Concerns about AUML
It is NOT a new or unique concept. There are already many such businesses, in the US, Australia and London. The largest may be AuctionDrop, affiliated with UPS, so you can drop off items at local UPS stores across the USA. AuctionDrop received several million in venture capital.
Other US-based eBay trading assistant companies have done such things as develop their own software for coordinating auction information with eBay, notably,
www.numarkets.com
which has 6 locations in Georgia, N. Carolina & Tennessee, each listed with phnone numbers and email addresses, and was also begun with venture capital.
Another prominent player: www.quikdrop.com, has far more extensive explanations of its franchise offerring than does AuctionMills.

e-Powersellers Sells Drop-Off Store Franchise on eBay
By Ina Steiner
AuctionBytes.com
April 01, 2004
e-Powersellers is selling an eBay drop-off store franchise on eBay for $14,995. Drop-off stores sell items on eBay on a consignment basis for consumers who drop the items off at retail locations. There's been a steady increase of stores opening since 2003 in the U.S., with a concentration in California, as well as locations in Germany and some planned for Australia.
e-Powersellers also announced agreements in place to allow franchise in five states, Oregon, Utah Colorado, Arizona & Nevada, with opportunities to follow in May 2004 for California, Washington, Hawaii, Texas, and New York. e-Powersellers already has offices located in Oregon and California.
"Since opening in December of 2002 we have had an overwhelming interest in e-Powersellers.com franchises," said Craig Solomon, founder and CEO of e-Powersellers.com. e-Powersellers Web site has been working as a third party eBay support forum, chat room and auction support site for the last 2 years.
---------------
These are just examples, with many more to be found at www.auctionbytes.com. If you examine the site, you'll see AuctionMills is one in a million, so to speak.
AuctionMills intends to compete with numerous companies that have selling track records on their own turf. These companies have also been getting great interest in their franchises. If you go to one of their two stated locations, in Dallas or McKinney, would they be able to take your items?
The other companies put their effort into actually making valid, operating businesses. AuctionMills has nothing but a pretty website, with no information on the company's managers. The other companies have not issued any stock, they've convinced investors with their business plans put into operation. AuctionMills has sold nothing yet but stock, and that on the PinkSheets, where regulations are next to nothing. It could be that somebody has made a great deal of money on something that's not there when you look closely.
Everyone be very, very careful.
Re: flycutter...bid/ask...
rpt's direction is excellent.
Once you're read it, you'll see that not knowing the bid/ask is really to trade blindly.
BE CAREFUL!
Re: "Penny stocks under $5 dollars dont show the bid/ask..."
I'm new and trying to learn so please excuse my obvious ignorance.
Why would knowing the bid/ask be invaluable for this? What is the importance of the bid/ask?
Auction Mills Inc. Announces Upward Revised Target Price
Monday August 9, 8:30 am ET
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 9, 2004--Auction Mills Inc. (PinkSheets:AUML - News) has received a revised target price for its common stock from Market Advisors of $4.875. Is there any place you can get real time level for pinkies for FREE??
Re: "Penny stocks under $5 dollars dont show the bid/ask..."
Thanks, but yes, they do. I watch many OTC BB stocks on ameritrade, for free at finance.yahoo.com and on this site. For almost all, there are Level II. At ameritrade if you subscribe, and here, 15 or so minutes delayed.
AUML is a pink sheet stock, that is, it's OTC, but not OTC BB or bulletin board. Nevertheless, I've seen the Level IIs for some other pink sheets, both on ameritrade & on the free sites, even for stock under a penny.
It must have something to do with AUML, or at least the Market Makers.
When I find out for sure, I'll post it here. Knowing the current bid/ask would be invaluable for this.
Penny stocks under $5 dollars dont show the bid/ask for some reason.

Here's a Google site where you can pick a site to practice paper trading until your ready to jump in with both feet...Good Luck.

Suggest you just watch for awhile...and just paper trade till you get it figured out.
Who are you using for online trading??
rpt
Hello all,
I'm new to this board, having just bought into AUML yesterday, 8/4.
Does anyone know why one can't see the current bid/ask anywhere?
It's not on Yahoo, not on any free, delayed Level IIs, and it's not on Datek/Ameritrade, which I use.
Does the company have to subscribe to some service to have it's bid/ask displayed? You can't judge what's going on witht the MMs, and this may account for the odd trades earlier this afternoon, 8/5, where you had odd sequences such as:
400 @ 1.03
5000 @ 1.08
1000 @ 1.07
500 @ 1.01
etc.
Yes you can...I just don't have pink sheets level 2 ...this is my limit on posts today...not a paying member...don't normally post at all...seems this board died a sudden death...it looks to be holding up well(the stock) I thought it would tank...looks like maybe a small selloff at close...had a great rise the last 2 - 3 weeks though...may buy more in the 80 cent range in a few days...actually maybe tomorrow being a Friday...good luck to you.....am looking to maybe get pinks level 2 from Scotttrade if they have it...adios until manana..
You can buy pink slips thru freetrade?
I have freetrade, they already showed up yesterday after hours ...call your broker for an update...
When will I see my new shares
Yes it did split, and is at 1.09 at the moment...
Did Auction Mills split 5 for 1 on August 4th? I am really new at this. How will I know that it split. I checked my acct. and still shows the same number of shares...
Read up on things.
Go to some sites like these:
http://www.investopedia.com/beginner.asp
How and when would a newbie like me get started with this stock and others to begin a portfolio?? There are so many boards and stuff to read I don't know where to start.
Once auml splits forward 5 for 1 and say the stock price at the time of split is 2.00.This means share price for auml becomes 0.40 a share which is a nice point to buy in with the interest there is with this stock i see a bright future for auml.
Any thought?
TPCV board is now open! You guys are all invited to post.

Pinksheets or OTCBB you should be able to execute
online trades without having to call ur broker
You just need to use Limit orders for buys and sells.
And for the bid and ask pinksheets.com should display
the bid and ask 20 minutes delayed .For real time level2
pinksheets you can use alphatrade.com.
JMHO!
At what point does the stock turn from pink sheet to OTC where online trading can execute trades? I got in early and waiting to see how the next couple of days pan out. Might sift off some profits sometime next week, but I hope I don't have to as it drives towards $3.00 !!!
IT LOOKS STRONG AFTER THAT SHAKE OUT! TO $0.70
I WAS ABLE TO SCOOP SOME SHARES @ $0.75.
I EXPECTED IT TO CONSOLIDATE TODAY !
RUN WILL CONTINUE NEXT WEEK STARTING MONDAY!
$3.00+ SHORT TERM TARGET..

Kudos to you for getting in at .28, I wish that I would have. My suggestion is to sell 1/3 of your position to recoup your initial investment and make a little $ and let the rest ride for awhile. Who knows where this will stop.
LT_Matt
AUML's ride is pretty exciting. Did a broker assisted trade at 0.28 on tuesday and I can't beleive the run. It's the affiliation with Ebay but wondering when this run will stop?
LOL, I was wondering how long it would take someone to start a board for AUML. Didn't think it would be Evo though. You guys should come over sometime, I'm gonna be doing a PPS dance for AUML, it involves a dead cat, a fire, and some candles, so I hope that doesn't freak you guys out. lol
LT_Matt
a post from the "roll" daytraders board stated that the OS was just 5 million shares.....this combined with the current news flow, and partnership with EBAY, could very well be what it takes to get this stock over $2 very shortly.
