yep, the OTC was always about enriching an elite club of noteholders, who crushed the crap out of small investors, while market makers naked shorted them through multiple reverse splits.

then the icing on the cake was when the SEC finally suspended the ticker, thus wiping out any remaining investors, under the guise of "protecting the small investors".

meanwhile, shorts got to cover in the grey market, to make another boatload.

and the crooks were hit with civil charges, that carried no prison time.

Initially, the Ethereum blockchain was established as one network in which transactions were facilitated by using the cryptocurrency ether of ETH. However, in June 2016, the blockchain was hacked and $50 million worth of funds were stolen.

As a result, a split or hard fork was performed to secure the network. Ethereum Classic emerged as a split version of Ethereum's blockchain, the other being Ethereum itself.2 The split was performed to return the stolen funds to their original owners, as per the records prior to the hack.

This resulted in a fork leading to the two versions existing simultaneously. The newer network, or Ethereum, uses ETH or ether as its cryptocurrency while the older one, renamed Ethereum Classic, uses ETC.

people aren't believing the media hype, it's just that crypto is a lot easier to manipulate than most realize.

groups of whales load up on ETH shorts:

they are so heavy into their short, those gains offset any cost of bid-whacking.

then when it's time to push it back up, the whales dip into that massive warchest of cash and buy their dip.

the icing on the cake is how easy it is for algorithms to influence price action. this began years ago in equities markets and now flourishes in an unregulated crypto space.

Ether was used as an actual Currency more than it ever has been in 6 years , spiking Gas Fees and causing VB to spite donate all these ShitCoins to kick the feet out from under them.

Later realizes ShitCoin trading crossed his Ether holdings into Billionaire status as he burned 90% of his remaining Shiba Inu coins to try to say "sorry" but too late. Ether would be at 5k right now otherwise. Well played Vitalik you kicked yourself in the nuts
