Thanks Perchy, I since read up on capital gains and never knew how many ins and outs there are in tax consequences on selling before the one Year from date of purchase. So the gest is, anything over your initial investment when stock is sold is taxed at you personal income tax bracket if sell before one year has elapsed from time of purchased the stock which is usually 30% tax. If hold stock more than one year from time of purchase this stock and then sell you only pay 15% taxes on the gains! So these ppl that dump stock within year of purchase and buy back in to get more shares have to pay 30% tax on gains with the chance on not get back in at a lower price. Then there is the wash rule.. Wow, that is why it make ICPA even a more long term investment for me.. Thanks Perchy for bringing this to light. I am no accountant guess that is why I went into medicine... Lol cheers to ICPA'ers!!!

Does anyone know if/when Punch will actually start broadcasting. As far as I can tell they aren't currently. The only info I can seem to find online states they are set to air last summer but as far as I can tell they still aren't on the air anywhere. Anyone can put out a fall sched but if it's not actually airing it doesn't mean much. I'm not trying to bash I just can't find any good info here and their website is red flagged by my Norton as being unsafe due to phishing bugs. Any help?

Brotha!: I sit right now on my own couch again. Its crazy but one of the things that I missed most these last 10 months was just not having a couch of my own to sit/lay on and do the goal of the movie Office Space lol: nothing if I want.

To be always out and about was fine, but there are times when a hotel lobby or Starbucks or small cafe just didnt cut it: you want your own couch. And think about those hang-over days some here like me have from time to time lol! - thats when you really want one....but it is amazing how you can go without most everything in your material world, and as long as healthy its all good.

Punch TV is onto something: New Urban America. In a world of dozens of similar networks and channels - I could see Punch TV easily differentiating itself and creating its own bold identity. Hello TEAM ICPA!: ...and good point: anyone new here or lurking again this weekend - take note of those who are 'The Longs' here....cause after this week coming up and I think the madness, excitement and pps exploding to new year highs: we will still be here.

Its easy to see for yourself too - just click on a name and see how long they have been posting here. Though most excitingly of all to me is all the new Longs we seem to pick up every week - even during these last four weeks of mostly RED days....though we did not pick up that many and our Boardmarks at times stayed same or even went down during this time: the Strong new Longs we did pick up are great.

Just thinking about the Punch TV deal and how it will generate major revs. I think Daymon John will be involved with the network with advertising. Punch description states that they market new fashion trends to the African American community. I think this is a great fit for Daymon's FUBU clothing line.
