CRLJ Fight Company, an Emerging Leader in Mixed Marshal Arts (MMA), Announces Mergers
& Acquisitions Strategy
AMES, IA, Aug 21, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- The Fight Company LLC, an
operating division of Core Resources, LTD (PINKSHEETS: CRLJ), announced today
that the company is launching an aggressive mergers & acquisitions program
focused on consolidating the fragmented Mixed Marshal Arts (MMA) industry.
President Brett Stevens commented, "Modern fighting, in its many forms, is
fragmented, and lacks a publicly traded flagship. Many of the promising fight
companies are private, and would benefit from joining forces with The Fight
Company LLC. We are hoping to shake things up in the industry by providing a
vehicle for promising MMA companies to access the public markets in addition to
superior management capabilities. The industry is currently comprised of a few
major players and many successful small companies. These small companies would
benefit immensely by joining forces with the Fight Company by utilizing the power
of a public vehicle to bring their fighters into the mainstream using our strong
financial resources; managerial talent and our state-of-the-art gymnasiums.
Additionally, companies involved in media production, merchandising, event
promotion and endorsements of the athletes will all be part of the Fight Company
network providing a streamlined approach to rapidly and profitably bring our team
to the forefront of the MMA industry."
Companies who are interested in joining Fight Co. are encouraged to contact the

Iowa has produced 3 of the world champion MMA guys. They have two of the top wrestling colleges in the US. I saw a Fight Co guy on payperview-- very cool
DUMB LUCK: Here it is folks! This is one of those reverse-takeovers everyone looks for. The market cap of the company is so small that they can build the company without a reverse stock split!!! Thier website sucks butt. I predict a new one within the week. They're in Iowa... that state is so boring there's nothing to do but grow corn and wrestle.
Thanks for the update Spark.

Folks waiting on what's next..I hope it's a symbol change etc..

He eats his opponents.
nice news but the website is brutal what is this? their champion looks like he should be in a pie eating contest instead of martial arts
Good to see it's verifiable, looking for action to heat up.
I know you're a fan of MMA..be nice to see them do well..cheap here.. ;)
FightCo. already manages over 200 fighters in numerous states. The fighters are of many levels, including UFC veterans, such as Charles Diaz, who is currently training a new fighting team that FightCo. is putting together.

I would expect more news soon that PR saying they took over should be the beginning of good news IMO. You would think they waited untill they had some good things lined up before they PRed that they took over the company and With the low float we could easily see multi pennies

Hey Track, What's up here? tia
Hey blackpearl, Nice to see someone from Chico post. I'm a Chico grad back in 1987. It been so long since I've been up there, I bet I wouldn't even recognize the town.
Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a combat sport in which a wide variety of fighting techniques are used, including striking and grappling.
Modern mixed martial arts tournaments as a popular phenomenon emerged in 1993 with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, based on the concept of pitting different fighting styles against each other in competition with minimal rules, in an attempt to determine which system would be more effective in a real, unregulated combat situation.[1] In the late 1990s and early 2000s, mixed martial arts competitions implemented additional rules for the safety of the athletes and to promote acceptance of the sport, while maintaining as much of the original no-holds-barred concept as possible. Since these changes, the sport has grown rapidly, to the point of setting pay-per-view records.[2]
The history of the modern MMA tournament can be traced to the Gracie family's vale tudo martial arts tournaments in Brazil starting in the 1920s, and early mixed martial arts matches hosted by Antonio Inoki in Japan in the 1970s. The fighting concept of combining various combat disciplines gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with the emergence of Bruce Lee and his theories of mixing various martial art styles. The sport gained international exposure and widespread publicity in the United States in 1993, when Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighter Royce Gracie dominated the Ultimate Fighting Championship, sparking a revolution in the martial arts,[3] while in Japan the continued interest in the sport resulted in 1997's creation of the PRIDE Fighting Championships.[4]
Looking forward to it...we're gonna start seeing more activity, long overdue.
