GM..holdin my tickets!lets see what haps!!!!!!!!!)eom
AFFI was in BK but the judge said no BK. Now the stock has had a solid bid
lately and I checked buy selling some. The shares were quickly bought.
I know this is highly speculative but worth the risk reward for me.
The float is small and the shell is pretty clean compared to others. I suspect a
R/M in the future and willing to wait it out.
Let's see if we can get some info.
We are considering this at Wealthy Penny.

i look for more opps in a situation like this..
but then again if i dont get more down here im fine holdin the few lotto tickets i do have even if it dont work o well next..but i def think this is worth the risk/reward fer me at least..but surely not puttin the house on it er anything lol..will see what haps i guess..
Damn, this just keeps falling after that false pump from the Q removal. Since this had the one day run the decline has been a full retrace.
GM Stervc and all..well I have my tickets and will let them ride out to see what haps..may be scooping more cheaps today even.)Goin with my gut feeling here now, basing off of the share struct and where this has been in the past. Will see what haps!Enjoy the day!)DF

I like the risk as well. AFFI is one of those where you wake up one morning and a sleeping giant has awakened.
DFLY...
Nothing for now, but I still like the risk here with AFFI that one day out of the blue sky we will be surprised. I have no confirmed due diligence to guarantee such, but this is the market and these are the risks we all decide to either take or not take.
I can't help but think that for AFFI to have traded previously on the NASDAQ, their patents must of had some value "back then" that allowed for quite a few Institutions to have invested into AFFI which can be verified from anyone searching the court dockets for AFFI within the Pacer database.
The sole reason why they mentioned they traded and existed to trade on the NASDAQ was because of their patents of which they have been allowed to keep since the recent removal of the Q and the company coming out of Bankruptcy.
I have to reiterate that while some see "the glass half empty" with the "Q" coming off, I see "the glass half full" as still, I have no idea where AFFI could heading (good or bad), but I like the risk. I have no problem waiting this out to see if anything will ever materialize.

So if it was granted 2-years ago, why did the Q only come off now?
Lol, I don't know how you can determine that I'm upset, cuz I'm not. The BK was dismissed, it was filed with United States Bankruptcy Court, District of South Carolina. Please feel free to look it up.
Nothing out of line, asking for a filing that suggests they are out of BK has already been provided. If you can find evidence to the contrary, please provide it.
EOM
I am not sure why you are getting upset. April 2009 was more than 2-years ago. Coming out of bankruptcy is a legal thing requiring a court filing. I am asking for the evidence of the court ruling that brings them out. Why can nobody find one?
In backing up my concerns, I ask why the company has not made public disclosure of such a major material event. It is a law for public companies. Instead we have None! Care to explain why a public company would not want the public to know they are out of bankruptcy?
Do you find my inquiries out of line and if so, why?
The BK was dismissed, correct? On 04/21/09, yes?
If you are out of bankruptcy is their not a legal paper trail that closes out the bankruptcy. Why haven't shareholders found it? Better still, why hasn't the company put out a press release revealing it as a success. After all, coming out of bankruptcy would be a material event you would want your shareholders to be aware of correct?
The fact that nobody here can find any legal documents showing they came out, and have to resort to 2 and 3 year legal documents as evidence they tried years ago sort of says it all. ya got bubkus
but feel free to prove me wrong if you can. evidence is what I seek, evidence.
So, AFFIQ still exists? The Q removal isn't real? You expect me to believe that?
Yes. Have you found any court filings to support the Q-removal after several years? Has the company begun making public filings since losing the Q? Have any press releases been made to address the issue as a material event?
Penny traders watch for these metrics and gamble on what they mean. The gamble paid off if you were in the early side of the run but those coming in late are now sitting on losses and worse, silence.
The Q being removed was speculation?
It ran 1000% on false speculation and has done nothing but fall ever since. I believe it is down 75 - 80% from that 1000% run. And with people buying into the one day run that would most likely leave many under water.

In other news, Affinity announced that it has filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of South Carolina. In connection with this proceeding, Affinity has filed motions with the Court requesting permission to go forward on the basis of a debtor-in-possession to execute its plan of offering its patents and other assets for sale under the supervision of the Court.
Joe Boyle, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Affinity, stated, "We are obviously disappointed that we have had to file for bankruptcy. However, as we have previously announced, our financial resources are nearing exhaustion, and due to the limitations placed on our patents in May by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, we believe the further pursuit of our patent licensing program and the raising of additional capital necessary to continue such pursuit is not a realistic alternative. Accordingly, our plan is to offer our patents for sale in an orderly process while we are in Chapter 11 and to avoid a Chapter 7 liquidation, in which a court-appointed trustee would execute the sales process. It is possible, however, that our limited resources or other factors could later force us to convert our Chapter 11 case to a Chapter 7."
