K-Tron Process Group: Feeding, Pneumatic Conveying and Engineered Systems
The K-Tron Process Group consists of several K-Tron companies operating in the United States, Europe and Asia. The group produces and sells feeders through its K-Tron Feeders brand, pneumatic conveyors and associated equipment through is Premier Pneumatics brand. The K-Tron Process Group also provides a global network of systems engineering, field service engineers, parts and training in support of its customers.
Feeding Equipment
For many years K-Tron has been the global leader in the design, production, marketing and servicing of high-quality feeders and related equipment for the handling of bulk solids in many different kinds of manufacturing processes. K-Tron Feeders control the flow of materials into a process that then transform those materials into an end product. Pneumatic Conveying Equipment
With the recent acquisition of Premier Pneumatics, Inc. in 2006, K-Tron became a global leader in high-performance pneumatic conveying systems and bulk unloading and storage systems. Size Reduction Group: Hammermills, Sizers, Roll Crushers
K-Tron's Size Reduction Group is comprised of the Pennsylvania Crusher Corporation, Gundlach Equipment Corporation and Jeffrey Specialty Equipment Corporation subsidiaries. This group primarily produces and sells size reduction equipment, such as hammermills, sizers, roll crushers and wood hogs. This equipment is used to resize various materials to a given smaller size, and the principal industries served are the electric utility, mining, pulp and paper, and wood and forest products industries.
Pennsylvania Crusher
Pennsylvania Crusher is the leading U.S. manufacturer of size reduction equipment that is sold to electric utility companies to crush coal for use in coal-fired power generation plants. Gundlach
Gundlach Equipment Corporation is a leading manufacturer of size reduction equipment for the coal mining industry. Gundlach is best known for its single and two-stage double roll crushers, which crush coal at the mine mouth and the preparation plant. Gundlach roll crushers, cage mills and other equipment also are used to crush coal and other minerals in coal-fired power stations, salt processing plants, fertilizer manufacturing facilities and other industrial applications.
