I added some more. This is going to sky rocket.
Lucid and aapl, I see big news coming
We are both on the same page. The two variables you mentioned "stagnating economy" that should be thriving after coming out of the COVID lock downs and "hyper-inflation" caused by the massive government spending are consequences that could have been avoided by a more competent administration. But no need to worry because after Kamala comes back from Poland and showing them how she secured our borders we should be fine....lol
Honestly it's so much more than the Keystone XL. On Xiden's first 10 days in Office he signed dozens of executive actions, and I guarantee you if you ask any random Americans they can't even name 6 of them.
I don't like to get into the politics either, but the reality is elections have consequences. Hyper-inflation, a stagnating economy, and a massive bear market this past 13 months is a direct result of the Administration we supposedly elected.
Here are some of Biden's oil and gas killing bans. It started from the Keystone pipeline day one shut down to banning any more gas and oil exploration in Alaska. We were a net exporter of oil under the former administration and now are buying oil from Russia, OPEC and now maybe Iran and Venezuela? Total lunacy when we could open up all the land reserves and find and extract oil and gas safer and cleaner than any of those other countries. The environmentalists have totally taken over the democrat party and have just destroyed our economy. I'll take angry tweets over sweet mumbling words any day. Sorry to get political! BOTH parties need to friggen wake up and understand they work for us "we the people" not the other way around.
not sure the administration is stopping any oil company producing more oil. but they are happy seeing prices rising so their current production makes more money.
turning on the wells that are currently shut off doesn't require permission from Washington but does increase supply and hence the price... it was new land and sea area exploration permits that were stopped - but plenty of existing permitted land available to be exploited...
Either way higher gas prices is a boon for Lucid wish they could get the parts to ramp up production.
power11, I agree the sentiment today is bearish but don't agree the market is now a full-blown bear market. What I think will turn this around is that our Current administration comes to its senses and realizes that for now AMERICA needs to open up its oil production. EV may be the future but for now OIL is what we need to keep our economies growing and healthy. I believe the Ukrainians will eventually push back the Russians. If that happens and the Russian people see the truth, hopefully this madman can be overthrown by his own people. If that happens and we can keep the Chinese out of Taiwan we can go back to growing our and the world's economies!
we are not in a bear market, the first shred of any change in Russia situation we rocket and shorts will be running ....huge upside
MOST TRADERS HAVE NOT SEEN A REAL BEAR MARKET.
GET READY FOLKS !! YOU'RE IN ONE NOW.
IN A BEAR MARKET WE CAN OVERSHOOT TO THE DOWNSIDE.
According to Barchart next support is 21.85 2nd support 21.08.
I agree... but I see it as setting up for the long haul and seeking out the best entry points. I think the market still needs to shake out this year. there are indicators that it will. I also hedge using VXX when it's below 20.
I'm kind of doing the same - just adding a little each day to average it out. I agree with you that we aren't at the bottom yet, the whole market is dipping right now in response to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine and what might happen because of it.
Personally I think the war will end quickly, and many stocks will come back up strong after it does. This is a long hold for me, so I'm pretty much just adding as much as my budget will allow.
I'm kind of waiting for a market bottom at this point. I bought a few today, but still have plenty of cash.
I'm really excited actually. I've been picking up shares each day this week and am averaging down. I love it.
I wish I had more money to put in actually.
What happened to the 'edit post' feature?????
Stock market news live updates: Stocks turn lower as oil prices steady, investors monitor Russia-Ukraine

It's caught in a broader market sell off imo.
TO ALL : LCID A GREAT COMPANY WITH EVEN GREATER FUTURE.
SHORT TERM THOUGH; THIS STOCK HAS BROKEN DOWN TECHNICALLY.
BELOW TWENTY ACCUMULATE VERY SLOWLY.
I really appreciate that.
I did make good money off the trades, it's just that I could have actually become rich from the investment that really hurts.
I imagine I'm in the same situation as a lot of people who never saw Tesla suddenly going to the moon like it did. I hope I learned a lesson from it with regards to Lucid - bought more shares today actually :)
I could imagine...sorry you sold to soon...I hope Lucid and other stocks brings you that retirement you seek.
And yes Trashlas are cheaply made with Chinese toxic materials. Lucid is an absolute win when it comes to design and quality!
Comparing Lucid with Trashla is like apples to oranges imho. Lucid is way ahead wrt technology!
Let’s hope their cars don’t burst like Trashlas! lol
Are you looking into Lucid Motors? Here are the price levels to watch. - LCID
YouTube Link:
They're following the same model Musk used when he launched Tesla - no surprise considering who the CEO of Lucid is. The first edition Model S was right about $100k - and that is in 2011 / 2012 dollars.
The cost of a new Tesla was one of the main complaints for buying one for many years, right along with the lackluster range of sub-300 miles.
The flagship establishes the brand, then they'll roll out the more mainstream models over time that will have more mass market appeal. But my guess is there will always be a super expensive flagship model, kind of like a Model S Plaid.
A nicely optioned Plaid by the way, retails for $151,440, doesn't offer the range or the charging time of the Lucid, doesn't have the same level of refinement for the interior, and frankly doesn't look as nice. (IMO).
I am in no way defending a +$150k car lol.. just saying, that if you are shopping in this price range - Lucid is in a strong position.
They do need a lower priced car to compete with tesla though. Not everyone can afford $170k for a car.
KMC, Sadly it hurts to see any Ukrainians dying because of this murderous tyrant's obsession for power and control.
What we need to see is the EU stand firm and help arm the Ukrainian's who are extremely good and brave fighters.
Putin has hopefully made his biggest tactical error by invading because he has turned the world against Russia. Hopefully the Russian people can organize and overthrow this maniacal tyrant.
Personally I'm not putting any stock into that rumor. Lucid doesn't need it anyway, the product is going to compete head to head with Tesla and the other EVs, with or without Apple involvement.
I would be retired today, if I would have just held what I had in Tesla in 2018/2019.
It hurts every single day to realize that.
My heart just bleeds for the Ukrainian girls who are bring killed for no reason. Putin is a monster, and the Russian people should boot him out of Office - an Office that much like Palpatine's story, he has managed to hold on to much longer than he ever should have had.
I agree 100% Think of all that flipped Tesla early on and didn’t hold. For that matter last from 2020 on as well. LCID is golden long term.
Rumor too is that the lower cost car is a project with Apple
KMC, couldn't agree with you more. If LCID goes below $20.00 I will just buy some more. This stock in 5 years will bring a huge smile to all who have held it and believe in their product. This is a retirement stock that if it does half of what TSLA's done will make us all a lot of money.
We just need to pray that the Ukrainian's repel the Russians and peace and stability returns to Europe.
Don't forget too, they are already starting on the next phase of the plant in Arizona, where they plan to begin building the next (lower cost) models.
This company is a retirement plan, not a day flipper.
86, 2021 deliveries weren't a key for me, either. Question is to buy more now or wait for a few weeks. Like the cash #, though.
I agree. They downgraded the amount of cars they hope to deliver this year, and if they can’t hit this new number, the stock will start to drop significantly.
Definitely gonna take some time. I knew they weren’t going to hit their 2021 deliveries, so I wasn’t upset about that. I wish they would focus on their manufacturing plant here in the US, and not work on one in Saudi Arabia. And instead of opening up these “stores”, where people can go inside and see the car, why not some commercials? How did they not do one during the super bowl? Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed for long term. Best of luck to you, and everyone else here.
No, excuse me kind sir. Lmao!!!!
86, I think it will do well, too, long-term. But WS doesn't look long term. LCID knew awhile back of the supply chain issues and it might have been better with TSLA and others issuing warnings about such, that LCID s/h done the same.
Anyway, optimism will return, but will take some time.
The reduction was explained. “This reflects the extraordinary supply chain and logistics challenges we’ve encountered and our unrelenting focus on delivering the highest-quality products.” They can’t control the supply chain issue. They need to hit their mark for 2022. Hoping this does well long term.
Excuse me, but WS was looking for confirmation of a 2022 delivery number in the range of 20,000 vehicles, which was the number in the merger documents. A % reduction of 30-40% will not be well received as noted by the PM collapse.
The Saudi announcement now seems a little desperate as a way to lessen the impact of the revised 2022 numbers.
With Saudi money behind them, I think long term is looking good.
Although they were far short on the 520 deliveries they promised in 2021 I really like the future of LCID. $6.2B cash on hand. 25,000 reservations. A second plant being built. I think we will be good if they can reach their 12-14k vehicle estimate in 2022.
Not so good earnings. Buying opportunity in the morning?
