hey RJ..just curious what's been happening with this. Did all you FTER shares convert?
Confirmed with broker that FTER has been delisted as of today just as Renee's link says. She said there's still no date on it though, and referred me to investor relations. I'm sure this is the point they determine ownership of shares.
FTER: Pursuant to the merger, for each share of AAC common stock (FTER) you own at the effective time of the merger, you will receive 1.571119 shares of AAC Holdings (AAC:NYSE) common stock.
FINRA deleted symbol.

I think you're right... there's a ## after my stock (FTER##) on scottrade. I'm guessing if I tried I couldn't trade. It's probably frozen right now.
Looks like conversion may be in progress...
Bring it!!!!!!!!!!!
Not ahowing up on ameritrade either.
I actually can't even see the purchase on Google (can't see volume for 22.5) and Scottrade hasn't even recognized it... weird.
There's no volume in either the 60 or 22.5 purchases. I'm not buying into it. I'm guessing AAC just went down with the market yesterday, though it was perhaps an exaggerated 10%.
That doesn't make sense. How many shares were sold? Huge drop for FTER curious as to why.
I know the bid/ask spread is pretty wide right now, but I just don't get why anyone would be buying FTER at $60 or selling at $22...
On another note, what's up with the AAC dive?
Another positive article on AAC from zacks....acc now approaching 33.00
I haven't gotten mine yet...
In other news, someone bought 4 or so FTER shares for $60. Need some volume at that number!
Did anyone get their shares of aac yet? Just spoke to the transfer agent and they said mine broker should have already converted the shares.
That means one thing...
Buy FTER on any weakness! Got buy orders in for $38.99 ...
AAC at almost $31 !!! That means FTER shares currently worth $48.70 !!!!
From Interactive brokers when I asked them about it:
I have sent this to our Corporate Actions department for review.
According to our CA department, at this time the offer appears to be mandatory, so no action is required on your part.
FTER is merging into AAC at 1.571119 per share.
At this time we do not have an effective date for this, so there is no anticipated date for the merger to be processed.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Regards,
Brian H.
Anyone have any movement on the conversion? Shares converted or any new info?
aac creeping up slowly again
I see AAC at $50 in a year or so...
Just a gut feeling on how quickly they will grow... heck, they're at $30 now... and only hav 6 mil float!! $50 per share AAC would make FTER shares worth $79!!!
well.. briefly anyway.
But $29 is good!! I think this is ground floor for this company. Addiction services are unfortunately necessary and booming.
AAC ABOVE 30.00 !!!!!!!!!
I bad mouthed them for years...
after they fired Paul Howarth and left us out to dry. Glad they made good to the long time share holders, but they could have done a better job announcing the merger deal as I'm sure some, like myself, would have kept all their shares for the conversion.
you got that right!!! after years of lousy stock picking, its nice to finally get a winner to make good on all those losses over the years....just wish i would of loaded up before oct 31st...also nice to see a company that didn't leave its long time shareholders by the roadside
Any takers??
Just freed up some cash and put in an order at $40 per share..
AAC ripping into the $30 per share range!!
After 15 years of investing... and taking my share of lumps... payday has finally arrived. LOTS of lessons learned along the way.
Good point. I'm not sure, but after talking with AST company and IR at AAC, and of course reading carefully the AAC prospectus, I'm confident it will be soon.
I noticed AAC is still climbing and is now up to $30 per share, making FTER shares worth over $47 per share!!!!
You think they'll wait for the conversion until after dissenter's rights expire? Prospectus says that dissenters have 30 days from when the prospectus is received. Since most of us received the prospectus on 11/15, one could assume that on 12/15 they'll start converting?
I don't think you have a choice...
Great and charge a fee. Id rather so it myself. They charged me 40 bux when a stock i had dissolved. Protect ur win!
I called AAC Investor Relations (Tripp Sullivan)...
I asked him what to do and he said to call the transfer company. The transfer company said the broker takes care of the letter of transmittal.
I to have Ameritrade. My packet says to sign and return form( no form). Automatic makes sense. Looks like u hit gold rjh. I lost my 9000 shares to the split but i have enough for trip to Disney.
I should say...
The conversion happens automatically if you have a broker (I have TDAmeritrade). They will submit the letter of transmittal for conversion. Got that right from the horses mouth at the American Stock Transfer and Trust Company.
Also from S-4 page 11...
If you hold your shares of AAC common stock on the date of the merger and do not properly exercise your appraisal rights, you will receive shares of our common stock and will become a stockholder of Holdings.
Conversion happens automatically...
...takes awhile I guess to trickle through down to broker...
why are you holding FTER and not converting since the merger was a week ago? Doesn't make any sense to hold FTER anymore if your guaranteed on the conversion.
I would love to...
...but I am all out of dry powder as I have sunk every available dollar I have into FTER once I learned of the merger deal particulars. I got many new purchases of FTER shares below $30... ;) Already had 6K shares from 2009.
The offer is 42.00, why don't you buy more, its instant free money?
Just for those who still doubt....
This notice/prospectus is Holdings’ notice/prospectus for the shares of Holdings common stock that will be issued to AAC stockholders in the merger. It also constitutes a notice by Merger Sub to the stockholders of AAC as to the approval of the merger and the availability of appraisal rights under Nevada law. AAC common stock trades on the OTCBB under the symbol “FTER”, and Holdings common stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “AAC”. On October 30, 2014, the last reported sale price for Holdings’ common stock was $21.20.
And I'll add that AAC Holdings stock is now trading at almost $30!!!! That makes FTER shares conversion price more than $46!!!!
Merger Sub will be merged with and into AAC and, unless you validly exercise appraisal rights in accordance with Nevada law, your shares of AAC common stock will be converted into shares of Holdings common stock.
doesn't matter who owns them or when at time of conversion... Anyone getting FTER shares below $45 is getting a deal!
The conversion of stock into AAC Holdings stock...
... is for all 293K shares outstanding. Any shares traded after the merger includes those shares.
Merger filing closed 11/10
You will receive 1.571119 shares of Holdings common stock in exchange for each share of AAC common stock that you hold on the effective date of the merger,,,,
November 10, 2014

whoever has ask for $42 FTER...
...is leaving almost $5 on the table per share after conversion. CRAZY!!
Now THAT is a first...
TDA showing FTER volume today of 1 share! ha
Yes, this was a sleeper that awoke!
WHERE did you read that shares aren't converted if you bought after merger?? DID NOT see that anywhere in s-4 document. Read it for yourself!
Wow, such an amazing stock. I'm looking to buy 10,000 more shares. I'm looking to refinance the house and take a loan out and buy even more shares, you just can't lose. 1 small question, I was reading that the shares bought after the merger aren't converted, is that true? The merger was on 11/12, so?
AWESOME!!! If you have FTER shares...
DO NOT sell below conversion rate for AAC Holdings stock!!
Use this formula...
Current price AAC per share x 1.571 = FTER share value
Goodness. Hopefully this trend continues!!!
fter shares now worth 46.00 ACC on fire
Now that is a rip off...
How did they pass up my bid?????? Crazy people selling below $44!!!
FTER shares currently worth $44.75 ...
AAC currently trading at $28.50 per share. Sell FTER below $44.75 and LOSE DOLLARS PER SHARE on conversion. Just sayin'! Any weak hands, I have buy in at $37... ;)
i recived mine as well with no form to send in or instruction to do anything.... i think its automatic....just dont know when switch happens

We focus on long term recovery by using relapse prevention and family friendly components which surpass industry standard in the addiction field. When taken together, using the right rehab clinic and drug rehabilitation center costs less than you think. After all, so many addicts lose jobs and careers, families and friends, and many other things you simply cannot put a price on. In terms of jobs and careers, it's tough for anyone suffering drug or alcohol addiction to maintain a job; they lose them more often than not. Thousands if not tens of thousands is spent on drugs and alcohol, or on decisions made while using. In turn, families and friends lose trust in the addict, or decide to give up on them. Addiction is a powerful thing to suffer with alone, but often is incredibly hard on friends and loved ones too. The answer is the right drug rehabilitation center, and the right alcohol rehab service.
Our intensive outpatient program is truly priceless, and combined with our sober living facilities it solves the problem of addiction for many. How? It offers a stable, loving, and caring environment overseen by professionals who have more experience than most family and loved ones. We know how to handle addicts because of our years experience. Our main goal for clients is to set their own goals for long term recovery. Simply getting a job back or making apologies isn't enough. Often there are other problems involved in using drugs and alcohol at the outset, like anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, and many other psychological problems.
Founded in 1966, as the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes quality rehabilitation services. It does this by establishing standards of quality for organizations to use as guidelines in developing and offering their programs or services to consumers. CARF uses the standards to determine how well an organization is serving its consumers and how it can improve. Every year the standards are reviewed and new ones are developed to keep pace with changing conditions and current consumer needs. At A Better Tomorrow our accreditation is means of demonstrating our commitment to quality for clients and their family members. We strive to stay above the standards by providing consistent care in accordance with the newest, evidence-based information. The more innovative our treatment is, the better we can adjust to the fast-paced field of Addiction Recovery. Out of the thousands of programs, only 5% have achieved this status of being accredited.

A drug rehab treatment center should offer a variety of treatment programs that meet individual needs. These drug rehab programs may include inpatient, residential, outpatient, and/or short-stay options.
