As usual, this one couldn't break $3, or hold near it. I guess if the Saudis are making deals with Trump, maybe they can swing him away from the lying clown.
Just the facts M'am...
TSLA 30 day trend: Lo = 223.41, Hi = 352.39, Delta = 58%
RIVN 30 day trend: Lo = 10.90, Hi = 17.10, 57%
LCID 30 Day trend: LO = 2.24, Hi = 2.97, 33%
EVs doing rather well, LCID riding the wave. US Manufacturers are going to kick butt.
Crank up production! Those ex-Tesla owners need to spend their money somewhere.
What's up with Lucid? Anybody? Curmudgeons?
Lucid Q1 Earnings Preview: Analysts point to scalability issues and competition from Chinese EVs
May 05, 2025 11:54 AM ET
By: Akanksha Khushi, SA News Editor
EV manufacturer Lucid (NASDAQ:LCID) is set to report its first quarter earnings result on Tuesday, May 6th, after the closing bell. Analysts on consensus expect the company to report a loss of $0.23 per share. Meanwhile, revenue is expected to increase more than 40% from last year, to $247.54M.
Seeking Alpha analyst Juxtaposed Ideas pointed to LCID’s lack of floor in a recent analysis, partly attributing it to more cash burn and dilutive capital raises over the next few years.
“This is worsened by the higher FY2025 capex, ongoing ramp-up of its Gravity production, and plan to enter the midsize electric SUV market in 2026,” the analyst added. The analyst also said that despite Lucid’s plans to enter international markets such as Saudi Arabia and the EU, the automaker is likely to face immense competition from lower-priced Chinese EVs too.
Before we head into Lucid’s earnings, let’s take a look at some significant announcements made by the company in the past quarter.
Lucid said last month that it is on track to enter the midsize electric SUV market in 2026. The new model will join the Lucid Air sedan and Lucid Gravity SUV in the company's lineup. Lucid also said last month that it produced 2,212 vehicles for the quarter that ended on March 31. The company delivered 3,109 vehicles during the quarter to top the consensus estimate of 2,947 vehicles.
In the last one year, the EV-maker has beaten both EPS and revenue estimates 75% of the time. Analysts have revised their estimates for both top and bottom-line in the last three months, with both EPS and revenue estimates seeing two upward revisions each.
Seeking Alpha analyst Dilantha De Silva has a bearish view on LCID stock, citing persisting scalability issues. “Lucid's niche market focus and inability to scale profitably make it an uninvestable option despite short-term gains from Tesla's struggles,” De Silva added.

Wow, a lot of good and relevant info on this board in the past couple of hours. Go $LCID!!!
Good riddance. You're so full of it, you smell.
A billionaire working hand in hand with a billionaire president to boost their private company interests is literally "corruption."
The "swamp" is now bigger than ever and the American people are footing the bill.
You'll probably never fact check or research any of what I just said and just think it's false.
Going on ignore now. Good luck with life. It's only going to get harder for the next decade thanks to impossibly rich people doing whatever they want with our country. But hey, at least women, poor people, the disabled, and minorities are kept out the white man's work force!
Nothing against you Frank; it's just I run into so many characters on these message boards.
Great, have a nice life. I'm a fan of Elon. Anyone who can sift through all the corruption in the "Swamp" has my respect. Did you know Elon Musk has Autism?
I was, but he's less a bear and more a Canada Goose.
But also to use "red tape" as a generic thing with no value results in an argument not grounded in facts.
You're on the Lucid boards, and you're talking undying love and support for a man and his company as they they are infallible. (2nd commandment much?)
They are direct competitors.
Anyway I can tell this conversation has run it's course and there's a lack of respect or general knowledge about the USA, especially since you came out the gate with "libtard." I tried to engage but no substance was reciprocated. Have a nice day!
Here's what you wrote: So, what does it mean? I thought you were poking the bear (Elon) when you wrote this.
"Lol. "Red tape" because laws that protect humans and the environment is not important.
Next time a company dumps their crap on your land, in your air, and in your water, please think of all the "red tape" that was cut in the name of efficiency and celebrate!"
So why bring up NASA and bottle manufacturering? Because that's a solid point on how "red tape" doesn't go far enough.
As a hunter I can see the direct impact of companies and organizations not respecting the process to ensure they minimize their impact on the environment.
Au contraire' mon ami.
Honest question in response to this. Are you arguing that red tape is a good thing? If not, why did you bring up plastic bottle manufacturers and NASA polluting the air?
You tell me? Let me ask you this. Did Edison Invent everything that came out of his shop?
https://ceo-na.com/executive-interviews/elon-musk-now-has-even-more-time-for-re-invention/#:~:text=X.com%20was%20Elon%20Musk's,$22%20million%20from%20this%20transaction.
So, in your mind an invention has to be brick & mortar? WOW!!
Lol! Can't answer a simple question?
How's that cool-aid tasting?
He invented that cool way to salute the crowd. Oh wait, that one wasn't his.
I see your multiple alias are hard at work?
Lol! You're a hoot!
What did he invent?
Okay Libtard, go tell that to all the Plastic bottle makers. Or how about Nasa where launch (fuel) vehicles burn up in our atmosphere. Or how about all those Photovoltaic Manufacturers? Your effort at dispelling Elon Musk and his inventiveness is not very effective at all.
Shouldn't you be in your garage making molotov cocktails for all those Teslas out there?
Lol. "Red tape" because laws that protect humans and the environment is not important.
Next time a company dumps their crap on your land, in your air, and in your water, please think of all the "red tape" that was cut in the name of efficiency and celebrate!
Lucid possibly taking market share from Tesla. Due to "Unfounded" hatred for Elon Musk, fueled by the media. Elon is only doing what he knows best. That's cut through all the Red Tape and become more efficient at it than anyone else.
What is the chart saying, novice here?
Will this company ever get production running, to realize some economy of scale?
Materials will get more expensive, so hopefully they are looking to alternate sourcing, to avoid the tariff impacts.
The U.S. needs more rare earth sources to avoid importing the exotic magnet material, but starting today, full mining production timeframe is years in the making.
What are their plans to drive cost of vehicles down to the average consumer budget?
The cars are beautiful and had so much promise, but delivery timeline is moving much too slowly.
As I have said before, they are trying to achieve absolute perfection, in a world where other manufacturers believe 80% perfect is good enough.
Saw another Lucid "Air" pass me on I-17. It has that Bear logo on the front fender. Sleek. I think the driver was eating watermelon.

Hey Popeye, Olive is dating Brutus. Too bad for you.
Seems like a great time to make some moves on the TSLA backlash.
Wow, $1.44M/yr for failure. How do we get a gig like that? Maybe they need to keep him engaged, to show them where the skeletons are buried.
This company should have been producing minimum of 20k cars per year, and should be focusing on smaller, lower range, more costly vehicles. Instead, they are pushing a $100k minivan, to a younger population, that is avoiding large families, due to cost of living issues.
Good riddance, to bad rubbish, my grandma used to say.
That should be 2026, NOT 2025! But glad to see some accountability.

So, even though the media writes, "Warren Buffet says that tariffs are an act of war." That's all the people hear. They obviously won't read any further and place blame. It's all about growing pains and fixing the problem with Americans buyers, buying anything but American made goods.

Lucid relies on sales from USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. Tariffs and retaliatory tariffs are big drivers in lower stock prices.
