Probably being removed from the Small-Cap 600 required some Company or Hedge Fund investment guidelines were not met so had to exit FRED. Most ppl are taking advantage of the selloff as a buying opportunity!! I'm staying long.

It's down after being kicked off SmallCap 600, but 99.99% buys to slowly bring it back up. Magmt is serious about revamping the company,trimming waste and unneeded assets, and reducing debt. They will return to be a serious competitor in the market. IMHO

He offers no technical analysis, per se. He shows what happened - usually after a big gain - has no clue why it happened (he speculates sometimes, i.e., pump and dump) but has no idea what company news or event had an influence on the volume or the price movement, up, or down.

Nothing someone, anyone, couldn't explore for themselves. Always claims the price will somehow, magically, be obligated to stay above his purple line, and implies that support should not be broken,....unless it is.

Where's it going from here? Same answer every time: "We shall see."

Worthless charts, worthless commentary, worthless, worthless, worthless....if not for the fact that after the gain catches his radar, the next day the move is usually down.

Shares Of Fred's, Inc. $FRED Likely To Bounce Hard Here

Shares of Fred's, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRED) continue to get ravaged as the company struggles to survive. Now at $1.85, the stock is basically priced for bankruptcy. However, that means there may be an upside surprise lurking. In the very least, the stock chart is signaling a technical bounce on the horizon off the $1.85 level. If you look at the chart, the stock has been in a steep downtrend for well over a year. However, every flush to a major trend-line (shown below in the chart) has yielded a big bounce. As of today, that same trend-line is being hit again. This ups the odds significantly of a strong bounce higher. I have a $2.40 target penciled in from this $1.85 level. That would be a sweet return in just days/weeks of 30%.

Hey Alpha, welcome to the club!
FRED has been very good to me as a short term trade. I like to buy 4 or 5 thousand shares and turn them after they rise a few percent. FRED does this quite often. I did get caught a few weeks ago as the price dropped but, it will go back up again soon. I am sure of this.
You're right, FRED is an ongoing concern and doesn't appear to be going anywhere. So, I think it's even a good buy and hold and we should see this back over 5 sometime this spring in my opinion.
