I am thinking of buying LLL. They are looking sweet. I will watch and perhaps wait for the TRUMP dump which will happen sooner or later after he takes the reigns and Obama turns out the lights as he leaves the W.H.

Right these legal proceedings seem akin to watching a train-wreck in slow motion.. I have NO ideas and I hold LITTLE hope of much more than a few cents on the dollar... But this is just from experience and little more.. I just see all these legal peeps and factor in how much $ they are billing out at. $400-800 an hour each if they hold a JD and are on the NY Bar. These Fees are considered normal. This is where we really get boinked.

Now if the Judge would slow this way down and really get to the bottom. But he won't. Judges calendars are filled with this stuff. After a while SEC Disputes are like watching Judge Judy... Nothing totally adds up in the end. Now if this crime against trusting shareholders carried a MIN 20-years in Fed Custody and every year a few of the worst offenders went to prison as a reminder.. IMO we would not see much of it.. Release the War on POT peeps and lets have a WAR on Wall St Crooks and lock them up as they do far more damage to our society... IMHO

Wow. nobody posting about this...the very stalwart and praised LLL stock price crashes 10% in one day over a slight miss on Rev? Except the day it crashed the FBI reopened the Clinton email investigation..just 10 days before the election. As the market quickly prices in Trump victory, military weapons and communication stocks crashed...fearing Trump becomes a non-war leader and de-escalates Russia, ends NATO aggression/expansion toward Russia, pulls out of Syria and completely ends Iran hostilities.

This all leads to massive loss in military sales and strong 'sell signals' in LLL and all competing firms

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zamansky LLC announces that it is investigating L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. (NYSE:LLL)(“L-3” or the “Company”) over its employee Savings, Profit-Sharing and Stock Ownership Plan (the “Plan”) for potential violations of the federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”). ERISA imposes fiduciary duties to prudently invest, manage and monitor the assets of employee retirement plans. These duties were allegedly violated by the Plan’s continued offering of the L-3’s stock despite its lack of prudence as an investment.

On July 31, 2014, L-3 disclosed accounting irregularities and alleged misconduct in its Aerospace Systems division. L-3 announced the firing of four employees and resignation of another employee, and an $84 million pretax charge as it cut its full-year profit guidance. On this news, the price of L-3’s stock plummeted by $20 per share, and securities fraud class action lawsuits were filed for investors in L-3 stock.

On April 21, 2016, U.S. District Court Judge Valerie Caproni denied L-3’s motion to dismiss the securities fraud class actions. She upheld investor allegations that L-3’s reporting of its financial results was false and material, and caused damaged to its investors. According to investment fraud attorney Jake Zamansky, her ruling suggests that there may also be damages under ERISA for any L-3 employees or former employees who held L-3 stock through the Plan.

L-3 Agrees to Acquire Insight Technology, Expands Electro-Optical and Night Vision Business
L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Insight Technology Incorporated (Insight). Insight develops and manufactures mission critical night vision and electro-optical equipment including laser aiming and illumination devices, laser rangefinders, laser markers and designators, night vision goggles and monoculars, and thermal imaging systems. Headquartered in Londonderry, New Hampshire, Insight employs approximately 1,100 people. Insight’s products are used by the U.S. military, federal law enforcement agencies and allied nations. The purchase price was not disclosed and will be funded with cash on hand.

The acquisition is anticipated to be completed in the second quarter of 2010, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, and will be structured as an asset purchase for income tax purposes. Insight is expected to generate approximately $290 million of sales for the twelve months ending December 31, 2010. Before giving effect to the present value of tax related benefits of the transaction and expected synergies, the purchase price represents a multiple of approximately nine times estimated 2010 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA). The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to L-3’s results of operations.

“By combining Insight’s outstanding people and innovative products with our existing portfolio, we add important new capabilities to L-3,” said Michael T. L-3 Communications Wins $44.6 Million Navy Contract to Support Mine Roller Service Program

WASHINGTON (AP) -- L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. has won a $44.6 million contract to provide engineering, logistics and other support for the Navy's mine roller service program, the Defense Department said late Monday.

A mine roller is a device mounted on a tank or armoured personnel carrier that is designed to detonate anti-tank mines in order to clear a lane through a minefield.

Shares of New York-based L-3 were up $2.24 at $111.58 Tuesday.

NEW YORK (AP) -- Defense contractor L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. said Thursday it won a $326 million contract from the U.S. Marines to supply tactical video capture systems at military training sites in the U.S. and overseas.

Under the three-year contract, L-3 will lead a team of suppliers to implement Praetorian, a new 3D video observation system.

The system allows users to view multiple sites under surveillance in real-time and on recorded 3D video.
