there are some brokers that do allow pinks to be shorted...but a hefty margin is required...
I saw that notice on E-Trade as well, so it sounds like things have finally caught up with ELCR - I mean it only took over 10 years but.... lol...I made some nice profit off this a couple years back when it was churning for no reason, so I'm not angry with ELCR but it is very wrong that the SEC allows this kind of nonsense.
It may be getting delisted, I just received a letter from my brokerage for Position removal program on elcr, non transferable, securities, so I’m assuming this done?
I figured the name of this companies would bring it back to life
SOUNDS GREAT A ;WHISKYLADY
ELCR is
Electric Car Company, Inc.
Common Stock
?
Expert Market
?Delinquent SEC Reporting
?Caveat Emptor
?Transfer Agent Verified
?Shell
It's a shell stick symbol with delinquent filling
ELCR dose not make cars.
Electric cars are going to be the future. All Dodge Chargers are going to be electric beginning in 2024.
I think this will come alive.soon.i hope so.
The government is flooding money into Electric Cars. This stock is no exception. They are going to be cranking them out.
Toilet has huge value on Taco Tuedsays.
LOL no... even a toilet has some value.
YES IT IS SKYROCKET RIGHT IN TO THE TOILET.
Can you explain why and when?
yes delisting is coming!
LOL - I'm actually surprised to see this board is still here. I figured by now this would have been shut down.
Lol! What are you waiting to see? i’ll be the guinea pig to ask a question to get the punchline….What’s coming?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It didn't even do dat in da last 12 years, nothing at all.
Oops wrong board post
I feel your pain. I was in Tesla at $50 with a large investment, and sold out at $250ish which made me a chunk - but if I had held it through until now, I would be retired.
Ugh.
I had 20 Million shares of ELCR from 2014 @ 0.0002
and ELCR had less than $100 in volume daily for 7 years
and in 2020 there was sudden volume surge around August of 2020
I sold all at $0.0001
and after few month I checked and realized it hit 0.008
I sold all 20 million shares at $0.0001 for $2000
it could have been $160,000 instead of $2000 loss if I waited 3 more months
I waited 7 years but missed the chance
you could give a try and wait 10 years but it may or might not happen or even possible to get delisted
I don't recommend though
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
YOU WILL DO BETTER WITH LOTTO TICKETS.
there was some hype about this stock about a year ago. I bought a little & made some $ on it. Someone was saying that Apple or Tesla could buy it out just for the name. This was around the same time Robinhood took off & Gamestop was surging. ELCR actually hit 0.01, I watched it it kept hitting 0.0099, a lot of people that got in at 0.001 were selling it was crazy this was going on for 3-4 days. I think this all happened bc newbies were using Robinhood and reading hype on Reddit & Stocktwits on Twitter. I researched it & all I could find was that ELCR was supposedly involved w/ a new electric Ford Mustang, maybe they r consultants. I also saw they use to make electric trucks, limos, hearse...
Thanks for the reply. Good to know so I don't plan my retirement on this one.
When a stock registration gets revoked, it becomes untradeable on any exchange or the OTC. You'll own shares of a private company that you won't be able to sell.
This company is also completely dead, abandoned a decade ago.
"Revoke" ? I'm new to this game. What happens to shares we own? Does it just disappear? Thank you for always patiently explaining to us.
Please, let us know when SEC initiates a revocation, I don’t think that ELCR is a revocable stock, when the ask is .0023 on Td Ameritrade.
When the SEC suspends for severe delinquency in reporting, they initiate revocation hearings for the stock. This company is dead, so revocation is inevitable, just a matter of when.
Grey sheet doesn’t mention anything about revoking, “A gray market is an unofficial market for financial securities. Gray (or “grey”) market trading generally occurs when a stock that has been suspended from trades off the market, or when new securities are bought and sold before official trading begins. ... The gray market is an unofficial one but is not illegal.
This stock is already on the grey sheets, so there are no quotations to begin with, matched trades only. It was suspended by the SEC months ago for severe delinquency, but it's been completely dead for a decade. When the SEC suspends, they begin the revocation process, and since the company is dead, it is just a matter of time.
Once revoked it will not trade publicly at all, not even on the greys.
It says eliminated quotations. They just disappear?
Already on the grey sheets, though there'll be no expert market anymore, even less liquidity.
This one is due to be revoked by the SEC.
Wait. Really?? I have t seen that anywhere?
They have filed for bankruptcy
What is the date for rule change?
Someone bought 77,000,000 shares today. How did they do it?
