Paulie, if Obama can add seven states to the Union, I should be permitted to add two measly days to the year. Besides, here in Las Vegas every day is like every other. Unremitting sunshine, and less than an inch of rain at my mud hut. So I see no reason to ration days.

367 days a year? How come you get 2 more days a year than the rest of us???
Is your penny-stock investment disappearing faster than a pack of smokes at an AA meeting?
YW my dear friend. I must say it pleases my heart greatly to see you posting.
One BIG Hug,
Thanks for letting me know, Gary.
Awwwwwwww.... (blushing)!
You're the bestest, Walk!
Thank you, Walk. :)
Am happy to hear you're doing well.
A friend of this board has passed, R.I.P. MOPAR10R/T (RON):

FWIW: I meant to post this last night but iHub went down.
no I missed it, had some errands to run this morning
You don't need a river, you were always cool.

Paulie, I live in Las Vegas, we have 367 days of sunshine a year. We have air conditioning (if you can afford the electric bills), taxis and twenty four hour casinos as well as an assortment of critters and varmints like Harry Reid. I'd rather live in Truckee but can't afford the move.
Walk
Brightens my day just to see your smiling face. I'm getting by, old age always brings a few interesting new aspects. Still mobile, still driving, taking life very easy. A pleasure to see you posting.

But you have little puppies that pee on 'puters.
Heard on the news that centipedes and scorpions were also moving in looking for water...if that happens to me I'll move to NewYawkCity, believe me.
Good luck with it, Sue.
Hope you got today's buy at the low.
Move up north to civilization! We have air-conditioning, taxis and 24-hour stores. No critters, varmints, locusts or scalliwags.

well I held this last one for a few weeks, but doubled on it, held back a few for the next double up. I have MSMY that I have been buying since march, just added another 5k today
Great idea, Sue...
"... make $100 a day and move on."
I'm still an advocate of buy and hold albeit it's kinda nerve-wracking sometimes...especially the last couple of weeks.
I am always in shoulda, woulda, coulda mode, buying and waiting on MSMY to have its day. in and out of a few other things, trying my new trading idea, make $100 a day and move on.
I kinda figured it was in that area.
Are you a train buff?
We keep watching disturbances in the Caribbean hoping the next storm heads for the Texas coast. It might be one of those cases where one should be careful what they wish for but we're desperate.
How's this market treating you, Sue? Keeps you on your toes, eh?
Saw the news this morning re Google and Motorola Solutions. I held Motorola for the longest time and when they spun off Motorola Holdings and Motorola Solutions I sold all of it months ago. Wish I woulda held now....sigh.
Story of my life, woulda-shoulda-coulda...
Thanks back at you !! Photo was taken in Truckee, Ca. Where I expect to be soon.
Good one, Walk. :)
Hope you're doing well, my friend.
Thanks, Nerachal...
I liked yours too. LOL
Am curious about your siggy picture. Where was it taken? Wherever it was I sure would like to be there right now. I live in Southwest Texas where it's hot and dry day after day after day...
oh my I see the drought on the news, I saw that one town had shut off the water to the town because the lake was gone. It is bed and I feel for you there. Of course we are in the rainy season, ok so hurricanes but still wet. I will set up my fan outside so I can blow some of it your way. Not sure I want to wake up to a snake in my house either.
I think Jethro would be great with cats especially mine since they don't know they're cats. How many do you have now?
You ask how I am. Where to start! My number one prob here is our severe drought. I've already lost my lawn and now I'm trying to save our trees and shrubs. Started a garden early but finally abandoned it to the deer. All wildlife is suffering here...I kept water in the birdbath for them and even that wasn't enough so I finally put out a couple of buckets. Now I have deer, 'coons, 'possums, one lone fox and sometimes a skunk visiting nightly. There have been articles about wildlife entering homes looking for water...my neighbour discovered a 'possum under her bed and a couple of weeks later found a coral snake in her bathroom. She's planning on moving North ASAP.
Now there's also a very long tale about the calendars I keep in my home office and kitchen and how they've screwed up my life (one has wrong dates). But that's a story I'll save for another time. Gotta go move water hoses for now...
"four stupid Democrats"
Scuse me, isn't that one of them oxy morons?
Walk
Great post !!!! One back at you to share !!!
IN RESPONSE TO THE EMAIL CONCERNING MY DOG...
Please be advised I am sick and tired of receiving questions about my dog who mauled six illegal aliens wearing Obama tee shirts, four stupid Democrats wearing Pelosi tee shirts, two rappers, nine teenagers with pants hanging down past their cracks, eight customer service desk people speaking in broken English, three flag burners, and a Pakistani taxi driver.
FOR THE LAST TIME...
The Dog Is NOT For sale!
HO Lee is right, wowzer, you think he is good with cats?
How are ya?
Dear PS, although I am stuck here in Vegas forever, it isn't by choice. I didn't come here to gamble and never do, so my knowledge of the casinos is very limited. Most are still in business, although the economy is hurting. We are the foreclosure capital of the world. Casinos have laid off lots of employees.
I always voted against Harry Reid, the crook, and I thought we'd get him finally voted out last time but we failed. Not a lot of people in the misbegotten desert state, but I think the vote went something like 760,000 to 720,000. Too bad.
I don't watch the Lamestream media locally, can't stand their lies or their attitudes, so I don't see it when casinos close. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Walk
if you don't have it and I do't have it, I bet the little quack did take it home.
so how you been, good to see you back
Hi Walk, actually I, too...quit smoking completely in the 1980's. Cold turkey too. I wasn't very pleasant to be around as I recall.
I can't believe quite a few teens and college-age kids are still at it though. I live in a University town and see evidence of it every day. Guess they'll learn the hard way that there will be consequences some day.
What's happening in your town? Looks like the older casinos are fading away. Now that the Stardust closed their doors which ones are left?
Howdy Suetta...thinking about the pink pickle sure brings back some great memories. NO! Not that kind. LOL Am remembering Marie's reaction. Bless her heart, what a good sport she was.
But to answer your questions...yes, it's really me and no, I don't believe the little Quacker would be brave enuff to take the pink pickle home with him as I think he'd have a helluva time explaining it to his new bride!
Soooo, where is it? Hmmmmm? C'mon now, fess up!
is this really you or did someone hijack your alias?
if it is really you answer me this, did Ducky take the pink pickle?
That's great news PS! Good for you. I woke up one morning in the 1980's and quit cold. Never had another. You can do it too.
Wonderful news, glad to hear it.
Walk
Oh My, there have been BIG changes in my life since I sent you that postcard, Paulie.
I've quit smoking!!
(I'll get you...some day!)
Thanks for the postcard! Good to see you back.
