Even though it was cold, I was happy to see people buying :)
OT: I think most ppl here play the penny stocks.
Hi sushimike,
I hear you about the activity on this board. I'm new to this board and surprised at what appears to be a lack of interest or knowledge to the potential of this stock.
Have you looked at epinions to see what customers are saying about Jamba Juice. It's incredible the ratings that it's getting. We'll soon see a Jambe Juice everywhere.
mojo
Really... Jamba juice at Buchanan? I used to live in Fresno/Clovis (until I moved to Santa Barbara for college), but I didn't know Jamba was that big of a deal...never saw anyone drinking it. Well, go JMBA!!
Well...on Fri. Nov. 24 I recieved my proxy for SVI...it was as thick as a textbook. So it said that the nasdaq listing will change over on the 28th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am suprised that this board isn't more active. There is a real future for this one.I guess most people on this site are just screwing around for fun.
Stadium Events - Yes!
I was not aware that Jamba Juice goes to stadium events...were you?
This weekend we were at the WBA Championship at Buchanan High School in Clovis CA and I was surprised to see that they were selling JMBA. So of course I had to buy one for myself.
OT: Congradulations to http://www.loganbandandcolorguard.org/ for winning this year.

Demand for beverages bubbles up on U.S. heat wave
NEW YORK, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Soaring U.S. temperatures have been a boon for beverage companies that are seeing unprecedented demand for some of their specialty, more expensive, drinks -- especially bottled waters and sports drinks.
East Coast cities dimmed lights at landmarks, opened cooling centers and extended swimming pool hours this week to combat a deadly heat wave that sent temperature indexes climbing toward 115 F (46 C) -- making July one of the hottest months on record.
"Bottled water and sports drinks will disproportionately benefit from this protracted heat spell," said John Sicher, editor of newsletter Beverage Digest. "Last year there were capacity problems for some water and sports drinks ... and this summer given the heat even though there's greater capacity, it could still be an issue."
Sicher said PepsiCo Inc.'s (PEP.N: Quote, Profile, Research) Gatorade and Coca-Cola Co.'s (KO.N: Quote, Profile, Research) PowerAde had capacity issues last year.
Beverage companies, however, said they have sufficient supplies to meet the surge in demand.
"We had some near misses in 2005," said Cookie Rice, president of Coke bottler Ozarks Coca-Cola. "But this year the company began building inventory in the cold weather and so we haven't experienced any difficulty in obtaining PowerAde. Out-of-stock (items) are costly to both us and our customers."
Ken Sadowsky, president of Atlas Distributing, a Massachusetts-based distributor for Miller and Corona beer, Snapple drinks and Glaceau vitaminwater, said the heat wave has been a boon for business.
"The hot weather is making up for the bad, rainy spring that we had and it is having a positive impact on certain categories," he said.

Hey Mad, what's going on! Did anyone realize that Jamba Juice was mentioned in this past season of the Soprano's? Not sure of the episode number, but some investors in Jamba Juice wanted to buy a building that Tony owned in Jersey to set up shop. Thought it was a nice little plug. Someone at HBO has the hots for Jamba...

July.
Sling, no I won't bail yet. I'm averaged at .00442
I should've stuck to my plan and coulda/whoulda/shoulda taken a little profit...and buy back. Now, I gotta play the waiting game...I just hope this is the very bottom.
I plan on making a couple calls this week.
OT: Shaws & Albertsons
I am very disappointed in RUSH. A little over a month ago someone at allstocks said that the availability of Rush was being pushed out to May or June...then just I read (I think it was on SI) that it's now July.
I last spoke to Cathy Soto from Albertson's on Friday and she said that she had left 2 messages with Rush HQ (since I 1st contacted in late March) and have not received a call back. What the Hell? And now she's covering for her Manager that left (I assume that's Jim in which I never got an email reply from him).
From what's been said about Corr's interview, he didn't say much about the current Rush beverages and the plan for e-water is 12-18 months. That's too damn long!
Come on Corr, you gotta get e-water out sooner than later. IMO, the longer you take the more we all miss out...and at the moment the majority is drinking Ginseng RUSH, XXX & Cola.
It was pretty good. The main premise of it was that the people working at the Jamba Juice location were reeeeaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyyyy energetic. People that have been there before enjoyed it because they said that there experiences there were very similar to what occurred in the skit.
Dr. I missed it. Was it funny?
Hey Mad Tony. I was just watching SNL and noticed that they were doing a skit involving Jamba Juice. It was just meant to be comedic but it was still publicity. GLTA involved in this one
Thanks for your response. I looked at the chart and your thoughts are positive though somewhat difficult to confirm. It does look like the beginnings of a gorgeous ascending channel ( meaning that their will be bottoms on which to add). Currently it is coming to a top (needs to retrace and consolidate for a week IMO). That being said extraordinary news events would alter what I see as a consistant upward movement for you (meaning zig zag-like top-bottom ascention). Substantial news would cause rocket-like motion to da moon! Good luck to you my friend. It looks very good actually. I haven't peeked in on this stock/chart for a couple weeks.
Being from the western states, it is a product that I am very familiar with. Quite a popular product; and one which, at my major grocer, has a full section (on the end-cap of a normal grocery aisle) of it's own. OK - somewhat. personal pre-cut fruit sections are sometimes included there.
If you are desperate I could possibly photograph this for you. I advise you in advance that I loathe my digital camera and the downloading process. I am a film purist, but willing to help. Where are you located? Is this something that you have a same familiarity with? I believe I had heard that the east coast was unfamiliar wit this product.
Again, My best to you...
Rover
Early week was probably your best chance to get some.
