Since the background of Judy Taylor is from the oil and gas business, I would guess that GPVN is now in that business and out of diamond hunting.
Does anyone have any new information here, rather than just throwing jabs at each other?
Texas1
You are giving them too many good ideas.
Time for this board (and the GPVN board) to go away
...just like the stock
And maybe your's should be "petulant"
maybe you should change your name to genius...
Maybe GPVN should change their name to:
Gold Prospecting Ventures
or
Gas Prospecting Ventures
or
Global Petroleum Ventures
or...
...well, you get the idea!
prince . . . doesn't it kind of remind you of another diamond exploration company that flipped in midstream???
Deann.
I have but on question my friend...
...initially, investors got into this company thinking that it was a diamond exploration (and potentially) mining company. Now, they are investing in oil and gas production! What the hell is Global's business plan? or do they even have (a coherent) one?!!! Geez!!!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Global Prospecting Ventures Completes Negotiations to Acquire Majority Ownership of Oil and Gas Partnership.
9/21/04
SAN FRANCISCO, Sep 21, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ --
Global Prospecting Ventures, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GPVN) Global is pleased to announce that it has now completed negotiations to acquire a 51% majority ownership of Layette Oil and Gas Partnership LP. Through the partnership Global will acquire a major working interest in a currently producing natural gas field under mineral land leases in Fentress County, Tennessee. The partnership will acquire a 100% working interest in the wells.
In a News Release dated September 1, 2004 the Company announced that upon completion of negotiations, it would drill and test, equip and open the production of five to ten new wells in the State of Tennessee, located within a current operating field sitting above proven oil and gas resources. The Company’s Gas production would be delivered through an existing pipelines network and will be sold to major gas distributors under an existing Gas Purchase Agreement. The new natural gas wells will be drilled, operated and maintained under contracts with Young Oil Corporation and under long term mineral land leases with property owners.
Young Oil Corporation of Kentucky will act as the Operator. Anthony Young, President of Young Oil, was named the Tennessee Oil & Gas Association’s Oilman of the year in 1999. Bill Goodwin, President of the Tennessee Oil & Gas Association said: “When we select an Oil Man of the Year, we are looking for that individual who makes things happen. Anthony Young is such a man. He is creating a boom because he drills lots of wells, has a great hit ratio and treats his investors and partners fairly. That is the reason he is so successful and that is the reason he received the award”. Mr. Young is the state’s recognized leader in shallow oil and gas discoveries and Young’s wells produce from depths of less than 1,500 feet and some at depth of less than 500 feet.
Young Oil Corporation is a privately owned oil and gas exploration and production firm with operations in Kentucky and Tennessee. Young utilizes its own drilling rig to drill all its wells. In 2002, Young Oil had the best productive well to dry hole ratio in the state, with 57 producing wells out of 72 drilled.
The Company plans to raise $900,000 through a Private Placement Offering of Two Hundred Convertible Debentures at $4,500 each. The Offering will be made in accordance with and pursuant to the provisions of Rule 505 of Regulation “D” promulgated under the Securities Act of 1933. This will cover the cost for the first five well drill program which is expected to be drilled before the end of the year. The Company plans to raise an additional $900,000 at the beginning of 2005 for the second five well drill program to be drilled early Spring 2005.
Net earnings are projected at $300,000-$500,000 in year One, which may be accomplished and reached within the next nine months.
The outlook for North American Oil and Natural Gas ("Gas") is extremely positive from an operation and investment perspective. Increasing US energy demands projected over the near and long term should sustain major gains for Gas and Oil producers in North America.
In a News Release dated September 1, 2004, Global announced a reverse split of outstanding common stock on the basis of one (1) for four (4) shares owned, with each resulting fractional share rounded up to the nearest whole share. The number of authorized shares of common stock was not affected.
The Company is now acting as its own Transfer Agent and has authorized Tayler & Associates to be responsible for stock transfers and regulatory compliance. Tayler & Associates: 1184 Denman Street, Unit 101, Box 616, Vancouver BC V6G 2M9, PH 604-685-7024, FAX 604-684-7024.
Shaun Spelliscy has resigned as President due to business commitments and other obligations. He will continue to act as a consultant to the Company. Judy Tayler is the acting new President.
Global's Land Holdings
Early 2004 the Company outlined an extensive diamond and gold exploration and drill program. Due to adverse financial circumstances, the Company was unable to provide adequate funding to maintain all lease options in a current status. Several of the lease options expired and have returned to the original owners.
Currently Global has secured over 4,480 acres of land favorable for diamond exploration and development in the Fort a' la Corne area of Saskatchewan and 1,000 acres of land in the La Ronge gold Belt favorable for gold exploration. Global's claims hold great promise for some significant economic discoveries of diamonds, gold and other precious and base metals.
Saskatchewan Diamonds: Global's three diamond claims: White Gull, Candle Lake and Birchbark, are centered in and around the Fort a' la Corne (FALC) forest which is the largest accumulation of diamondiferous kimberlites discovered to date in the world. This past winter Global joint-ventured with Garnet Point, whereby Garnet earned a 37.5% interest, by drilling the Candle Lake property. Our first drill hole on the Candle Property was unsuccessful. The Birchbark Target was surveyed using ground magnetics, and contains a strong magnetic anomaly which has not been drilled yet due to the spring thaw.
Saskatchewan Gold: The Cratty Lake Gold Property, (Claim S-101718) consisting of 1,000 acres, is located in the La Ronge gold belt within ten kilometers of three past producers -- the Star Mine and the Jasper Mine (previously owned by Cameco Corporation), and the Jolu Mine (previously owned by Corona Corporation). The property has been drilled before and exhibits targets that require further prospecting and geo-chemical sampling.

Facts are facts...
Tuesday, September 21, 2004:
PPS down to 0.02 on a "whopping" 1,250 shares! WOW!
10-day average volume: a "whopping" 9,387 shares! WOW!
Ever heard of illiquidity?!
TOTAL SCAM!!! Caveat Emptor!!!
JMHO.
SCAM! is correct for this stock as well as GPVN! eom
tal...you are soooooooo FOS...
...why would anyone trust Matt Hansen - whoever the hell he is?!!! Can't put anything in writing...gimme a break!!! What is this...another Enron?!!!
So, Shaun is back out in the field...good place for him.
As far as I'm concerned, they should ALL go to jail!
What a scam!!!
I strongly urge anyone who has doubts about keeping your stock or even possibly buying more to call Matt Hansen at 415-706-0993. I know this might sound mad, but I'm a stock holder and he convinced me and not with alot of fast talking that he will turn this company around now that the bad seeds are out. Matt's hands been and still are tied by what his lawyers advise him to do about not putting anything in writing on what really is going on within the company, but he can tell you personally if you call him!! Shaun is back out in the field now where his real expertise is and no he hasn't sold any of his shares of the company. Their are only 12.5 million outstanding shares in GPVN. Matt understands any skepticism because everyone is left in the dark. He was to trusting of Marvin Bear and some associates who any of us that owns any part of this company wants to see them go to jail!!! Matt is just as bitter and even more so than most of us who own shares but he knows he deleted the virus and will bring this company to where we all thought it would be when we invested our hard earn $. Call him and ask your own questions before you bolt!!!
Matt if ive said something that is incorrect please correct me here on the board for all to see. I dont see why you cant answer right here. Im not interested in some secretive info that can be only told over a phone. That means squat. You can easily deny anything you tell someone on the phone. If you have nothing to hide why not answer here?? Since its been established who you are then why are you asking me to call and then say i can write all i want?? We all know now who you are and know your are the authority on the subject so why dont you write here instead?? Anything i write can be called into question. You are Matt of GPVN so all will know its coming from the horses mouth. The questions are very direct. Why not a direct answer for all to see if there is nothing to hide?
I'll wait for these pr's promised and see if any of my questions are answered. Then i will call and question if anything is unclear. But i see no reason you cant answer the questions asked here thus far.
Leb,
As I told others on this board who called me I cannot discuss all the info on this board but will gladly speak with you on the phone. For the record though, Shaun and other directors have ALL of their shares. You heard correctly regarding Marvin Bear and his fellow crooks and yes that is the primary reason for the roll back....for more info, you know the number....
Then you can write all that you want....
New message board for the new GPVN!! Just type in new symbol.
Judy President???
I agree with O.
I sold my shares as soon as I found out. Must have been a lovers quarrel... IMHO of course...
I did not like what she did with her previous employer (NSDM).
care to elaborate, Osger??
Ditto - please share your info with all of us hear.
One more question. Who actually sold more shares? Spelliscy or Marvin Bear? And how many each? I think the shareholders are owed that much info. Someone a while ago mentioned here or on another board that Judy said Marvin Bear or his friends sold shares he wasnt entitled to sell and that it was illegal?? Does anyone remember those posts or conversations? If that is the case maybe the shareholders need to look into getting together and pursue it legally. If this is true and i repeat if, then the company did not protect the shareholders and do anything to prevent this from happening and therefore it might be worth seeing if shareholders can privately pursue both the company and Bear for damaging their share value. And maybe im all off base on this and the company did or is doing something about it so if thats the case shareholders should know that as well since the company i beleive has used Bear as the excuse why the price sunk. Fair??
Alwaysinside I assume from the phone number you have given that you must be this Matt Hanson fellow since that is his number in all of the pr's. Im glad you agree my questions are fair. Since you have the questions directed to you from this board i think you should at least answer them here for all here to see and not just me to hear. I will attempt to be fair since Shaun is out give Judy a chance to prove herself a better leader of the company. I will give you a chance to answer here and or through pr's and hope everyones questions are answered through those channels. I have no gripes with you or Judy and always believe in allowing people to prove themselves. I just hope Shaun doesnt start dumping shares as someone else indicated. I hope current management doesnt sell shares either. I will call you but I will wait to see what news is coming and what your reply is here. I will wait for news first because that may spark more questions than i have now.
This company started with a low o/s and became diluted quickly and reversed split before any projects got off the ground and it all happened in under a years time. Lets hope that cycle doesnt repeat itself. God Bless
shaun resigns
wonder if he dumped all those shares in the begining to drive the price down from .40 to .01
i smell a rat
maybe the sec should look into this company
watch this thing shit the bed even harder now
Thanks hockey, will do my DD !
You also need to look at ETLS currently .075 x .09 but you can put a bid in at .08 and make it....they just announced $10 million in financing and they should be announcing some major contracts within weeks. Stock has only 40 million out and under 10 million in the float. Its coming off last weeks price of .12 so a good buying point. Good luck
Judy and Assoc. as transfer Agent = scam!
this stock wether GPVI or GPVN will be no different as Judy can manouver stock as transfer agent,,,I think it kind of conflict of interest !
Share holders beware ....Lebaneseproud kept me from buying this POS and it is the same old crowd basically!
....the least they can do get a legit transfer agent! cheap . cheap cheap low budget out of basement operation...big deal cheap old office on Pender st.....and who knows the manouvering they plan to do!
Thanks hockey...your last tip I made money at!
You guys should consider DMXP currently at .012 and they have a CEO (Barry Rayment) who ran BGO (AMEX)a company with over one billion in market cap. DMXP is finalizing its financing and the warrants are between .03 and .05 so with the stock at .012 I think its a good deal,IMO.
Fair questions. 415.706.0993
This has to be Matt Hansen. I sincerely hope you listen to Leb's questions and answer them accordingly. All of this information is extremely critical to the future of GPVN due to the alreadly lack of confidence from the shareholders. This new PR really does not suffice and almost resembles a political speech, wandering everywhere without really answering anything. As L was saying "we invest in the land, not in the people" but so far results have been from the people, which have been poor at that. There has been no results or focus on the land. I hope some come soon!
Leb you're great for showing some tenacity and gumption to make them address these questions. As shareholders we do have the right to know the co. logistics and corprate executive actions. I know Im blowing sunshine up your you know what, but I am glad you are on this board. I have some other good stocks that I am looking into. We'll talk
-Mayor Smokes
Matrix that would be another good question for Judy
How many authorized shares and outstanding now? Judy must have that figure. She is now the transfer agent
I guess the other important question shareholders will need to know is how are they paying for this oil , gas project? With shares or cash? If shares will this mean more dilution right away on the heels of a reverse split. I think these are all fair questions and not biased in any way
About what i expected. Well i would hope that at the very least the company would list on the otc bb since they are anticipating revenue. This way shareholders can verify the numbers in the form of an official sec filing. They can also verify the o/s shares as well.
Shaun resigns? Thats surprising. Every shareholder should demand to know how many shares heholds and are they restricted or free trading? Many times officers that leave a company start dumping shares. Hope thats not the case or that would be a double blow to shareholders in adddition to the reverse split.

OOPS Meant Shaun not Sahun. I dont have a grudge against him either so please cut the nonsense. I actually tried to call him on a few occasions and always got a recording from who i think was probably Judy saying she would call back. I never left message. Does he have a direct number?
FYI ....
Do these claims belong to this company?
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4322266762
Alwaysinside you say you will be more than happy to speak with me? Does that mean you are Sahun or with the company or just an interested shareholder??? Ok , whats the number or email? I dont even know who the heck you are. How do you expect me to call you?
Look Mr. alwaysinside, i dont know you nor do i care to but if ive said something that is incorrect, then by all means correct me if you know the answer. I think my track record is better than yours. I predicted reverse split while you were saying no such thing was planned. I take what you say with a grain of salt.
If the company is all the great things that you say it is then that is great. I like success stories. I'll wait for pr's from the company and hopefully its good news for shareholders. I hold no ill will or bias against you or anyone here. I just call it like i see it and something didnt smell right.
Somebody from the NSDM board initially got me onto this one as they were attacking NSDM. I noticed they were a GPVI holder so i figured i see what made there company so great. Some even accused them of being Spelliscy but i have no proof of that nor do i care. I saw that things didnt even look nearly as good as NSDM. I have followed it as a stock to watch with great interest ever since.
If this company hits it big , GREAT and God Bless them. If i see something that looks funny to me i'll comment on it. Its a free country
What is this, the Lebanesesproud board?
Anyhow, look for a PR before close.
Leb. if you can put your personal grudge for Shaun aside for a moment and call the company for info. rather than pulling it out of your bias ass- then perhaps you can refrain from tainting this board. If you have any questions I would be more than happy to speak with you.
The Co. apologizes for the delay and expect more news come Sept.
JPlandry I not 100% certian all is lost yet. Management will determine if all is lost or not. Just divide the amount of shares you own in GPVI by 4 and you will receieve that amount of shares in GPVN. Whether or not the shares retain their value or not all depends on the plan of action of GPVN. Good luck
Maybe everyone should call for there certs. Nobody seems to know who the transfer agent is these days. Make the company produce the certs. The transfer agent has to be listed on the cert. Im curious to see a cert. Maybe i'll by a few shares and test them.
That will also then give me an excuse to take a trip to the company to inspect the books. There is a little known or utilized rule that a visiting shareholder can inspect the books with proper notice given to the company.
I've never invested in a company in which this change has happened before, so I am just curious of what happens now? I know investing is a gamble, but just wondering if all is lost or will shares transfer over to GPVN, etc?
Thanks for your input ...
Mweco the question is financing for what? If you are saying financing in place of the Garnet Point JV then i agree its positive because it shows that the company still has high hope for the property. If its financing for some new project then i would be very leary. My experience is that a drastic change in direction with these companies almost always is a major sign of trouble.
Mayor I meant every word of it and truly wish you the best. I think the key is to see what they have to say about the original properties mentioned in pr's since the company began trading.
If they disregard or sell off those properties and projects and come out with an entirely different agenda then we know they are BS artists imho. If they show advancements of the main original properties then i think there is still hope. If GPVN management can do something that proves out actual positive results and is profitable for shareholders then i will be the first one here to give credit where its due. Thats a very longshot at this point but i'll keep an eye on events.
I want to see everyone make money (the shareholders in particular) who seem to always get the short end of the stick. If anyone has ideas for us all to make money please share. There is no news from this company so lets turn this board into a room where we can shares positive ideas and that we may all benefit from.
Thank you for your concern and kind words L. And your are right, as an analogy to one of my fav games, poker, holding diamonds in your hand doesnt help when there is nothing but clubs floping. It looks like they are trying to reshuffle and use another deck. I guess we will just see what cards get delt with this.
Will this chat room close down?
-MS
This is now GPVN ...... right?? Interesting, we'll see what happens. d.
