Out this morning @8.91 on pop - I’ll hit it again if it resets
Slow but steady. Next stimulus pkg should send this one up another 10%
I normally daytrade or swing trade, but I bot CX today to hold for a few months on the coming infrastructure package. In at 6.99
CX is our new long-term 2021 play, this company is undervalued big time. The weekly set up is brilliant!

CX says they won't take border contract
I say BS
JMO of course
Yep... hit in the 4s. We'll see if CX hits my target by Jan. Looks likely right now.
I sold at around 12 awhile back and have played the move a couple times. This stock has tended to move with the U.S. economy and housing market, despite its global position.
For a long position (long-term), I am looking/hoping to re-buy in the high 3s somewhere. My guess is that its bottom may be around 3.95-4.40. I believe this is likely for a variety of reasons, but given the election hoopla is about to begin, and Spring is coming, that's where I'm picking the bottom this cycle. Once it bottoms though there should be a big massive move up, imo. I will buy wherever its at come Jan. though.
Daily swings are good for trading if you catch the right direction.

Anybody seriously following this right now? Let's open up some talks on where the bottom might be....

$CX DD Notes ~ http://www.ddnotesmaker.com/CX
Looks like right now may be the time to get into $CX. Although you made a great call when you did. JMO, of course.
,,,,,,,How is that related to Cemex??
$CX the stock has hit a 52-week low of $2.27 and 52-week high of $8.87. Short target 5.50 (Tech. Support and fibo 50%). Chart http://bit.ly/HTd2aL
Looks like a new positive trend is developing. If the overall market doesn't pull back too much CX should start making some new 52 week highs. I think we hit $10 within 90 days.
I'm here watching, invested and very interested. I believe as the global economy continues to recover and heal that cemex will be on the cutting edge of that rehabilitation. After spending 20 plus years in the industry im excited to see the story unfold. I remember buying this beauty under 30 and remembering then what a deal it was.
Great to see Your post here I wish I had an answer about this boards inactivity . I am sure that as things progress We shall see some more interest here , Keep finding facts I always say, and do the DD // I see the trends as You stated up 120 %
Just want to share a few thoughts:
This is the most inactive board I've ever seen. Surprising, considering my modest holdings are up 120% since last Fall. Wish I could say the same for my other investments too.
I wanted to watch the CEMEX story unfold since I felt Senor Zambrano demonstrated the creative capacity to make the right moves. In general, I am attracted to the down-to-earth potential of cement, and its related products.
CEMEX did well with the 600,000 million Venezuela settlement, then later hearing reports about Bill Gates loading up. Lately, a series of positive news releases with much stronger financials surfacing. What more could an investor want? Also, they are smart enough to repurchase shares over time as greater prosperity matures. For now, I understand the need to pay-down the debt load.
I see CEMEX as the canary-in-the-mine-shaft relative to the overall health of the global economic recovery. Without CEMEX there will be no viable potential for global recovery. IMO, of course.
CEMEX retains impressive goals in respect to global dominance even though they took a downside hit from the Rinker deal. Just unforeseen "bad-luck-timing" which should heal over time. It looks like Australia is moving toward a healthier growth curve. Not sure if or how it might tie-in with the recent massive precious metals story in Australia. I will attempt to stay on top of progress "down-under."
Share price under ten bucks has to be a plus for new blood.
Mexico is a proud country full of talented people who relish the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to achieve on an impressive scale.
Best Wishes to All
Chart starting to look very nice....200dma not far away...accumilation picking up nicely...healthy pullback wouldn't hurt but the $S&P confirmation of the market rally could just keep everything moving north for now...i'm not complaining...Happy Holidays to all and good luck in 2012!!!!!
Cemex, love the volatility. Great stock for longs and traders. No recovery without CX.
