Sale to DL Evans bank .. worth watching again
I would love to see IDBCQ pull itself out of the muck.
This week could be interesting
The bank was founded in Albion on Sept. 15, 1904, and the Idaho Banking acquisition is expected to be finalized near that date, Evans said.
On September 2, 2014, a disclosure statement with respect to a plan of reorganization or liquidation was filed in the bankruptcy case of Idaho Bancorp and its affiliates.
D.L. Evans Bancorp will purchase all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Idaho Banking Company free and clear of all liens
Yup. Sure looks like it. Filed BK and wipeout existing shareholders to restructure.

Idaho Banking Company to Be Acquired by Banner Corporation
BOISE, ID--(Marketwired - Apr 24, 2014) - Idaho Bancorp (OTCBB: IDBC) ('Holding Company') announced today that it will sell its wholly owned subsidiary, Idaho Banking Company ('Bank') to Banner Corporation ('Banner'). Banner is the holding company for Banner Bank. Banner Bank's financial strength exceeds all state and federal capital standards.
The Holding Company, has signed an agreement pursuant to which Banner will purchase all of the stock and equity interest in the Bank and merge it with and into Banner Bank. The combined company will have approximately $4.5 billion in assets and will be the fifth largest Pacific Northwest headquartered bank as ranked by assets.
President and CEO of Idaho Bancorp and Idaho Banking Company, Jim Latta, commented, "This combination allows us to partner with a strong community bank that is focused on providing great customer service, a deep commitment to the communities where they operate and an excellent environment for employees to perform and advance. We look forward to working with the management team at Banner Bank to better serve and become the bank of choice in Southern Idaho."
To facilitate the transaction, the Holding Company intends to file a voluntary petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and to sell the bank in a 363 sale in the bankruptcy.
"This filing affects only the Holding Company. The Bank will not file bankruptcy and will operate separately from the Holding Company. Deposits will continue to be insured to the fullest extent possible by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). There will be absolutely no interruption in services to customers, deposits will continue to be accepted, our branches and ATMs will continue to operate as usual and the Bank will continue to deliver on its commitments to loan applicants and vendors throughout the Holding Company's reorganization," Latta said.
Consistent with usual practice, the court will supervise a competitive bidding process for the sale of the Bank. Any competing bidder will be required to recapitalize the Bank at an equivalent level and demonstrate the ability to promptly receive required regulatory approvals.
If Banner is the successful bidder, the agreement calls for it to acquire the Bank from the Holding Company and then merge the Bank which will satisfy all capital requirements imposed by the Bank's federal and state regulators and will position the Bank for future growth and prosperity.
The transaction provides for the payment to the Holding Company of $2.6 million for all of its stock and equity interest in the Bank. Upon closing of the transaction, which is anticipated to take place in the third quarter of 2014, the Bank will be merged into Banner Bank.
The board of directors of the Holding Company has unanimously approved the transaction. The Holding Company intends to ask the court to expedite its approval of the proposed sale and recapitalization of the Bank.
About Idaho Bancorp
Idaho Bancorp is headquartered in Boise, Idaho, and is the parent company of Idaho Banking Company, a state-chartered commercial bank and member of the Federal Reserve System, which was organized in 1996 and operates four branches. At March 31, 2014, Idaho Banking Company had $102.1 million in assets, $60.3 million in loans, and $98.3 million in deposits.
I'm hoping the next quarterly report pushes IDBC over the .50 mark.
It sure didn't do well. I don't think SGBP is in danger but it does need to show a profit at some point or it will be.
SGBP didn't do that well on the other hand. Mortgage biz slowing down bothers me since these banks are not breaking even on the income from interest ops.
IDBC came very close to going green this quarter but just couldn't cross the line for whatever reason. I might try to pick up a few more shares as I do believe the bank is going to make it.
I'd say that bodes well for the 'Art of Banking', that is the Idaho Banking Company.
Idaho Bankers Association - IBDC CEO elected director.
That would indeed be better. It will get there.
I'd rather see the ask stay at .50 and the bid move to .45!
The IDBC bid/ask is looking a whole lot better.

LOL. Actually, it also includes multiples of 18. So, in 2 days I'll be 3 x 18 years + 3 x 18 months + 17 x 18 days!
I turn 18 next June. ;)
So, what's magical about .18? Other than the number 18 signifies good luck in Judaism. And, an 18-bagger would be good luck in anyone's cosmology.
I keep waiting for the bid to hit .18. Maybe it will happen today.
Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed with IBDC's 2nd quarter but I still think this bank is going to do well. I guess we'll just sit for a while as they work on making the 3rd quarter profitable.
That's great! Been casting about looking for other stuff - short term flips - while the bank stocks percolate.
I see the IDBC bid has risen to .17
Super. Now all we have to do is hunker down and wait.
Well, finally got filled at .152 today
Yeah, and was odder is that I have a higher bid at .152. But, I have seen a lot of odd lots trade in these banks. I've even gotten some partials like that.
A trade of 8,921 shares is rather odd. I assume someone was trying to get 10,000 shares but only 8,921 shares was available at .15. I guess if we see a trade of 1,079 shares at a future date we'll know that someone rounded out their lot.
LOL. Actually, I do have my toes crossed. Partially ripped/degraded a tendon and ended up with "hammer toe" on the right foot. Probably the result of 40+ years playing sports. Can't wear flip-flops as a result.
I hope their report comes out next week. I think that IDBC is probably going to show a profit. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Toes too!
Well, the bid just moved significantly. I had a partial fill at .1001 and someone just jumped ahead at .15 and grabbed 10K sh! And they want more... I suppose that's good.
It could be that with todays small trade all of the really cheap shares are now history. I am now looking for both the bid and the ask to start moving up very soon. And with the bid and ask moving up, and hopefully a little closer together, I wonder if CANT moves their .61 ask up as well?
Well, the b/a just got crazy again - .15 X .35. I hope there is a good call report to move up that bid up closer to the ask.
Big block on the ask at .61 by Cantor Fitzgerald. Not sure if the have an institutional client wanting to throw in the towel at that price, or a retail client since CANT moved into wholesaling this year.
That would certainly be nice but for now we just might have to be content with a higher pps. I suspect the gap will close once some IDBC numbers are reported.
Need the bid to leap along with it.
It's nice to see the bid and ask move a little closer together.
Looks like someone snagged a few .083's. A good report by the bank will make investor very happy with their grab.
Yep, someone did take the bait and I got my shares. I think the pps is going to be considerably higher in late July or early August.
Just back from taking 18-year-old kitty to vet for annual maintenance. Looks like someone took the bait. Just saw the SGBP close, too.
I moved my bid up to .075 and that didn't work. I'm now using .08's for bait.
Once again I'm trying to get 10,000 shares of IDBC at .07. Probably a wasted effort.
