This company provides electronic payment, risk management, and authentication services primarily to businesses and organizations using the Internet to receive or send payments.
I see this as an optimum purchase, and possible 50% increase from today's close.
Respectfully,

perfect time to get in now!
i bought in chart looks amazing right now!
Thanks did not buy and glad as did not know patents expire too soon.
Yes the payments are usually one time paid in full for future use. Not that there is much future use since the patents expire soon.
The stock was up more then 10 fold not sure one the options pricing but its not surprising to see them sell. Though they did sell/register quite a high number of shares.
On the plus side their other (non-patent) business is growing and with the patent settlements they have built up quite a cash hoard.
Disclosure: I sold out a while ago and don't keep up with the stock too much. I hadn't check this board in a while too so just seeing the posts.

Beats me, I sold it after I realized I didn't understand their business model, lol.
LMLP What is up with this stock , read all yahoo stuff, why insider selling when they are winning patent cases against billion dollar Co's? Are there wins one time payments only? Is this Co. just a mystery that insiders glimpse best?
I just noticed Craig Thomson (The President) registered over a million shares on the 22nd! I had noticed he had been selling (10b5) a bit before so I'd be careful.
I wouldn't be surprised to see MP file soon that they are under 5%.
No I am not the mod. I created the board a while back. I didn't understand i-hub and did it as unmoderated. Feel free to be the mod or change things.
Good luck with the stock! I did quite well here and have nothing against the company.
Thanks, ghmm!
I just picked up some shares...MP selling brought us back down to earth, some suspect. And yes, perhaps folks were hoping for more in the settlements!? Seems like a great business model in a growth industry and solid financials (in N. America!). IBD ranks them highly. Excellent technical play here as well, IMO.
Good luck!
BTW, are you the moderator?
I think it got ahead of itself. People may have been overestimating the patent settlement expectations too.
They still have a bunch of (possible) settlement revenue but it won't last and the law firm gets ruffly 1/3 of any settlement. On the plus side they probably have around a buck a share in cash and their other businesses are starting to pick up some steam.
Disclosure: I have no position.
What happended to this once high-flyer microcap??
Looks like a great entry point, with nice volume in over-sold territory!
Glad to know that Tim, I always liked Bowser and I think it was my brother said he died, then I never again checked on his picks, just assumed he had passed. Now, I'll check out his picks. Thanks.
Nope- I think he turns 100 this year. Cindy (daughter) is running it
Didn't know Bowser was still in business. Thought he passed away??
Thanks for passing along that information! It would be nice to see some more volume as I think one of the big shareholders (Mellenium Partners) has been selling. I am not familiar with the Bowser newsletter on the SMID board (on Yahoo) is when I first heard of someone mentioning them.
I posted this on the Yahoo board
http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_%28A_to_Z%29/Stocks_L/threadview?m=tm&bn=26808&tid=11158&mid=11162&tof=7&frt=2
. July, 28, 2010 Markmen Hearing in Texas (No timeline for judge to render decision but I think maybe 60-90 days)
. March, 2011 - Jury selection set to start
As we get nearer to the Hearing the settlement talks pick up. I am not a lawyer but my sense is LML gets to see how much the defendant is potentially liable and I am sure especially defendants with less at stake see that it may be cheaper to just settle then litigate.
If I were to guess I would say MP selling and going 3 months without a settlement is scaring off some of the weaker hands. Not to mention the stock is still almost a triple in just a few months!
If MP really wants out we need the company to do some roadshows and pitch ourselves to bigger institutions. The volume has settled down of late so any selling by MP really is magnified.
200 shares account for the .18 so I wouldn't make anything of it. I think last week someone may have posted something similar?
Boswer newsletter picked your stock. Should bode well over time, since most double from the time he picks them
RBS Citizens Bank Enters Into License Agreement With LML
LML and RBS Settle Litigation
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/RBS-Citizens-Bank-Enters-Into-pz-461913926.html?x=0&.v=1
So there was someone in the know about something after all . After the lawyers get their cut its not a huge amount but given LML's market cap it is significant. I wish they would say at least if they are getting a royalty going forward (the lack of mention leads me to think not). My guess is any leak is more on one settlement could lead investors to think of other settlements and their are some pretty big defendants.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 31, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- LML Patent Corp. ("LML"), a wholly-owned, indirect subsidiary of LML Payment Systems Inc. Incredible volume past few days and no real news (that I am aware of anyway). I thought the stock may start to pick up as we got closer to the Markmen hearing but we are still a way off from that. It could just be a fund is starting to accumulate or perhaps someone in the know is aware of a pending settlement. The Street article (available from yahoo) on pickup in on-line transactions in my opinion seems too much of a stretch to explain the price/volume.
