shows I can sell them, but not buy them so the rep I called has put the question to the back room as to which is right and if I’m not allowed to not trade SOMPF at all then should they just be deemed worthless. SOMPF is what I received in my account so I don’t give a dam about SA1.
