Thanks for Stealing all my money George!!!
I have the same problem with Fidelity and GFME shares. So do we just sit here indefinitely? How long does it take for them to be "worthless" so I can take this tax write off?
I spoke with a rep at Fidelity about getting this turd out of my portfolio, and I was told it cannot be removed because it is not "worthless" yet. Whatever that means. Here is the reply I received:
"With regards to GFME, that security has not been deemed worthless at this time and would not be eligible to be removed from the account. If the description shows No Stockholder's Equity, we can put in a request to remove that security at that time."
WOW has not been a post here in 8 months...I remember the good ole days when GFME was active and lots of posts.
Oh you got wiped out over here too LOL!
I wonder why they did their filings a couple years ago...then dropped the ball?

It would be very nice if they incorporated the gym into this shell, but I don't think it is likely. However, I will shoot off an email to the CFO and see if I can get a response. It would be a breath of fresh air if something happened with this shell. As of right now, it is collecting minimal revenues and seems to be on the back burner.
Z, what do you think of George Foreman Gym, "The Club" being rolled out and expanded in multiple locations with a ready made ticker of GFME. It has only been open for a few weeks in Boston but if it shows promise this would be a perfect way to expand.

There has been about a thousand increased likes in the past month or so.
I hope the company sells this shell..... what a waste.
Such a shame Z...this one had some real potential.
I totally missed it...how much volume did they have on Wednesday?
Holy moly volume.... Anyone pick up some shares or dump today? Not that I blame either party...this turd needs to move every so often.
mg, totally agree on that, so many signs for so long, too coincidental. I am still convinced there was something going on.
That said, I think it's possible with the huge run-up and speculation may have made Holtzman and team shy away or wary of using it, hard to know. Either that or Homeclick just isn't where they want it to be yet. Very quiet now, but always watching to see if they ressurect.
There were so many signs that pointed Homeclick towards GFME, for a very long time it was hard to visualize them being just a coincidence. I am interested to see what Seymour eventually ends up doing here, and how he plans to tie this company/shell into one of his other ventures.
Yes reason to hope. If the gym is successful, what better way to raise money and expand the brand nationally then through GFME. I am feeling more optimistic about this direction for GFME than being tied to Homeclick.
He's definitely not getting any younger Leb. :/ This guy has so many investments in his portfolio though, its impossible to know what his long-term plans might be.
Thanks for keeping an eye on things. I too am always interested to hear of George and Seymours current business moves, hoping that eventually it leads to GFME's shell being tied into the plans!
Good to see you Lebaneseproud!

Looks impressive. Could be a unique idea and approach to fitness within the fitness industry.
Has over 8000 fans on facebook and the place hasn't opened yet. Check out The Club by George Foreman III.
If it does well, would national expansion be fueled by a publicly traded company by Dad?
George Foreman III interviewed on the opening of Boston's Luxury Boxing Gym in December.

Here is an interview Seymour did earlier this year. Who knows maybe the Vietnamese LED Lighting situation he mentioned towards the end of the interview is something he could eventually roll into the shell. This guy has different opportunities presented to him all the time. But he is looking a little frail to me.
Anyway , the interview is about an hour long but an interesting interview.

Hi guys. Communicating with shareholders is not one of their strengths. Personally I dont think they give a damm about the shareholders. If anybody can get a hold of them, the key question is to ask them about the current share ownership. Did Seymour have to pay Foreman a bunch of shares? Did they mutually agree to extend the agreement to a later date? They wouldnt have to file an 8-k on it if they did because its now a non-reporting company.
Its important to know what the current share ownership situation is to be able to at least speculate on what their plans might be and who might do what with the shell.
If anyone does get a hold of them, ask them about the current share ownership. I dont see why they couldnt answer those questions about share ownership to a shareholder. Shareholder ownership percentages is not insider information and the only reason I can see them not wanting to divulge such a thing is they just want to be assh-les.
If Seymour still holds the controlling interest in the companys shares, I just cant see him letting a valuable asset like a shell go to waste. He may for a while but eventually I think he would put it to use for his benefit somehow(although he is not getting any younger). Either way, I still think it will take a great deal of patience on this one as has always been the case for a very long time with this one. It seems to go into long dormant cycles. Best of luck to all here and hope we are surprised and dont have to wait too long.
Tell me about it I only hold a little I'm so glad I didn't sink 5 gs in this pos
I hear ya man, I have been supporting this stock and trying to communicate with the company here for yeaaaaars. GFME has been a rough ride for anyone whose owned it the last 2 years.
Man I used to be obsessed with the story here! Well, raise your glass to hope and future success!
Haha 20 bags would indeed be nice. And the funny thing is, from .05 that shouldnt even take much! As we have all said it is really a shame what happened here. No reason for the company to let it get this low. Even some minimal communication could have saved alot of the bleeding here. Keeping us in the dark for years at a time is ridiculous.
I'm checking them a day early? Wouldn't it be amazing to have a happy ending here. Ten bags isn't going to get me to green here, lets hope for twenty.
Another "check your losses" Friday here in GFME. I keep debating grabbing those 10,000 shares available at .05, but with the company giving us NO reason to buy right now, I think I have supported the stock enough for the time being! Really a shame.
Have a good weekend everyone!
Been a lot of gut-checks around here the last year. :( Never in a million years though it would get this low. Hopefully SOMEDAY our patience around here will pay off.
I have called the company several times over the last 6 months. With Seymour Holtzman and George Foreman owning so many shares, I doubt they care at all what happens right now with the share price, they are not going to be rushed by anyone and will do something here when they are good and ready.
Unfortunately, the reality is that this is a shell with great potential that will continue to stay on the back burner until that point. This could be the easiest 10-bagger on the pinksheets given the tightly held float here. Really a shame it has gotten this low.
yes I would think so too...im in another real merger beac!
Seems to me that there should have been an 8k no matter what happened or didn't happen.
so....did George get this shell back? what happened as this obviously fell to pieces?
