now they gotta execute on the field, see what ratcliffe does even if it's a minority stake. Would have been better if glazer sold the whole majority of their stake. Not ready to give up control yet.
Shorts trying to see what will rattle out.
Finally a decent sized bid is back after it popped premarket to $22 and drifted back to $20
If others decide to show up, could be a good day.
Offered to buy 25% of the shares at $33 and yet only trading at $20 seems unusual.
Anyways some support at $20ish and we shall see if someone with bigger pockets thinks the $12-13/share (33% discount) disconnect is a little far off.
Well not a great start to that new beginning.
just because of TEN HAG, Manu is the main contender for winning 2022-23 Europa league, it's not much, it's revenue, it'a a new beginning...
aint gonna lie, i like TEN HAG. if they allow him to stay, in 5-6 years, Manu may see European champions title
with the Newcastle takeover, Manu is guaranteed not to win Champions league the next 10 years, at least...
i wonder what'll happen to the pps, if Manu signs PELE as a forward
the old horse will be selling jerseys for several months
congrats to RONALDO, he'll be draining the club's treasury, however, Manu will not win champions league with him
i like Edinson Cavani, i'm happy he chose to dry up Manu treasury. he will never become Premier or Champions league champion with Manu. i like watching him play tho
heard rumors glasers considering selling the club. as of today, this club is good for nothing, used to be, not now, not in the past years. they coulda been part of history, they withdrew. super league is the way to go. corrupt uefa, fifa angry, cause they will not get a piece of the BIIIIIIIIIG PIIIIIIIIIIE. phuk em, go super league. mimicking US NFL MLB NHL is a good idea
need i mention Brexit. it means quota on the foreign players in the Premier league. it means imo 2-3 foreign players per club
no titles means much much much much less revenue
here's the players Manu will need to win England and champions league in the next couple o years. DeGea, Becker, Sergio Ramos, Harry Maguire, De Ligt, Gerard Pique, Pogba, De Jong, Lucas Moura, Modric, Sadio Mane, Eden Hazard, Neymar, Cavani, Messi, Ronaldo, Salah. manager Pep Guardiola, or Jurgen Klopp. i dont see that happening, so no titles for Manu
Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman wants to take control of Manchester United as early as this season, according to reports in the UK press.
Bin Salman has reportedly tabled a $4.9 billion bid for the Old Trafford club following an initial approach back in October.
The Sun reported that the initial bid was put on ice after the diplomatic row following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Arabian embassy in Istanbul, Turkey. Some have linked the killing to the Saudi crown prince, known as MBS.
But Bin Salman is reportedly returning for a second attempt to buy the famous English Premier League club in a bid to challenge United's cross-town rivals Manchester City, who are owned by Sheikh Mansour of the Abu Dhabi royal family.
United's current owners, the Glazer family, have owned the club since buying it for £790 million 2005 and listed it on the New York Stock Exchange in 2012.
The Glazers, who own the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise, are reportedly uninterested in selling their controlling shares in the club.
The Saudi royal family's total wealth is in excess of $1 trillion, according to some estimates.
pathetic. starting Pogba and Martial against a french team?! and the french team was playing without Neymar and Cavani
de Gea, Pogba, Rashford, Martial should follow Mourinho,s footsteps, they are too good for this team.
Mourinho shouldve read my posts before accepting the job. i respect him a lot. theres a way to win titles here, but i'm not gonna say it, so i say 5 more years without a title(England or Europe)
This team has nothing, worst United team ever
looking good with extra revs from champion league company more moneyflow, also sometimes the stock tend to move with how well the team is doing imo
Lindsell Train Ltd has filed a new 13G, reporting 18.6054% ownership in $MANU - https://fintel.io/soh/us/manu/lindsell-train and https://fintel.io/i/lindsell-train
Mourinho says 'yes' to Manchester United
Jose Mourinho will replace Louis van Gaal as Manchester United manager at the end of the season. The Portuguese has not officially signed a contract but is a matter of 'hours' from being confirmed as the club's new boss.

NOT ANYMORE...ARSENAL FC 4 LYFE.
That's the rumor. If Giggs gets passed over he might be gone himself. The guy deserves a shot but may have to go elsewhere to prove himself before getting the managers job at MANU
If Jose Mourinho take over as manager am buying a boatload here.
thx gl on your trades
it's trading in a channel usually 14-15 before spiking check the 3 year chart you don't want this to break below it, great swing trader
i would like to express my disgust of what's happening with the English clubs in Europe. unfcking believable. no British clubs in the quoter finals of UEFA Champions League. not only that, but British soccer is 10 years behind in evolution. the last team in the Barclay's premier league table makes more than Bayern Munchen.
most of the players in the league make between $100,000-$500,000 per week, and produce a pyss poor performance. i'd fire everybody making more than $100,000 per week. who cares who'll be Barclay's champion. being a champion in England compared to Uefa champions league winner is like being a champion of Sussex. i'm done watching British soccer for this season, and i'm inviting everybody else to boycott it! i'll give it another try next year.
i'm unsubscribing of NBC sports

LAUGHABLE Keen Manchester United fans will have to wait a little longer before getting their new Angel Di Maria shirts printed – after the club’s official shop ran out of the letter ‘R’.
The Argentina international will have a medical with The Red Devils on Monday ahead of his £64m transfer from Real Madrid, with the winger set to take on the number 7 jersey once he completes his move to the English giants.
However, United supporters who travelled to Old Trafford to get Di Maria’s name printed on their shirts on Bank Holiday Monday were left disappointed after a sign outside the official club store informed fans that there were no ‘R’ letters left in black print.
But, United fans need not fear.
We’re guessing that with Di Maria set to be confirmed as a new Red Devils player within the next few days, United’s club store will make sure they have every letter – and especially ‘R’ – re-stocked as quickly as possible.

Manchester United Football Club is an English professional football club, based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, that plays in the Premier League. Founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, the club changed its name to Manchester United in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford in 1910.
The 1958 Munich air disaster claimed the lives of eight players. In 1968, under the management of Matt Busby, Manchester United was the first English football club to win the European Cup. The current manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has won 24 major honours since he took over in November 1986.[3][4]
Manchester United has won many trophies in English football, including a record 19 league titles, a record 11 FA Cups,[5] four League Cups and a record 19 FA Community Shields. The club has also won three European Cups, one UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, one Intercontinental Cup and one FIFA Club World Cup. In 1998-99, the club won a Treble of the Premier League, the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League, an unprecedented feat for an English club.
Manchester United is one of the wealthiest and most widely supported football teams in the world.[6][7][8][9] As of July 2012, the club is number one in Forbes magazine's annual ranking of the world's 50 most valuable sports teams, valued at $2.23 billion.[10] After being floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1991, the club was purchased by Malcolm Glazer in May 2005 in a deal valuing the club at almost £800 million.[11] In August 2012, Manchester United made an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange.[12]
