Come on bagholders, talk to me...
Bubbabow
What does President Trump and an MSGI long investor have in common?
TAX LOSS!
Bubbabow
Shorted from the long position until she died, pocketed the cash and deducted "losses" against the shares that I could not cover. Double dipping never tasted so good.
God bless America
I wonder if the grass will ever grow here again?
D.B. Just stopping by to check the pipes, damn they burst. Ah well...
Will VNTH go the way of MSGI? Only the devil knows.

D.B. Cooper just stopping by to change the light bulbs here. Bubbabow
Probably. Never come here anymore. Lost about $75K on this one. Hope VNTH does better.
It has been 9 months from my birthday that the last post was made and now VNTH is starting to wail. Is this finally the bastard child of MSGI come to fruition? Only the Shadow knows........................
$MSGI Not near as inept as I was for buying into this scam. If my wife sees this loss you can guess what's going to hanging on the wall next to my deer mount? I cringe when I think about it. Good luck to you all.
Oh no, they are very "ept" at what they have accomplished!!!!
Hey John
I see VNTH is in the same place as MSGI.
It appears to me that JB and his group are very inept.
Bacon
I agree. How could this die such a terrible death with so much potential.
I wonder how it all went so wrong???
News Release I found --
MSGI Announces Formation of Nanobeak Subsidiary as Holding Company for NASA Technology
August 19, 2009 10:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MSGI Security Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: MSGI) today reported that the Company has formed its first subsidiary for NASA based technology. Nanobeak Inc. is a nanotechnology company focused on carbon based chemical sensing for gas and organic vapor detection – effectively electronic sniffing.
NASA developed the Nano Chemical Sensors for space missions to increase scientific measurement capabilities with less mass and lower power requirements. The potential space and terrestrial applications include cabin air monitoring onboard the Space Shuttle, surveillance of global weather, forest fire monitoring, radiation detection, and various other mission critical capabilities.
This technology was developed at the NASA Ames Research Center located in Moffet Field, California. The commercial applications of these Nano Chemical Sensors relate specifically to Homeland Security and Defense, Medical Diagnoses, Environmental Monitoring and Process Control. Nanobeak will offer products in each of these sectors beginning this year.
Jeremy Barbera, Chairman and CEO of MSGI commented; “Nanobeak is our “alpha” subsidiary - the first of several majority owned subsidiaries, each of which will hold the rights to a specific technology and also serve as the vehicle for investment capital. NASA and MSGI will issue a joint-release to elaborate on the first such breakthrough in technology that is nearing prototype stage. This new invention will be launched in the Medical Diagnoses field and will be marketed to the drug and pharmaceutical industries.”

Thanks. I'll look into it.
Plus, maybe I get invited to sleep in the Lincoln bedroom.
$MSGI Claim you donated it to the Clinton Foundation. Nothing of theirs is ever checked. HOHOHO!!!
Talk to your broker. There are ways to take a total loss on stocks like this. It will also be reported as a loss so you won't have problems with the IRS.
I know but there is no record of a sale. No matter. I'll just claim it and explain it patiently to the IRS agent. I'm sure she can talk to Obama to let me off easy.
Hey THeDane
If is is no longer trading, then it is worth ZERO, so I would assume you can claim a loss?
Bacon
Youre right, anyone short walkd away without havng to cover. They're the ones that probably got the SEC to fnish their "case" against MSGI. i believe Barbera was tryng to bring MSGI back (I heard it from smeone who had indirect but reliable knowledge) with VNTH as the vehicle. So, after getting a frontal attack with MSGI we VNTH holders are now getting bent over and taking it in the backside, without a lubricant!
I'm not sure how to claim the loss on taxes. I tried to sell some before this happnd and got a few sold but still have several hundred k with noy a number attached. Can't sell so how do we claim the loss?
I'll look it up.
Best of luck!
About Screwing Us Investors
I don't think JB intentionally screwed us little old investors.
As I heard it, JB made a bunch of bad or poorly timed business decisions, some of which were impacted by the 2008 credit crisis, then they got in bed with the solar fraudster without vetting him properly, and he went to prison. Then the shorters reported JB to Finra which brought in the SEC, then while JB was still trying to rescue MSGI, he was slapped with the SEC sanctions and the fine. And the rest is history.
Thank you SEC, as based on what I heard, I believe the shorters made a ton of money. And the real investors got screwed because of the SEC's diligence.
Interesting that they weren't so darn diligent with Bernie Madoff when he made off with billions of investors' $$$. How many times did people report Bernie and the reports were ignored until he finally gave himself up. All I can say is, it's a darn good thing that the SEC got JB for his many. many indiscretions - whatever they were. That's just my sarcasm speaking - because I lost many, multi thousands of $$$ on MSGI.
Bacon
Thanks Renee. I wish that JB and company would get theirs after screwing us.
At least I can sleep at night with a clean conscience.
That would be a miracle. I suspect MSGI is toast unless someone uses it as a shell. VNTH is a complete puzzle.
News black out at VNTH ,wouldn't it be a hoot if MSGI gets a update and VNTH also gets one all in time for Christmas.
I don't think that's been done. Maybe just a process in motion.
I thought that this stock was revoked by SEC because of failure to timely file required periodic reports. If that was the case, how can it be traded?
It traded 1 million yesterday at .0001. That's $100 less the trade cost. Two years ago it owuld have been $20 to $30 k.
How the heck can this be trading now?
VIXPIX
Based on Walter's comments, I would say not.
Bacon
Walter Darling???? Is this a good stock?
Thanks Gater
No MSGI and reverse split for VNTH.
Doesn't sound too hopeful.
Bacon
Bacon..I doubt there is being any attempt to bring it back considering the latest SEC notice.
As for VNTH...I have no clue what is going on with that. Some on the board keep talking reverse split....which if that happens...I would be done investing my money into it. That would be a huge disappointment because I trusted what I thought was a good opportunity!
Hey Gater
What's happening man? Do you think JB will bring this back to save those shareholders that converted at $0.68? And little old us too?
And how about our VNTH? Will that one be OK or is it going the way of the Dodo bird, just like MSGI?
Bacon
Is there even a market for the stock...
100K traded yesterday.
800K traded 9/15
How does this thing even still trade????
Whether or not it is legal it is definitely unethical. If there is dollar value to the private company you could consider suing the CEO.
Renee I have been a stock holder for eight years. Is it legal for J. B. the former CEO of MSGI to just stop filing with the SEC and take all the patents and tech. funded on shareholders backs and put it into a private company of which he a major holder?
The most important due diligence anyone should do BEFORE buying a stock is to access EDGAR to see if the company is an SEC Registrant and is current in their filing obligations. Study their Financials and other Filings to determine the risks in buying that stock, and if a company hasn't filed Financials for 5 years DO NOT BUY that stock under any circumstances.
If a company is not an SEC Registrant and only submits unverified information to OTC Markets then the risk must be automatically HIGH and buyer beware.
This is not the SEC's fault. 100% blame is on MSGI and the responsibility for buying a severely delinquent filer is on the shareholders who did not do appropriate due diligence. Learn from this experience.

Renee - My reply
It appears you know more than I do about the SEC.
I guess we poor shareholders suffer from bad company management and from the SEC trying to save us from promoters.
Are you long on the stock? I own a boatload of stock. Too big a boatload.

Baconmaker: When the SEC files an Administrative Proceeding against an SEC Registrant for Financials delinquencies it is their intention to revoke that stock's registration, whereby the stock would never trade again.
For MSGI, excerpt: MSGI Technology Solutions, Inc. (a/k/a MSGI Security Solutions, Inc.) (CIK No. 14280) is a revoked Nevada corporation located in New York, New York with a class of securities registered with the Commission pursuant to Exchange Act Section 12(g). MSGI is delinquent in its periodic filings with the Commission, having not filed any periodic reports since it filed a Form 10-Q for the period ended December 31, 2010, which reported a net loss of over $1.4 million for the prior three months. As of September 1, 2015, the company’s stock (symbol “MSGI”) was traded on the over-the counter markets.

When an SEC Registrant fails to heed delinquency letters sent by the SEC it is too late for the company to become compliant after the SEC Admin Proceeding is filed.
Read the following linked post for a thorough explanation to why MSGI's stock registration will be revoked. ***attention to stocks that are / were SEC Registrants where every one of them had their stock registrations revoked.

Renee - My Thoughts
I heard that these SEC announcements are just formalities.
What else can happen after they did what they did to JB?
