Yes, I sold all of it to take the tax loss, but I would consult your accountant to make sure you take the correct course of action. I didn't see any other way for me and my broker allowed me to sell since I still had a balance above the trading fee.

It looks like the new Crailar is a privately held company, at least thats what it says in their website.

I understand where you are coming from since it was never done before, especially after the Pamplico facility debacle. Unfortunately, as a public company, they should had been a bit more realistic with their projections to account for the mishaps, but I guess management needed the cash. In the end, the former employees and the shareholders were left out to dry.

I wrote to the company voicing my concerns about 2 weeks ago, but I still have not received a reply, which is very disappointing. Yet, the new Crailar FTI, with almost the same management, is revamping their website for a Sept. 30th launch and the hard earned money the rest of us invested is just dust in the wind.

There's money to be made with Flax Fiber if you do your home work and ask the questions need asking. I must say however if one of your first question is who am I going to get to head this operation then you've started with the wrong question. Former employees are one of you key source to having a viable company. Not talking about management. Not talking about CEOs. I'm talking about the men and women who operate the machines. Crailar started out good. The product was good. Somewhere down the line it lost it way. Do I know when? Not really but like most I have my opinion. Whos to say my opinion was right. Investors continue to ask about whats happening with this stock and I tell them exactly what I post here online,that I have talked with Bowra group in Canada and they tell me two things, that old management now owns IP of Crailar and that its not "likely" that they will take care in any way past shareholders,but that they also are surprised at how the whole chain of events came down with the american Georgia Pacific bidding against old Crailar..seems like not to many players are talking other than the fact the the new FTI Crailar say on the new site that they have no affiliates with old,but we all know it's the same people..SEC here in the USA would help sort things out but alas Canada players stand to gain more from playing it dumb now.. Halted in Canada two months ago this stock still trades here in the US,after the canadian bankruptcy proceedings allow all the trademarks and IP to be transfered to new/same management going forward with a slight name change Crailar FTI, and now they expect to take up old contracts also created by past Crailar and shareholders $..doesn't the new Crailar feel any luv for the supporters and if NOT sec.should halt trading here also befor even More damage is done....unless FTI is on board for a kinder gentler new Crailar board of directors, after all most old contracts are with US entities and markets for products will be here..just saying..do the right thing.T.xtp
