Larry thanks-
If the gap closes it looks down. Appreciate the overbought post.
From Frankfurt on the road- where they dont want us to take Iraq because it may destabilize Turkey. I guess an abomb in the hands of a madman will not destabilize Turkey?

Larry- is VEL long only or long and short?
answer:
Today 9/10/02 Vel has an over bought reading on ELX.
Since I do not short, I plan to do nothing.

Relax bottom fishers.
The Q stocks would need drops from 12 to 18% tomorrow
in order to go bottom fishing.

not to be present in the topping formations
Agreed. Tops seem to have more of a panting, wheezing exhausted "feel".
lurqer
Larry, you continue to start new threads continuously, LOL. godd luck! tim

A good question. But bottoms tend to have that "sharp"
panic to the down side, which seem not to be present in
the topping formations.IMHO.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hal1/
Larry Dudash
Guess I don't understand the "bottom fishing". I understand "extremal picking" - i.e. waiting until "indications" are that the market is at a local extreme before entering a trade. But why preferentially select bottoms over tops - especially if the primary trend is bearish? If the idea is buy low and sell high, why should it matter which side of the trade comes first?
Just wondering.

doesn't zeev 'bottom fish' these stocks for a full point (a bucker) a few times a week? will the projected calls on this board, being more rare--only a few times a month--be better risk/reward situations? what will be different? tia.

answer:
The best way to answer your question is to watch Vel in real time action a few times.
Like Zeev does, I'll announce right here the stock and entry price.
The best way to follow Vel is to "click" Add Person Mark (Larry Dudash) and wait for a drop in the market.
